If it's your personal 'other' language which you won't reveal, why do you say 'any' translation? That's really quite disingenuous of you.
Then enlighten me, what was the source material for bible versions in other languages? French? Russian? Japanese? Hindu? Arabic? From which version were they translated? That's just a wild tangent, don't waste more time on it.

What are you talking about?

The source materials for the Bibles translated in French, Russian, Japanese, Hindu and Arabic is the same source materials used to translate the Bible into English.

Are you now enlighten?

No, I seriously doubt it. If it's the Vulgate latin bible, then it's not the same.

You can mock and scoff all you like Lamar. "physical supernatural manifestation" has many meanings based on ones Theological position or lack there of. Some believe they can conjure a force or evoke strong emotional responses and influence belief that a super national experience has happened . YOU fail to take into consideration The God of the Bible. You believe that the Gifts of the Holy Spirit have stopped. You assume any manifestation is not of God. Why? Because you have not seen any real ones. You are more of an evolutionist and agnostic. God doesn't live inside your humanistic approach to a manifestation of God that man cannot comprehend. You, and others like you, try to word salad terms to make you seem lofty or sound official. Do you believe in UFO Lamar? Or Aliens from outer space? If you have the ability to answer that I love to hear it.
I can't even imagine how a believer can walk with Jesus and not see tons of miracles.
I was only saved a week when my little dog got run over by a car. It was loud, like boom!
I ran abd got her and prayed.
I said "Jesus help her"
I had my hands on her and felt bones popping.
She got up 100% restored!
Whew!
Such a mighty God.
I could write a book on miracles I have experienced and seen first hand.

How can believers be that backslidden to even think the Holy Spirit is now weak and powerless????????????

For someone like Truth Defender to talk about miracles vs. “miraculous miracles”, it shows a deep ignorance regarding the entire subject.
I attend a Baptist Bible study.
They are beginning to see the light.
...that there is more out there.
It is getting a little frustrating after 6 years of being with them, and they are stuck on the "abstract" of more power.
The "abstract" of a God working in power.

I walk in it.
They see it out there as an abstract.

Then don't. I don't believe all bible translations are created equal, only KJV is the most authoritative.
What I don't believe is your claim that the "bible in other languages were usually translated from KJV, not the original Greek and Hebrew".

This claim is something that you should easily be able to prove.

The KJV may very well be the most authoritative but that does not prove your claim about the KJV being used in place of Greek and Hebrew for other language translations.

So you would consider raising the dead to be an ordinary miracle, or parting the sea, or making the blind to see and the lame to walk to be ordinary miracles, changing water to the best wine ever, carrying a piece of cloth to a diseased person for healing?? Wow!!

Can you not differentiate between ordinary and miraculous (to be seen by people)? So what if the word “miraculous is not in Scripture, this doesn’t negate the obvious differences.
A. Sure, anyone who has read and believes the scriptures can see that some miracles are more dramatic and visible than others. However, this in no way suggests that the less obvious acts of God must be differentiated by placing them in a completely separate category of supernatural yet non-miraculous miracles which not only redundant but oxymoronic. It is an attempt to arrive at an interpretation you hold by altering the meaning of the text.

B. The question to be asked, though, is whether Jesus Himself made such a distinction? When I read His words, it is evident to me that He did not. When the Savior told us not to worry, the basis of His assurance was His understanding that the Father is already concerned about our welfare and that He is involved in answering our "mundane" prayers for "daily bread."

…31 THEREFORE (because of the Father's love for us) do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we EAT?’ or ‘What shall we DRINK?’ or ‘What shall we WEAR?’ 32 For the Gentiles strive after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. 33 But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these THINGS WILL BE ADDED unto you.…
(Matthew 6:31)
God is not too busy upholding the universe by the word of His power to feed the "ravens" under His care. If you have ever been in a place where you could not afford to pay for basic necessities and did not know HOW God would help you then you might take the prayer for daily bread more seriously.

You are fixated on categorizing different kinds of miracles because of a presupposition you have - which is that God no longer does CERTAIN KINDS of miracles. To make that point you have to define miracles very narrowly as being both visible and dramatic. Jesus understood that some miracles are dramatic and that others are less so. However, He did not find it necessary to create a whole new system of nomenclature to make this point.

Having a faith without sight does not make the Holy Spirit "weak and powerless", it makes a Christian blessed. (John 20:29)

Having a faith without sight does not make a Christian backslidden.

I have been a believer in the supernatural ability of God for decades yet have never seen it personally. Can you say the same?

You seem to believe because of your "tons of miracles".

You seem to be in the doubting Thomas crowd.

No one has said that. Another false Narrative you pulled out of thin air.

"you pulled out of thin air"???

Did you even read the post?

This is what was written:

Maybe in your world this is "thin air" but in the real world this is clearly a rebuke.

BTW, did you ask your pastor or librarian about the meaning of physical supernatural manifestations?

Ok, I get it, you’re calling daily life miraculous. Got it!

Ok, I get it, you’re calling daily life miraculous. Got it!
Not necessarily every daily event but certainly if you have prayed for a specific answer to prayer and it comes to pass in an unusual even miraculous way (beyond what you would ordinarily expect given its improbability) - does that not reveal the hand of God? You seem obsessed with excluding ANYTHING that might be perceived or understood to be an act God. If you want to know if God is involved in something why not ask the Holy Spirit for wisdom as James said:

5Now if any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him.
(James 1:5)
Do you believe this verse? If so, then do what it says believing in the One who guides and directs us. Read also the conditions that must be met:
6 But he must ask in faith, without doubting, because he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind.…
(James 1:6)
One meaning of wisdom is knowing what God is doing in our lives, what He is attempting to teach us by the experienced He takes us through. We do not serve The Unknown God of the Ephesians but a LIVING God who is very much involved in our lives.

I never stated that I didn’t believe in miracles! I believe God is involved, He answers prayers. I believe He is always there for His children.

I’ve witnessed some extraordinary things in my own life, but I wouldn’t call them the miraculous variety, as I was the only one to have witnessed them.

Amen, but once again this has nothing to do with miraculous miracles.

What I don't believe is your claim that the "bible in other languages were usually translated from KJV, not the original Greek and Hebrew".

The KJV may very well be the most authoritative but that does not prove your claim about the KJV being used in place of Greek and Hebrew for other language translations.
Then show me bible in which language was translated from which source, how the translators had the access to the original manuscript, and how they had the correct understanding of the ancient words without English as a medium.

Mat 16
17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;
18 They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.

QUOTE
"You seem to be in the doubting Thomas crowd"

You grabbed that out of the sky.

You just spoke against yourself. You are the one that has not seen any miracles, and confess you will believe it when it becomes your experience. Then chastise those walking in the miraculous.

You claim no miracles is a blessing.
Huh?????

" These signs shall follow them that believe "
(Sobering words implying "no miraculous", is a faithless pseudo sect of Christianity).

You need to fire your teachers.
Get over into the body of Christ that is not fearful of God's fullness.

The power of God will literally take your breath away.
Jesus is big.
The Holy Spirit is big.
They are powerful.
Step into it.
You will be forever changed.

Seek the baptism in the Holy Ghost.
Then go out and change the world.
(Jesus command and formula)

This in red is the false narrative you try yo project and pull out of thin air.

You are very untruthful by only responding with a few lines of the post.

Not going to work.

My comment was about post# 825 in which the following was stated:

"How can believers be that backslidden to even think the Holy Spirit is now weak and powerless????????????"

This is the comment that you were attempting to defend.

And yes, Pentecostals and their ilk are among the doubting Thomas crowd.

Always looking for the next physical supernatural manifestation.
