Alfonzo Schmidlop along with the 47 samurai will come up at the second resurrection along with billions of others and each will stand individually before the Lord at final judgement. Brought forth before each one of them will be their own “book” (an individual record) containing everything that individual did while he was alive. Based upon what is in that book (his good deeds and bad), and the mercy of God…. will determine whether or not that individual’s name will be found written in the “Lamb’s Book of Life.”

Alfonzo Schmidlop will not be judged according to his knowledge of the scripture but according to his deeds and if his deeds are worthy of death he will not be saved by his knowledge of the scripture. And if the deeds of the sumurai are not worthy of death he will not be condemned because he knows nothing about the scriptures

Well, well, someone with his head screwed on straight. <grin> He who has been given much, of him much is required, and he who has been given little, of him little is required.

nice story, but the Bible says nothing about that.
there's one resurrection for all men.
they are separated according to whether they are sheep or goats.
they are separated according to whether they know and are known by Christ.
those in Christ are not judged; those not in Christ are judged according to their works.

all have sinned and fallen short of the Glory of God.

John 3
17"For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him. 18"He who believes in Him is not judged; he who does not believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. 19"This is the judgment, that the Light has come into the world, and men loved the darkness rather than the Light, for their deeds were evil.

rewrite this if you dare.
make God into your image, if you dare.

as for God's Mercy:

John 3:16
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.

Really I thought the subject of this thread was about gentiles that had never heard the gospel.

No Zone I am not interested in your childish games or giving you an excuse to go on another antizionist rant, so let’s stick to the subject which is unbelieving Gentiles that haven’t heard the gospel.

Love ya Zone, I’ll keep you in my prayers!

what antizionist rant?

"gentiles" that have never heard the gospel? what about jews that have never heard it?
see how this works?

....

Acts 17:31
For he has set a day when he will judge the world with justice by the man he has appointed. He has given proof of this to everyone by raising him from the dead.

God is just, and His thoughts and ways are higher than ours. With God all things are possible. sometimes it sounds like some people want to see people go to hell instead of be forgiven. i believe when we all stand before Jesus Christ, we will all know who Jesus Christ is. Now i'm when we all, i'm talking about we.

hello,

Gentile here,

just want to testify that the heart is deceitfully wicked above all things

& that what was written on my heart was certainly not the law of God, until i accepted Christ, and the Holy Spirit himself transformed my heart, and wrote the law of Love on it.

i used to call evil "good" -- that was before i knew, and believed, and when i was following the wicked desires of my own heart.

God is not mocked. let the King be the judge of men's hearts, not us. OP has posted & re-posted this story; the answer is the same -- it is for God alone to search the hearts of men.

not changing the subject at all, doulos.
we could go into what the subject really is.

wanna?

who does this not apply to today?

1 John 2
21I have not written to you because you do not know the truth, but because you do know it, and because no lie is of the truth. 22Who is the liar but the one who denies that Jesus is the Christ? This is the antichrist, the one who denies the Father and the Son. 23Whoever denies the Son does not have the Father; the one who confesses the Son has the Father also.

faithful Old Testament Wineskin Jews who apparently have the law written on their hearts?
that's ellis' assertion.
that's his raison d'être, right?

....

Recent Events in the Holy Land fulfill Bible prophecy.

It can now be shown conclusively that Daniel, a prophet in the Hebrew Scriptures, prophesied the coming of Islam 1200 years before Muhammad was born. Those same scriptures prophesied the crucifixion of Messiah over 500 years before Jesus was born. John, another Bible prophet, foresaw the new nation of Israel 1800 years before it was established. John then prophesied that Jerusalem would be freed of Islamic control by 1967.

Bible Prophecy - Ellis Skolfield

what RUBBISH.

If you are called to preach the gospel to all men which includes Muslims, then take up your cross and do so and if you run into a Jew along the way don't neglect them and be good to them as well and to the Samaritan and to all men. If the Muslim hates the Jew, resists them and mocks them, will the Muslim be able to receive the gospel or will his hatred for the Jew prevent him from believing and remain blinded with that hatred in his heart? Will you tell the Muslim to repent of his sin of hatred toward the Jew and believe the gospel or will you allow him to continue in his hatred and understand why he does?

