I personally think you have it backwards ----our Right Faith by design includes our Salvation ----You need to have the right Faith first to be saved ------your salvation comes by your Faith in what Jesus accomplished on the cross ---Without Faith in Jesus you will be lost ------all God's promises which includes Salvation comes through Faith in the one who was sent to pay the price for us -----

Without Faith in Jesus and Having Christ in you -----all things in your end will not work out for your Good -----according to Scripture ---

Many Many preach that God's love will save everybody ----as long as you do good things and treat your neighbour -good --this is False Doctrine -----God;s love will bring His Wrath upon anyone who rejects His Son ------

You go to hell for Rejecting Jesus ----and if one rejects Jesus who is the Son of God then they reject the Father and the Holy Spirit as the 3 are one -----

God's love for His Creation will bring this -----when He is ready to do so --if they refuse to accept His Word---

Faith is a gift of God, not something we can conjure up on our own...

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
(Eph 2:8)

The way you speak about faith, there would be room for boasting, e.g. 'my faith saved me'.

Also:
And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven. (Mat 16:17)

So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
(Rom 10:17)

WOW ----You got it ------all Faith comes from God --That is so right ----Human Faith ----Demonic Faith --and Saving Faith ----all from God ----

Human faith doesn't produce ---as it relies on your 5 sense --so you believe in what you see ---hear ---smell--touch and taste ----and God gives us that at birth ----

Demonic Faith ---the demons believe in God but they can't be saved so that faith doesn't produce ---------and

Saving Faith comes from hearing the Word of God and that Faith produces ------So one has to have Saving Faith inbirthed in them and that Faith comes by hearing God's Word ----So God is the author of all Faith --

The way you speak about faith, there would be room for boasting, e.g. 'my faith saved me'.
LOL ----Well that is the way you may have taken that --so that is on you not me -----your the one who said God's Love would Save you not me -----You mentioned NO FAITH just God's Love ----

So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
(Rom 10:17)
WOW ___You get it ------Good for you

This is MY POST on Page 1----- Post # 14 ----you obviously didn't read it or you would have known that I already knew that -----

This is MY Post here below -----go read it

This is the truth ---Grace comes through Faith ---but it has to be the right Faith as there are 3 types of Faith described in Scripture ---so the right Faith comes by hearing the Word ----There are also different kinds of Grace and you need Saving Grace that comes through Saving Faith to be saved -----

Anyway nice try ----

My View is ------we need to try and rely on the Holy Spirit to guide us when we read the Scriptures --and many of us don't --

This is such a powerful piece of Scripture ---especially verse 27

1 John 2:25-27 AMP B
The Promise Is Eternal Life
25 This is the promise which He Himself promised us—eternal life.

26 These things I have written to you with reference to those who are trying to deceive you [seducing you and leading you away from the truth and sound doctrine].

Yes God's love saves us, i.e. the redemptive work of Christ is what saves us. Faith merely looks to Christ's redemptive work

We will just have to disagree. I, in no way believe that grace comes through faith...that puts the cart before the horse,,,

For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;
(Tit 2:11-12)

All men do not have faith.

My View is ------we need to try and rely on the Holy Spirit to guide us when we read the Scriptures --and many of us don't --

I think gotquestions.org's position might be that since Jesus is not on the earth it is not possible to do today
What GQ.org doesn't seem to understand is that this concerns the Holy Ghost, not Jesus per se.

Matthew 12:31
“Wherefore I say unto you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven unto men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Ghost shall not be forgiven unto men.”

Blasphemy against the Holy Ghost, I guess? I think gotquestions.org's position is that it cannot be done today but if I'm correct when reading Matthew and Mark I guess it seems to me like maybe anyone could do it at any time. I think gotquestions.org's position might be that since Jesus is not on the earth it is not possible to do today (along with other reasons possibly).
Got Questions has a plausible explanation, but I'm not sure because in Matthew 12 Jesus didn't directly say "You have committed blasphemy against the Holy Spirit" to the Pharisees. Also, the Pharisees didn't even talk about the Holy Spirit, they talked about Jesus and Beelzebul:

Matthew 12:24
24But when the Pharisees heard this, they said, “Only by Beelzebul, the prince of demons, does this man drive out demons.”

And Jesus further confirmed that sins spoken against Him will be forgiven:

32Whoever speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, either in this age or in the one to come.

So to me, this particular passsage reads more like a warning rather than a judgement. The Pharisees get pretty close to doing it. That seems to be more in line with God's grace and mercy, imo. The Pharisees would have been very familiar with the Old Testament and there are no warnings about an unforgivable sin in the Law of Moses.

What I see is that God has always informed people what the sins are to avoid so they could know how to not be wicked.

all of that being said, it's probably still possible to blaspheme the Holy Spirit, but I don't want to say I know for certain because the Pharisees were in a unique situation. I just know the gifts of the Holy Spirit are still active.

The unpardonable sin is when you tell Jesus no thank you for his salvation and that one should never do.

Yet it is the Holy Spirit that points to Jesus rather than Himself...

John 16:13-14 (KJV) Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you.

