God is a force; God is spirit and he who worship God must worship him in SPIRIT AND IN TRUTH.
The word of God always had glory with God,The word is the executer of Gods will.
What ever Gods will is, the word does the job.His word is a living word,he can appear as anything God wants. He appeared as melchizedeck,in the days of Abraham. He appeared as the tree of life in the garden. He appeared as the rock in moses days.He appeared as the man Jesus ,the son of david. And he will appear as the word of God with power and glory at his coming.rev19:13. God can make him appear as anything.God is in control of his word and everything.

Dont you know the scriptures,Jesus said no one can come to me unless the father draws him,yes even the bum on the corner. Dont limit the power of Gods pull,we dont choose God but God chooses us, you can be living alone under ground in a hole,if God wants you ,some how he makes you come.

''wakeup''.

Are you saying God the Father appeared as the rock, Jesus etc, because you keep saying 'He' now if the word is just an impersonal force why are you using a persoanl [pronoun..

seems very strange to me that you do so, unless of course you actually believe the truth that 'He' Jesus christ is God :)

John 5:39-40
39Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me. 40And ye will not come to me, that ye might have life. .

hi israel
haven't talked in awhile. hope you are well.

that passage is Jesus talking to The Pharisees, not christians.

they not only didn't believe Moses and the Prophets, part of their religion is diviniation and majik.

The son is given power by the father to be God,all authority is GIVEN TO HIM BY THE FATHER. God said to moses also,I made you a God. Jesus also said we are gods.john10:34.

and there you have it, i guess.
every pseudo- christian cult in the world believes this.

wakeup.
i asked YOU what you would say (testify) to the guy on the corner who was clearly deeply depressed, knew he was not a good man, but knew nothing more.

you want him to get saved, don't you?
how would you present the gospel message to him?

WHAT IS THE GOSPEL?

Could I ask you what you would testify to the desperate soul on the street who was crying out for God?

If they asked you what they had to believe and do to be saved, what would you reply, bearing in mind the conditions you have set down for salvation continually

The person is in a desperate mess. They want to ask Jesus into their life, they are desperate, but not that well educated and frantic just to ask Christ in to their life. What will you say to them?

How did the people see it.

Let us just ask them Directly, The people who was there, The People who saw the Miracles which Our God and His God did by him, let us just ask them, and guess, What Will They Say:
Luke.24:19: (( And he said unto them, What things? And they said unto him, Concerning Jesus of Nazareth which was a prophet mighty in deed and word before God )).
THOSE WERE THERE. Matt.21:8_11: (( And a very great multitude spread their garments in the way; others cut down branches from the trees ,and strawed them in the way, And the multitudes that went before, and that followed, cried, saying, Hosanna to the Son of David: Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord; Hosanna in the highest, And when he was come into Jerusalem, all the city was moved, saying, Who is this? And the multitude said, This isJesus the prophet of Nazareth )), why do not we all be like those people who were loving Jesus (peace be upon him) and bilieving in him the right faith??????????????????

The ONE PRESENT witneses??
Luke7:16 (( And there came a fear on all: and they glorified God, saying,
That a great prophet is risen up among us )).

John.4:19: (( The woman saith unto him, Sir, I perceive that thou art a prophet)).
Theire Faith Does Make Sense To Me.

If you were like them, you would also have declared Christ to be the Son of God.

You didn't finish the rest of the verse:

Fear seized them all, and they glorified God, saying, "A great prophet has arisen among us!" and "God has visited his people!"

John.4:19: (( The woman saith unto him, Sir, I perceive that thou art a prophet)).
20 Our fathers worshiped on this mountain, but you say that in Jerusalem is the place where people ought to worship." 21Jesus said to her, "Woman, believe me, the hour is coming when neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem will you worship the Father. 22 You worship what you do not know; we worship what we know, for salvation is from the Jews. 23But the hour is coming, and is now here, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father is seeking such people to worship him. 24God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth." 25The woman said to him, "I know that Messiah is coming (he who is called Christ). When he comes, he will tell us all things." 26Jesus said to her, "I who speak to you am he."

