The truth is that it isn't our politics or our leaders that determine whether we are a pagan nation, they are only the results of what people believe. It has always been so, even with Napoleon and Hitler if you read history.

We each have a choice, we can be citizens of the world with the media leading our values. Scripture tells us the world is not of God, but of demons. Or we can be citizens of the kingdom of God, with Christ our leader and president. We are told to be in the world but not of the world. Almost every person spends hours filling their minds and souls with teaching from demons in the media and little time listening to the Lord.

In the 60's I had spent months at sea without any TV. When I went home and TV I was shocked at what others accepted as simply fun stories, stories that wouldn't have been allowed just months before. People had been gradually led up to accepting such filth so they simply accepted it. Starwars even presents us with an idol called "The Force".
I spent time in Honduras after Hurricane Mitch, and then a month in Kenya and Israel doing Missionary work. It was chilling to come home and see what was on the magazine racks at the Airport. It made me fearful of the wrath of God.

In my opinion YES!

Look back at history among the pagans,Rome is an excellent example.
Homosexuality, all desires of the flesh involving children, eating, drinking, and making slaves of other nations. Denying God and making up mythical gods to adore and sacrifice to.

Abortion is legal. R Kelly was just convicted today for sex trafficking teens. We worship Hollywood and it's stars. We have all manner of herectical so called churches ( scientology is one bad thing).

We don't celebrate Easter as a Passover and the day of our risen Lord! Christmas is a joke and totally pagan as well.

We are as all fallen pagan nations...... EAT,DRINK,AND BE MERRY,not acknowledging tomorrow we die but tomorrow we get to do it again as not taking into account our souls!

I have to regulate my response to the sin of others. Better that I plead for help with repentance and mercy for myself. God will judge others. He alone can truly see the ways and inner workings. It sickens me that some rant and rave about homosexuality and other things as if they are pious and free from the need for forgiveness from God for their own weaknesses. Proverbs 24:17-27 lays out the penalties.

America has always been a pagan nation.
Pagans are mixed in with the population of the whole world. There are no nations that seek to please God. I am Native American and European Settlers felt Manifest Destiny gave them the right to murder most of us. Christians felt that the Animism of many of the Dine gave them the right to "slay the heathen".

I'm sorry I didn't post to be offensive.

All sins are the same and forgivable except unbelief and blasphemy of the Holy Spirit!

I do not think myself better nor more Godly than anyone, nor do I look down my nose at sinners. For I once was lost but now I'm Found by his amazing grace!

Trying to own my culture and to learn the will of God is a real trudge. Luke 19:40 causes me to ponder whether some of our native practices were so displeasing to God?

I followed the election from Australia. It seemed to me that people did not want Mrs Clinton rather than being enthusiastic for Mr Trump. The exceptions were the Christians pushing the idea that Mr Trump was appointed by God to be a modern Darius, leading the people out of captivity and into the promised land once more. I don't hear much about that nowadays. I wonder why.

Americans have great expectations of leaders. Too much, it seems to me. Obama was supposed to be the Great Black Hope. Trump was the Great White Hope. Christians should be following the advice on their money. "In God we Trust".

2 Chronicles 7:14 is just as applicable today as when Solomon spoke those words. I am not convinced that the American church can see the problem. It's too busy blaming others. And yes, it's an issue for the Church in the free world generally.

The cult of personality is prevalent and dangerous. It is exactly this expectation of man that will open the way for a world leader to deceive the nations. We are not there yet. But that is where we are heading.
HI mate i could not help but respond here, the elections are just about pleasing everyone, look at the abortion laws across the states they vary, and look at leaglism of canibis across our states, they vary too, as for christian views and morals, its really just a smoke screen to win more votes, because gay rights wins Just as much votes, across the states, ans elections also cater for atheism and gay rights and much more

look at the vow that each new president makes each time they are sworn in to office, which is to support and uphold the constitution, for freedom for all. my friend you can not have freedom for all, because thats what the devil wants, you can how ever protect those caught up in sin, which is kinda of freedom, as we all need protecting. but still if you give the devil any freedom he takes an inch of freedom and turns it into a mile

Do you actually think we should look at the log in our own eye like Christ told us to do?

Christ set high standards for us to follow Him. Where we spend most of our time shows us where our heart is, it is a chilling thought. We lead the world in both wealth and divorces, Christ speaks against both.

Why do you say, "Shame on you "?
To stress how riddicuous people can be to think women cannot be prophets, leaders, teachers and more.

If anyone wishes to argue, keep standing on the words of Paul only. If any wish to have peace like a river, hear Jesus Yeshua.

Mark 3:24-25
24 If a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand. 25 And if a house is divided against itself, that house will not be able to stand.

It's not about Trump, he is but a symptom of the division that has been taking place in this country for decades.

What is happening in America is much bigger then Donald Trump.

So are we once again pitting the words of Paul against the words of Jesus, even though ALL Scripture has the same Author…the Holy Spirit?

The whole world is becoming Pagan. America isn't unique. Its part and parcel of living in the last days.

The author can do that don’t you know. All throughout scripture God changes His direction for man.

We are just one mighty move of God away from a revival If His people would follow 1chron 7:14
2 Chronicles 7:14
14 if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.

Does humbling your self happen all the time, i mean if the whole nation humbles themselfs just for one day, will they humble them selfs for ever. well all i can say is i would love that. but guess what, if come tomorrow the whole of america humbles them self befor the lord in one big huge event all at the same time.. come the next day you will see spiritual warfare like never befor.