I don't think so ---I think you have no understanding of what your scripture you quoted is actually saying --Titus 2:11 ----I think you need to converse with the Holy Spirit and look up your words in this piece of scripture ---bringeth for one -------and get some understanding of the real truth it is offering here -----

For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,

Greek word for bringeth

Strong's Concordance
prospheró: to bring to, i.e. to offer

this is your scripture from the NIV -----

Titus 2:11NIV
11 For the grace of God has appeared that offers salvation to all people.
Read full chapter

----------------------------------------------------

Grace --offers Salvation freely -----we can't work for it --------

Grace by itself cannot and will not save you that is just False Doctrine and will send people to hell ------and you should care about that -----

Your taking a piece of Scripture and making it say what you want it to say --and that is dangerous to the soul of others ----your making up your own Doctrine ----

Faith is the foundation of God's Kingdom -----without first Faith you cannot even please God -----that is what the scripture says ----Grace comes through Faith -----Faith precedes everything in God's Kingdom

1664811754077.jpeg

So what you DO YOU do with this scripture --Ephesians 2 -----throw it out ----you can't believe some scripture and discard others ----you either believe all scripture or you believe none of it ------You can't have truth and lies at the same time ----your either in belief or your in disbelief

Ephesians 2---- Grace comes through Faith -----Salvation comes through Faith ------

As born again Christians He leads and guides us in His Word as we take it up.
I very much disagree with your statement here -----The Holy Spirit does not automatically lead and guide us -----you have to ask the Holy Spirit to guide you in not just the Word but all things in your daily life -----Prayer is the only way to communicate with God and you have to ask ---seek and knock through Prayer and then the door will open into allowing the Holy Spirit to be invited to help -----

And here is the thing -----if you take the first 3 letters of each word of ask ---seek and knock ------it spells ASK ---so ask is there Twice ---must be important to ask the Holy Spirit to help guide us through the scriptures -----

I don't find concerning myself with such things to be productive.
If ya love Jesus and ya want his forgiveness you are not beyond grace. To want Jesus is a work of the Holy Spirit.

Faith precedes everything in God's Kingdom
That only exalts man and his faith. God is the first mover and made everything possible through His Son’s obedience, death and resurrection. No amount of faith can dictate to God what He can and cannot do.
We are at His mercy and true faith believes that.
Are you in the ‘Word of Faith’ camp, where everything centers around our faith?

It truly is a work of the Spirit…an undeserved work, which I would call a work of grace.

No real Christian believer, that is, one who has repented of life with sinning with coming to Christ with trust of deliverance, all of which is faith, will commit a sin that is unforgivable. It would be unforgivable to attribute works of God, as miracles are, which are through the Spirit of God, all to the devil, Satan, believing that, which is what certain Pharisees were doing when Jesus addressed that.

Mark 3:29 New American Standard Bible
but whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit never has forgiveness, but is guilty of an eternal sin”—

987: to slander, hence to speak lightly or profanely of sacred things.

Definition: to slander, to speak lightly or profanely of sacred things
Usage: I speak evil against, blaspheme, use abusive or scurrilous language about (God or men).

ANY belittling of, mocking, making fun of, declare as of Satan when it is of the Holy Spirit & do so knowing the truth.
The only time it's unforgiven when you knowingly do it on purpose.

New American Standard Bible
even though I was previously a blasphemer and a persecutor and a violent aggressor. Yet I was shown mercy because I acted ignorantly in unbelief;

God turns them over to Satan. So I guess the best I've heard is do you still want to be saved. If you want forgiveness you don't have a reprobate mind.

Only Gods Elect can commit the unpardonable sin. Many people have spirit of slumber, these people cant commit it. Luke 12:10. And who so ever shall speak a word against the son of man, it shall be forgiven him; but unto him that blasphemy against the holy spirit it shall not be forgiven. Again. Only Gods Elect can commit the unpardonable sin. They have the holy spirit. Jesus has His election here for destiny, a reason. Romans chapter 8 will document that the election are predestined, chosen before foundation of the world. Some people cant understand, because their spirtualty blind. God has his reasons why some people have spirit of slumber. And the position of Elect cant be volunteered. The election were judged and hand picked by God in first earth age, documentation, ephesians chapter 1, romans chapter 8, first Peter chapter 1.

"Is it possible to do what is the unpardonable sin today?"

Pardon me if what I write sounds like bragging and boasting . . . it isn't.

For me, I do not feel that it is possible for me to deny the Father, Son, and or Holy Spirit. I have had the most Powerful Spiritual experience with the Lord. Having been a part of such an incredible experience, having been Encapsulated and protected by the Lord, I would never turn my back on Him . . . I am prepared to die any death to be in His Almighty, Powerful Presence.

The answer to what the unpardinable sin is can be found in Mark 3:30. The Jews claimed Jesus was in essence in league with the devil and had an unclean spirit thereby. Can this be done today? Can you be guilt of the same thing today? Does sin have an expiration date?

Also, see the warning to the newly converted Christian Hebrews in Hebrews 6:4-6 which says its impossible to renew again to repentance for those that have once been enlightened if they fall away (deny Christ) because it's putting him to an open shame as though he being crucified again. Can you be guilty of this, falling away, today? Why not? Sin has no expiration date.

The unforgivable sin is saying with really believing it that what is done from the Spirit of God is all from the devil. Why would believers who are saved be saying and believing that? The pharisees who said that were saying what they would not be forgiven for, and they were not believers. Saying some are elect who are not yet believers that would do this is meaningless, we only know believers who are the elect, generally when they have been believers a long while, and it is presumptuous to say who else there is that God knows is of the elect before they come to Christ with repentant faith and are saved.