Theire Faith Does Make Sense To Me.

Matthew 16:13-18: “When Jesus came into the region of Caesarea Philippi, He asked His disciples, saying, "Who do men say that I, the Son of Man, am?" So they said, "Some say John the Baptist, some Elijah, and others Jeremiah or one of the prophets."
He said to them, "But who do you say that I am?" Simon Peter answered and said, "You are the Christ, the Son of the living God." Jesus answered and said to him, "Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but My Father who is in heaven”

Matt 26:63-64 “the high priest answered and said to Him, "I put You under oath by the living God: Tell us if You are the Christ, the Son of God !" Jesus said to him, "It is as you said.

John 9:35-38 Jesus heard that they had cast him out; and when He had found him, He said to him, "Do you believe in the Son of God ?"He answered and said, "Who is He, Lord, that I may believe in Him?" And Jesus said to him, "You have both seen Him and it is He who is talking with you."

If you're going to pick out verses randomly from the Bible, you might as well pick these ones out too.

Grace and Love

hi everyone interested in this mystery. most believe that jesus is god.
well if thats your believe , that only create a lot of questions :

1. on the cross why did he cry . my god my god ?
2. why did he say , into your hand i commit my apirit ?
3. why did he say , my father is greater than i
4. why did he say i my self can not do anything ?
5. in revelation ch. 3:12 why did he call his father my god and your god ?
6. now in heaven why is he sitting next to god ?

all these questions needs to be answered with total honesty you can not just accept any ones opinion without looking in to it very seriously because it is most important to know who you are realy worshiping this is called . knowing your lord spending time to seek him. because you dont him on the mountain or behind that hill or in this church or that church (need to read john4:21-----24)

so, who is jesus realy. you start with reading john 1:1 : in the beginning was the Word and the word was with GOD and the WORD was GOD : it simply is saying that GODS WORD is inside him just like our word is inside us. we also can achieve things just by speaking. because we are created in the image of GOD :
now the WORD became flesh, how did he do this? well he simply commanded the womb of mary to conceive
mary got pregnant , and a man child was born: and the WORD became flesh. and he dwellt among us(men ) inside the flesh dwells GOD. he is the temple of GOD, when he open his mouth god is speaking.
.

When we come to the Bible, perhaps we will have many questions, or perhaps only a few. Some will try to make distinctions in their minds that aren't there in the Bible. They will not understand that God the Son and the Son of God are the same Person, Jesus Christ the God-man.
"Truly the fullness of the Scriptures cannot be obtained outside the mind of the Church. Heretics and unbelieving intellectuals may read the words of Scripture, but they cannot understand it as does a spiritual man or woman within the Holy community of the Church. Without the gift of the Holy Spirit to reveal within us the truth of God, the Bible is but raw data. Certainly the Holy Spirit has whispered truth into the ears of people not in the Church, but the place where He speaks the fullness of the Faith is within the Church where He dwells.
"Only with the teachings of His Church -- the Church that proclaims the Truth found in the Bible -- can we begin our true work of breaking out of the self-imposed imprisonment of self-idolatry. When we submit our lives to Christ in repentance and humility, the Holy Spirit comes to us through the Holy Mysteries and lifts us up. Therefore, it becomes our joyful duty to ceaselessly knock on the door of the Scriptures, asking God to reveal the truth to us through His Word, that we might walk through the gates and grow into an ever greater appreciation and experience of Him and His Heavenly Kingdom.
"Simply put, the Bible must be read with serious and humble prayer, a genuine desire for God's mercy, along with sound instruction from the Church and the very presence of the Holy Spirit within us. Our Lord Jesus Christ left Himself within this Holy Book, that He might be found by those who genuinely seek Him, May you find Him today!"
