With these two verses above, we can see that the woman, Mystery Babylon, is in fact a city and this city sits on seven hills. This would be pointing us to Rome who was literally built on and famous for her seven hills, which then points us to the headquarters of her pagan religious system, the Vatican, which exhibits those practices and rituals of the mystery religions that stemmed from Babylon. Another one of the clues that God left us, is that it is written that the woman is dressed in purple and scarlet, which are the base colors worn by the RCC's liturgy.

At the time that John was receiving this information from the angel, Rome was the city that ruled over the kings of the earth. It is meant to point us to Rome and the Vatican as her headquarters and what she has become. Rome and her pagan system, the RCC, fits every criteria that God gave us in his word. In Rev.17 the following is written:

"With her the kings of the earth committed adultery, and the inhabitants of the earth were intoxicated with the wine of her adulteries."

The kings and inhabitants of the earth will be committing spiritual adultery with her, meaning that they will be engaging with her in her pagan practices and rituals. To be committing spiritual adultery is figuratively defined by Strong's as "to be unfaithful to Christ, while posing as His true follower". This would fit perfectly with the RCC for that is exactly what she is doing. Satan mixed in just enough Christianity in to deceive the inhabitants of the earth. But for those who know the word of God, the RCC is not even close to being the true Church of Christ. I've said it before, she is just paganism wearing Christian clothing. She is the mother of all prostitutes, meaning that she is the crème de la crème of false religions. Obviously the deception is working since there are over 1.2 billion devoted to the RCC, her pope and her liturgy.

Some people think that the beast kingdom in Revelation referred to as Babylon will be Babylon rising again,but this is not true,for Babylon will never have dominion again.

In Daniel chapter 7 the 4 beasts are Babylon,Medo-Persia,Greece,and the Roman Empire.The first 3 beasts had their dominion taken away,which means they will never have physical dominion again,but the 4th beast,the Roman Empire,did not have their dominion taken away until Jesus puts them down,which they will become the power base of the man of sin,which will pull all nations together.

America seems to do more to the contributing of the beast kingdom than any other nation,which when God judges Babylon,the other nations stand back for the fear of her torment,and say how did she fall so quickly,and no nation does business with them anymore,which means God is judging a nation,or nations,but not the world,that is responsible for the beast kingdom being set up,doing it intentionally,and the other nations did not have anything to do with setting it up,but went along thinking that was the best way to solve the problems on earth,or out of fear of the power and went along.

Islam is a major religion, it rules many nations around the earth, and has many followers, it is one of the worlds largest religions, right next to Christianity, and its numbers are growing. Revelation 17:15 tells us that the many waters the harlot sits on is many people and nations. Muslims from all around the world go to Mecca to perform the hajj, and bow before and kiss the kabaa stone.

When muslims are called to prayer, they are called through the music played through the minuets, and the times they pray are determined by the position of the sun (see sun salat positioning), the babylonians practiced this same thing.

Revelations 17 calls the city the "mother of all abominations", the word 'abominations' often refers to idolatry, so this is calling the city the mother of them all. Mecca has had many false idols worshipped in it, is a land thats called holy by many pagans throughout time, and the name itself means "mother of all settlements".

The people of this religious city continue to kill many of His followers to this day. The catholic church does have a history of doing so in the past, but the muslims continue this act to this day. Revelations tells us this harlot is doing this.

Revelations 18:17 tells us the saliors and those who make a living at sea will see its demise, and cry out for the city. Mecca sits right next to the worlds biggest shipping lane, the red sea.

The prophecy of the destruction of the harlot is in Isaiah, as written in Isaiah 21:9, the cries of "babylon has fallen" are written there, just as they are in Revelations 18:2. And in Isaiah 21:1 we are told that the prophecy against the harlot is the prophecy against the /desert by the sea/, rome is not a desert by the sea.
And the name Al-Jazeera Al-Arabia means "desert by the sea".

Jeremiah writes a prophecy about Edom in Jeremiah 49, which is modern day Arabia, and even names cities in Arabia, that He will bring destruction down on it, and He will do it with a foriegn army, and that nothing will be left with it when He is done with it.

And in Ezekiel 25, God says again that He will lay waste to Edom, and all man and beast will be destroyed by a foreign land.

And in Isaiah 34, The Lord talks about the end times, when the heavens will roll up like a scroll, and and the stars will fall, and the armies of the earth will be destroyed, their bodies littering the land. You should really read this chapter, it also tells about the total destruction of Edom, and how nothing will be left but its pitch (oil), and that it will burn forever.
This is not a prophecy one could claim happened or will happen spiritually, as Edom has not been destroyed and burned up yet, and the fact that it fits the end times prophecy as well.


There are many prophecies of Arabia being complete destroyed, even in the end times. There are no prophecies of Rome being destroyed, however. And islam is a major religion that is pagan, has world influence, kills Christians, has influence over the nations of the earth with its wine, is made of many people, has a religious city in a desert by the sea, and is the mother of all false idols, whos people bow before a pagan image. I absolutely believe Mecca has far more scriptual evidence than Rome of being mystery babylon.

There may be others but the Babylon of the Bible is on the Euphrates River in what is now Iraq.
