I wonder if any Pope is gifted with the Holy Spirit, maybe the Mormons, the Lutheran, the Calvinist, the Methodist, the Orthodox who venerate Mary and Saints, the Jehovah Witness, the Seven Day Adventist, the tongue's salvationist like Pentecostal, etc.

Arent they all claimed to be "Christian"

Why would Jesus says: I am the way, the truth and the life?

2Ti 3:4 lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
2Ti 3:5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

Many people devote themselves to Christianity but are not saved.

If a person holds on to sin the blood of Christ cannot wash it away.

These people will say they cannot abstain from sin, they are only human, they are not perfect.

So they are holding on to sin.

But they sin on purpose wanting the sin but they could of chose not to sin so what is the excuse.

And if a person hates sin, and does not want sin by the Spirit they can abstain from sin.

If we sin we need to repent and not want it again and allow the Spirit to lead us.

Some people do not come to the truth denying the Spirit to lead them and love sin more than God.

The mystery, only Father reveals, to all who do not quit and not believe God did raise Son from the dead, never to ever die again. it is done John 19:30. Father ready daily every minute to impute his righteousness in anyone, that does not quit beleif to this loving and merciful God for us all.
That is what is left, after the one time death of Son going willingly to his physical death in everyone's first birth he took that one for all (The Second Adam) which obeyed Father perfectly for us all to be given this new life in God's Spirit and Truth, working through us, in us. ?We are to see our mistakes an d not be put down over them. I only speak for myself, and you should search out the answers for yourself. But if you have the Holy Spirit you will know as surely as when you see the light from the sun.

Not sure if scripture indicates that King Saul lived a Christian life. If not, then he probably would not qualify as a Christian and therefore would not have received the gift of the Holy Spirit.

From what you are wondering about the Pope and the other religions there don't seem to be any left that would not go to hell. What denomination are you in, if any?

I believe however that all Christians are gifted with the Holy Spirit who comforts and guides us in the life-long repentance process.

Anyone who has asked forgiveness for their sins, sins which in fact Jesus paid the price for by dying on the cross and prayed for God to help them turn away from their sins in indeed a Christian.

There will not be any Christians that will be eternally separated from God. Really, that's what hell is.
