I've had a similar experience except I never went to where she was , things were as serious as they were with you, and mine ended up being married. Although I'm not entirely convinced she told me the truth about that. Too many loose ends and things she told me that just don't add up. She told me she was married after I had asked her on several occasions if she was seeing anyone and she said no. I would consider married to be seeing someone. How about you?

It really is frightening how many people, Christian or not, seem to think marriage is some sort of part-time gig... I've read stats as to the estimates of how many people on dating sites or in dating services are actually married and looking for a replacement...

This is why, if you ever see me in chat, I have a message in my chat box that says, "No private chats from married or engaged men."

I am often dismayed by the fact that for some reason, that seems to be what I attract.

I generally don't do PM unless the girls starts it. It avoids a lot of problems, hard feelings, and sticky situations. In addition, I'm very careful about letting people in anyhow, but sometimes you just need present a blank wall to avoid the not so bright females out there.

I meant no offence by that.

i once belonged to a christian dating agency

before it was all internet

congugal statuses i saw included

single - ok
widowed - fair enough
divorced (innocent party) - um ok
divorced - i see
divorce in progress - WHAT?
separated - ?????????????????????????????????

it seem to me that another word for the last 2 is 'married'

It took 8 years for my father to get around to divorcing my mom after he left, so I can understand the divorce in progress one.
