and its not because i'm depressed, I just cant seem to sleep.
Try listening to the Bible on audio. I normally listen to the book of Psalms while lying in bed and at a sound level that I can barely hear. Seeing how there are 150 psalms, I am normally asleep way before the book finishes.I have had really bad insomnia and have barely slept for the last week, does anyone have any tips?

I had 6 months of insomnia. I could not close my eyes without thoughts flooding my mind. At the time, I was pursuing something that was not God's will. I had this word: (Isaiah 50:11)I have had really bad insomnia and have barely slept for the last week, does anyone have any tips?

There are a number of things that can help. The first place to start is by trying to figure out why you can't sleep. Do you have any clues?
I don't have insomnia, but I have a lot of trouble sleeping. It's been a long time since I experienced that wonderful feeling of true exhaustion. The kind where you long for your bed and actually wake up feeling rested in the morning.
For me, it's the opposite. I have to force myself to go to bed, only to fall asleep after about two hours of non-stop thinking. I don't need to explain how I feel when I wake up.
You ask a really good question. In my case, I know where this comes from.
Your questions seems so simple but is yet so important for everybody to ask themselves.
yeah. its kinda chronic, based on my depression level. There are a number of things that can help. The first place to start is by trying to figure out why you can't sleep. Do you have any clues?
The greatest comfort I have is when I need remand myself that Jesus did all for me, so we must trust in Him . (Sometimes I still will have difficulty sleeping, and I talk to the Father until I drift off .)yeah. its kinda chronic, based on my depression level.
