That's a good point.
We need to plan on long term solutions.
Fortunately, the sewage and grey water lines carries it far away.
Plus I've gotten rid of most polyester and replaced with wool, bamboo rayon. Still working on it though.
Like in every place water runs downhill. My parents lived in the Houston area in the 60's but because of this and others they moved from there to the Big Thicket Texas area. In Texas as places like Dallas use their water and then flush it into the sewage system it is treated and filtered and put into the Trinity river and flows down to the Houston Area then diverted by canal treated and that is their drinking water supply. https://stateimpact.npr.org/texas/2...water-keeps-trinity-flowing-houston-drinking/
