I think this may be because I'm schizophrenic, but for some reason I can use faith really well because I easily believe things, the pain goes away a while and then comes back. Try it anyway, I think you have to have believe it will work, but that's interesting.

Well if prayer works for that for me, join me in a prayer to pray for God to rid the world of pain.

Yes, i can confirm this (again) and i'm not schizophrenic.

Because i am a very visual person, i prayed to God once to relive of my burden and anxiety as He says on Matthew 11:28-30.
I went to a monastery in Maine called St. Anthony's monastery (picture attached) in front of the crucifix and i imagined that i was carrying a very heavy airport luggage which i left at the feet of Christ and i said "I am sorry but i can't carry this burden anymore so i am leaving it at your feet. Thank you and please come to us soon".
I left the monastery light as a feather.

Pray is very powerful for sure. Yes, there are probably many instances where a prayer for deliverance or mitigation for pain is readily addressed and answered in a positive way.

"Therefore, confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another so that you may be healed. The effective prayer of a righteous man can accomplish much."
— James 5:16

And being a consistent doer of the Word is crucial in getting closer to the Healer

1 John 1:9
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
