Again, are you saying the God of the Universe has no power?

The church's business is not to get the government to care for the fatherless and widows. That is what it is to be truly a careless church. Nor are we to get involved in the mudslinging of politics and thus be spotted by the world.

I don’t answer questions when my question isn’t answered

Oh the irony!!!
The church is called to be salt and light and yes that also includes being in politics too.
Perfect.
Salt involves killing germs, that would be sin, and fertilizer. That involves the gospel work.View attachment 275450

Politics involves compromise with unbelievers, pagans, atheists, satanists, etc. This is why the Bible is no longer allowed to be taught in public school. By all means be the light and be the salt. But I don't see any light or any salt in American politics or any politics anywhere.
Our duties? You mean being a witness for the Lord? Preaching the gospel? Raising up churches? Standing against illegal vaccine mandates? Standing against unconstitutional actions shutting down churches? Caring for the poor?Probably because Christians abandoned their duties cowering in the corner waiting for the rapture.
Perfect.
I would settle for prosperity for myself and my family.President Trump was spared by God to bring forth a new age of prosperity for America and the world.
1 John 3:7 Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous. 8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. The church is called to be salt and light and yes that also includes being in politics too.

If people in the government are committing sin then don't be deceived they are of the devil. You are not going to overcome the devil by voting, the only way to overcome the devil is by the manifestation of Jesus Christ.
I know that many think that they have a good heart, or good opinions, or whatever. Which politicians manifest Jesus Christ? Unless you can show me that I am not interested in your "good heart" or "good opinions".

By all means each of us should follow the Lord's leading in our life. There are certain principles we must all follow, we are witnesses, we are to care for widows and orphans and we are to not be spotted by the world. If the Lord leads you to be involved in politics that is between you and the Lord, I have no interest in questioning or discussing that. But if you teach that the church is to get involved in politics I want to see your Biblical basis for such a doctrine. If you accuse and slander Christians who do not buy into your unbiblical doctrine then I will say you are being one with Satan, the slanderer.
Not only is your doctrine unbiblical but you use it to blaspheme Christians who are being faithful to the Lord. That is very telling.
Our stance according to the New Testament is as ambassadors of the kingdom of the heavens. An ambassador to another country would not publicly get involved in the politics of that nation. We are charged to pray for the leaders, not to debate them or campaign against them.
Paul told us not to be unequally yoked. In politics you must be unequally yoked in order to put together a coalition. That is how I see it and that is why I feel that I am not to get involved. If the Lord leads someone else and they are not unequally yoked, and they do maintain a solid witness for the Lord Jesus, then glory to the Lord Jesus.
There was nothing binary in what I said. What I asked for was to point to a politician who manifested Christ. Then we would have something to discuss. This theoretical mumbo jumbo is just that, you have to Biblical basis, you have to living examples of Politicians manifesting Jesus and defeating the works of the devil, simply a sad attempt at blaming genuine Christians for Satan's kingdom being a heap of collapse. This binary of extremes and Christians disengaging (which goes beyond voting) because of a faulty world view, is also destroying America, sadly.
And btw, the devil is already defeated.
No, once again I asked for you to give us the verses you claim you are basing your doctrine on so that we would have something to discuss and to point to living examples of those who are expressing Jesus as they campaign for political office and serve out terms as politicians."If you accuse and slander Christians who do not buy into your unbiblical doctrine then I will say you are being one with Satan, the slanderer."
Always making it personal, I guess it is a challenge to discuss on conceptual/academic using biblical principles.
It is quite amazing that proclaiming Christ Jesus fulfilled all temporal and eternal, the law and the prophets would be unbiblical.
And there are plenty of Christians, growing daily I might add, who have learned that dispensationalism as created by John Darby and the Scofield Bible, is a false construct will not survive much longer.
That concludes this discussion and I will not respond further.
