Pipp was so kind to start a "I'm not the girl for you if" thread, that I thought it only fitting to start one for us guys. :cool:

So here we go.......

If you have Snapchat filters all over your face, then I'm not the guy for you.
 
If you're going to be needy and won't give me space and time to be by myself, then I'm not the guy for you.

You can dish it, but can you take it? My mom said my dad complained to her that the supper was “too hot”, so she picked up the pot of beans and promptly threw it out the back door. I love that about her. There are a lot of women who don’t take kindly to “criticism”. You better make sure you have a down trodden woman who won’t buck you when you start to give your helpful critiques.

Well we didn't HAVE a thread back then. We had to make do with the girls' thread.
 
If you don't know what it's like to "feel nothing" at times then I'm probably not the guy for you.
If you don't know what it's like to "shut out the world" to keep from getting over stressed then I'm probably not the guy for you.
If you don't know what it's like to be emotionally abused most your entire life then I'm probably not the guy for you.
If you can't understand in the slightest how hard it can be for a guy like me just to shed a tear even in mourning then I'm probably not the guy for you.
If you don't know what it's like to grow up with nearly know direction then I'm probably not the guy for you.
If you don't grasp what it's like to have religion "forced upon you" then I'm probably not the guy for you.
If you don't understand what it's like to "be upset with yourself" then I'm probably not the guy for you.
If you don't know what it's like to feel "trapped with unloving relatives" then I'm probably not the guy for you.

So you want to date... yourself? That's a hefty list of restrictions and very few, men or women, will fall into every one of those.
One does not have to have walked in your shoes, but only relate to the suffering experienced and/or have compassion and understanding of it.

Joey, Joey, you are only twenty five. You need to lighten up a little. These things weighing on your spirit can be dealt with. I also had many similar problems as a young man. Including PTSD from watching my brother burn to death when I was three. I had to find a sympathetic ear; then I just started talking. It was very painful at first. Little by little, as I brought my troubles to the forefront of my mind, they seemed smaller. After enough of this counselling, I was better able to deal with life.

Yeah that's why I included the word "probably" because it would be nice to date someone of the opposite gender that can relate or at least understand a bit of what one is or has been going through.
