lol,I agree it would be difficult for Islam to meet the description in (1John 2;19),,that is if Islam did not exist at the time this was written(did not begin till about 450ad),then they(Islam) could not have been part of the church,("they went out from US,but they were not of US"),,Nor could they be the "beast" if they did not exist prior to (rev.17;8),that is the beast had already been in the world,received it's wound,was in the pit at the time rev.17;8 was written,and is reveled to return to the earth in rev.17;8,,and Islam did not exist,nor was it part of the "US" in 1John.

There is also the statement that in (rev.17;7) "I will tell thee the mystery,ect.",,so if John (knew who the antichrist was) in his other letters,,and it is the same as the beast in Revaluations that the angel is telling the mystery of(that John didn't understand),then John didn't need the angel to tell him who the beast was because he already knew,so it is impossible that the "antichrist" in Johns letters and the Beast,that was,and is not,ect.(mark we are warned of) are even the same person,image ect.

I was in public school in Indonesia and they teach about Islam then. They often criticized Christian because Jesus picture.

You can draw God. You never see God how you draw God. To them it is blasphemy.

Well you will see, if you read my last comment better you will see where I made at least 1 exception to that. If you can sit there and claim to be Christian (as in having the true God living in you as the Holy Spirit forever changing you) and say it is possible for true Christians to go out on a campaign aimed to kill, then I say you do not know the same Spirit I do, because any real Christian is going to go to Him in prayer before any major decision, and our God says love and forgive, not kill ever. vengeance is the Lords, not ours. I stick by my comment 100% and don't care what some "men" said a long time ago, no matter what their names are, so yes I may very well be "disqualifying a lot of past Christians", Sorry truth doesn't change because we don't agree with it, or we can't make logical sense of it. I mean something as simple as

I would say there were some deceived rather than call them phoney, but they were living in the world just as we are, they saw the things around them as normal just as we do. Maybe this way their "conforming to the world", at that time. I promise Jesus never tells us to kill, dispute that. I think He said "You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” As far as King David goes, it was Gods grace that he received, just like us, He did nothing to merit Gods favor, and he no doubt sinned. So, then, you believe David could commit such a crime and still make it to heaven but no one else? I guess I'm confused by the point you're making. If you truly believe what you posted, then you should also admit you believe David was a phony, and not in heaven. I'm not arguing with you either way, I'm just asking you to be consistent.

As you mature in Christ I think your'e going to realize that christians still sin. John made it clear, if you say you have no sin, the truth is not in you. Paul talked about the struggle he had as a christian in Romans 7, and his continual failing to do what he believed was right. "For I do not understand my own actions. For I do not do what I want, but I do the very thing I hate."

Take Paul's advice and put on the full armor of God, because you're susceptible. Saved christians are capable good, and great victory over sin. But they also can temporarily fall, and they all will at some point to some degree in some area. If they persist in it with no repentance, they truly may not be saved. But all christians fail to resist sin at some point.

No, Jesus died for all past and present. We all receive it by Gods grace, David was no different. We can do nothing to merit Gods salvation, never have been able to in history. David was saved and loved by God the same way and reasons we are, Gods grace alone. He loves us because He loves us. He saves us because He wants to, not because we do something to deserve it. I agree we are all sinners, yet in MY experience, after regeneration we can't commit the same sin over and over, the Spirit inside won't allow us to. I think that kind of rules out a Christian army going to war to kill over and over. Jesus never calls us to kill under and circumstance. Again to save loved ones from eminent death by fighting the attackers and end up killing one is much different the grabbing your sword and going to war. All I'm saying is that I don't think a true reborn Christian can murder over and over because of a disagreement.

I agree we all have sin, as a matter of fact I think I have a bigger pile than most that was forgiven, just like David was.
