Yes that's to abide in Grace...its when folks turn back to the law (legalism) that they are cut-off from Christ ...

Ga 5:4 Ye are cut-off from Christ, ye would be justified by the law; ye are fallen away from grace.

That's Paul talking about the faith/law controversy. Christ wasn't referring to that when he told his disciples to abide in him, lest they be broken off and discarded.

No, it's abiding in Christ through the grace (gracious mercy) of GOD.

The scripture describe "grace" ..and its beyond just mercy ..it is the Spirit ..and it is the gospel ...and when folks turn from the gospel of grace back to self-righteousness ...they are cut-off from Christ

You really don't. Just check your posting history. You're as snide and unloving in your words as any of us.

That is your opinion and would be false, as I have never said one snide or unloving word to you.

You may not have liked what I said at times and thus took it in the wrong way, but God's grace and Truth does not always come in well received words.

How do you think those Galatians and Corinthians felt when Paul called them out for their wrong doing ???

Do you think they all sat there and said your right Paul we were wrong, or do you think some were contentious and though he was being judgmental on them as some think that way today ???

It is sad to say but many today if Paul was here preaching to them would think he is a heretic or condemning them !!!

Paul did not stand blindly by while his brothers and sisters in Christ walked in wrongful demeanor's and actions !!!

In understanding God's grace, when we sin a repentance happens that acknowledges the sin and says to the Lord, 'Thank you Jesus. Thank you Lord for paying for this at the cross. Thank you my God, for your grace and mercy, for the Gospel." Our repentance is a repentance of praise, a thanksgiving towards God. Gratitude.

WHEN WE SIN A REPENTANCE HAPPENS

No, I repent even before I sin

So sinless perfection is sinning and being forgiven by a fictional repentance before the sin, during the sin, but never in reality.

Now I am cautious of saying before the Lord I do not sin, simply because He is the judge not I.
The ideas you have expressed show no fear or even sense. You have no clue what you are really saying or the blasphemy you are commiting.
Do you think the Lord stands idle over such lies and ideas like this as if it is part of the gospel of grace?

Only a truly deceived heart could imagine these ideas just to insult the Lord with a person who claims to follow in His ways.
You have no clue what you are doing or saying and have no sense.

Ofcourse you can say or think whatever you like but mental illness is probably the only diagnosis.

Keep reading as Paul in Galatians 5 gives a clear distinction between the fruit of the Spirit and the works of the flesh, and in this distinction he shows the fruit of the Spirit is this:

Fruit of the Spirit (these get eternal life)

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. (Galatians 5:22-23)

Works of the flesh (these do not get eternal life)

Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,
Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,
Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

Notice here in the works of the flesh that people who do these things will not inherit the kingdom of God, which is eternal life, the words in red those are part of the 10 Commandments being transgressed !!!

Right the strength of sin is the law...the flesh by the law is enticed to sin...legalist are in the flesh... Those under grace and the righteousness of faith are in the Spirit..."the Spirit of grace"

Romans 3:31 Paul says by faith we establish the law not void it, and here is what establish means...........

The scripture describe "grace" ..and its beyond just mercy ..it is the Spirit ..and it is the gospel ...and when folks turn from the gospel of grace back to self-righteousness ...they are cut-off from Christ

When people follow a lawless grace they are cut off from Christ.

Right the strength of sin is the law...the flesh by the law is enticed to sin...legalist are in the flesh... Those under grace and the righteousness of faith are in the Spirit..."the Spirit of grace"

Look if your having problems with the flesh..its because your under the law... you need to repent of dead works and enter into Gods Grace and Spirit.

Right the strength of sin is the law...the flesh by the law is enticed to sin...legalist are in the flesh... Those under grace and the righteousness of faith are in the Spirit..."the Spirit of grace"

See though you have the whole legalist thing backwards though, because you are claiming legalism on those keep the law out of love for Christ.

When true legalism is those who try to keep the written ordinances of the Mosaic law for self justification, and thus fail to sin every time.

Notice the works of the flesh are transgression of the law, not the upholding it by love !!!

When people follow a lawless grace they are cut off from Christ.

Well your opinion is just that... and if you don't understand that legalism cuts off a believer from Christ? I doubt your ability to understand what grace is or is not? I debate biblical truth and sound doctrine based on the bible...not mans opinion.

When people follow a lawless grace they are cut off from Christ.

Yes if people think there is no law or standards in Christ, that makes them lawless, and there is only one person and his followers who are considered those of lawlessness.

And it is not those in Christ !!!

No ..the bible says that the law is the strength of sin...do you believe the bible?

What standards do you keep Kenneth? I mean really keep..not the standards that you try to keep and fail or do better than so and so.... give me the biblical standard that you KEEP!

Who is the one with the name "man of lawlessness" mentioned in the bible ???

Jesus tells those in Matthew 7:21-23 He never knew them because they practiced lawlessness, so if those who get sent to the lake are of lawlessness that means a law applies to those in Christ !!! Moral law not Mosaic law !!!!

What standards do you keep Kenneth? I mean really keep..not the standards that you try to keep and fail or do better than so and so.... give me the biblical standard that you KEEP!

Love, faith, content, meekness, longsuffering, joy, goodness...........

Still working on self-control but getting better thanks to the Holy Spirit, still working on peace to as sometimes I do get worried about things but again the Holy Spirit has helped me out a lot here as well.....

Galatians 2:20-21 (NASB)
[SUP]20 [/SUP] "I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me.
[SUP]21 [/SUP] "I do not nullify the grace of God, for if righteousness comes through the Law, then Christ died needlessly."

Even trying to keep God's laws in the flesh..this is works..

No ..the bible says that the law is the strength of sin...do you believe the bible?

Yes I do believe the bible, but the law is the strength of sin; not sin itself !!!

The strength of sin is because if it wasn't for the law we would not know what sin was, as it would not clearly be pointed out to us if it wasn't for the law.

The bible says the law is good and holy if used in its proper way..........Romans 7:12, 1 Timothy 1:8

So do you believe the bible when it says the law is good and holy ???

Where is that written? Grace can't keep anything. Grace is GOD's gracious mercy that enables us to walk in the righteousness of the law.
GRACE CAN'T KEEP ANYTHING? Really?! Did I just read that right?
Grace is God's gracious mercy?
This is convoluted, I have things to do but I hope to return,
tho I'm sure this will be corrected asap!

Nor would I. But if you look at the walk of someone walking in Christ, they will do the righteousness required by the law. So it's not a question of whether the law has to be done or not, it's how do we do that? And the only way is faith.
I don't have time nor am I called to 'Look at the walk of someone walking in Christ'(whatever that really means) nor am I called to judge if someone else is 'doing the righteousness required by the law', but I at least see why some ppl do it to me.....they probably think that's what Jesus is telling them to do.
Where do they get this stuff?

Fruit inspection and mote removal? Not my forte.

Again nobody is talking about the written ordinances of the Mosaic law, which is the whole context in Galatians !!!