What about the hatred of the Jews towards Christians at times? We are to preach the gospel to the whole world and not pick and choose to whom we will tell. Jesus told us the world would hate and that includes BOTH Jews and Gentiles that do not love Him.

Who is Alfonzo Schmidlop ?

God is just, He is just not fair. If He were fair, none of us would be here to have this discussion...

Rom 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

Rom 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

God is merciful, but He is also just...

Heb 9:22 And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission.

The books have to be balanced. Each of us has sinned and blood will be shed for sin. The Mercy part of this equation is Christ shed His blood in our stead...

Heb 10:12 But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God;

Heb 10:18 Now where remission of these is, there is no more offering for sin.
Heb 10:19 Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus,

The unfair part is that Christ, who was totally sinless and perfect, died for our sins. That is a love and mercy that is difficult to fully grasp.

Rom 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

ONLY TOTAL FOOLS WOULD DARE TO THINK THEY CAN JUDGE ALMIGHTY GOD. BEST YOU LEARN YOUR PLACE IN GOD'S CREATION!!! FAST!

"gentiles"that have never heard thegospel?

Aren’t Japanese people considered gentiles? Isn’t the original post about early 18th century Japanese people?

what about jews that have never heardit?

The subject of the OP and the thread has nothing to do with Jews but instead some early 18th century Japanese people and Alfonzo Schmidlop from the year 2013. Your attempt to derail the thread is painfully obvious! Sad, very sad!!

see how this works?

Yes I see how you work! Thank you for providing an almost perfect example of the type of poster described in example#3 of 1still_waters post located @ http://christianchat.com/christian-...g-message-board-without-losing-your-mind.html
3.The I Don't Like This Topic Derailer - TIDLTTDfor short.

There are people who only want to derail your thread. These people may see the topic of your thread and immediately become disgusted with the topic. They will enter your thread, and try to derail it from the start. You can easily spot them, because their first, second, third..etc posts in the thread, will have nothing to do with the topic at hand. They may make very indirect snide comments about said topic. Their desire is to create so much distraction in said thread, that they themselves become the topic of the thread. Once enough drama has been caused, they know people will become sick of said topic and give up.

They may hope that everyone will get in a fight over who started what! Due to their innate ability to start drama without actually being too direct, they're constantly able to avoid detection as the fire starter.

Don't take their bait. Just keep on topic.

Yes Zone I think we can all see what is going on, if you disagree with or dislike the poster, you do everything you can to derail the thread and stifle discussion. You know you would be a perfect example of poster 3 in 1still_water's thread except you don't even try to hide the fact you start the chaos. The venom, hatred and animosity displayed in your posts is why I rarely bother discussing anything with you. Even when some one agrees with you, you let your personal vendettas get in the way of productive discussion. Need an example? How about http://christianchat.com/bible-disc...illennialism-chiliaism-7.html#post968363Start start with post 134 (which was agreeing with you) and read through the end of the thread. Look at the animosity, not because of the message but instead your need to attack the messenger! It’s really sad to see you behave that way, but it really is not my problem, but instead yours, so I’ll continue to keep you in my prayers!

Love ya Zone!

1. Is Alfonzo going to heaven because he has his doctrine right?

2. Are those 47 samurai who did what was right going to hell because they didn’t have any doctrine at all?

1) Is Alfonzo going to heaven because he has his doctrine right?
No Alfonso does not put his correct doctrine into play in his life. You can't be a hearer of the word and not a doer of the word to expect salvation. satan for example probably knows correct doctrine better than us all, yet he has no hope of salvation.

2) I think the Samurai may have similar issues to Alfonso. Let's assume they acted righteously, while one righteous on one day save you? God will judge their entire lives according to how the kept the laws of God written on every persons heart. What if some of those Samurais were closet drunks, fornicators, adulterers etc. On the other hand it is possible those Samurai will all be in Heaven. Perhaps they all acted properly in most of their doings. Upon my death, if I enter Heaven, only then will I know the fate of the Samurai.
