Is a man righteous enough to seek God?

Who will seek God?

As it is written There is NONE righteous, no not one.
There is NONE that understands, there is NONE that seeketh after God. Romans 3:10-11
I didn't write this but I believe it.

Blessed is the man that man whom God gives his spirit too
Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin.

Oh that men would praise the Lord for his goodness and wonderful works to the children of men

No one completely seeks God 100% of the time. We turn away from God when we sin. Be that as it may, the bible says there are righteous people and unrighteous people. Jesus shared His righteousness with those who obey God. So yes, mankind can be righteous enough to obey God, and God in turn completes their righteousness where they fail- IF they remain faithful till the end.
 
Most 'righteous' won't seek God, after all, they are 'good enough', they are 'righteous'.

It's those that see their need for help, those are the ones that seek help.

Mark 2:17 KJVS
[17] When Jesus heard it , he saith unto them, They that are whole have no need of the physician, but they that are sick: I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.

It is our faith we must hold on to - faith in the work done at the cross. We have become the righteousness of God through Christ. His righteousness is a free gift just the same as our salvation. We don't earn it by obedience. We could never obey perfectly enough.

I'm so glad that Jesus sought me out. How could I not respond to such a wonderful gift he offered me.....
 
Response to title of OP.

No man is righteo0us until he comes to God in repentance accepting the sacrifice of His Only Begotten Son's Blood for propitiation for his sin.

It is at this point the saved one is righteous, and that only because it is the righteousness of God, Himself, and not of any flesh. (Yes, I know, Jesus Christ was flesh, He is God.)
 
When I consider the question in the OP's title for the thread and the verses the OP posted, the question is focused on the unbeliever. Can an unbeliever be naturally noble enough to seek God? The Romans verse, which is a quote from Psalm 53, states that no man naturally does. True, many seek a religion to meet their emotional needs or ask philosophical questions when life prompts them to ponder such matters, but none are able to truly seek our God. After all, although we may glimpse His greatness in His creation, but He's unapproachable and terrifying to the unbeliever in His perfect holiness.
Isaiah 55:6 says, "Seek the LORD while He may be found..." It mentions the wicked man forsaking his way and repenting. It clarifies the thought in verse 11 by mentioning that God's word accomplishes what He intends.
This verse suggests that people are really only able to seek God when the message of salvation is presented to them. A sobering thought and challenging exhortation to us.
 
It has always been my understanding that the verses below emphasize how we are not to judge anyone. We are, however, allowed to love all people, even unbelievers while praying for their souls but never for anyone's sin, lest we be seen as participating in them. It is refreshing and full of love.



Rom 2:14
 For whenever gentiles, who do not possess the Law, do instinctively what the Law requires, they are a law to themselves, even though they do not have the Law.


Rom 2:15
 They show that what the Law requires is written in their hearts, a fact to which their own consciences testify, and their thoughts will either accuse or excuse them

Thank God that He seeks us. John 12:32
 
Rom 10:20 But Isaiah is very bold and says, "I was found by those who did not seek Me, I became known to those who did not ask after Me."
Joh 6:44 No one can come to Me unless the Father who has sent Me draw him, and I will raise him up at the last day.
Joh 6:65 And He said, Because of this I said to you that no one can come to Me unless it was given to him from My Father.
 
Actually its God who chose us first. God chose us before the foundation of the World was created. He chose us first, He Predestined us to be the chosen ones long before anything was ever created!

He knew us, He chose us, and He predestined us to accept Him as our Lord and Savior long ago!
 
Tension - Man is lost, but the word can warm his heart.

I think people in their nature have love buried deep within. Different cultures emphasis different moralities but the basically are very similar. The problem always comes to what is righteousness and what is Gods way.

I think if God calls you and you find Him, through the Spirit you can walk in righteousness.

Simon Peter answered, “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.”
Jesus replied, “Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, for this was not revealed to you by flesh and blood, but by my Father in heaven.
Matt 16:16-17

Without God revealing the truth to us, we will never truly know it.
