Praise God ! for "Righteousness by Faith"
My salvation IS dependent on me, ONLY in the respect of my "choices" of obedience to the Father ( keeping His Commandments ) and my having Faith, in choosing Christ and HIS Righteousness. Causing me to pray for and have faith in receiving His Holy Spirit indwelling. ... .... Gal 2:20 ... ( as apposed to the spirit of the lord of this world, which leads to disobedience)
Yes ! 2 Cor. 5:21
We are not under the condemnation of the Law, if we are totally IN Christ ... (which is impossible, while we are alive, having this carnal nature), ... my "old man" obliterated, by being born again, into the Righteousness of Christ, which is His "right actions" ... His perfect obedience to the Will of The Father, exemplified by Love, Exodus 20, Matt 22:37, ETC, ETC
BUT ! By your saying, " In order for me to loose my salvation " ... That makes me think that you believe, that you CAN'T loose your salvation, aligning yourself with the OSAS group. Who are relying on their own, "self-righteousness" and corrupted understanding of Jesus and His Righteousness.
Jesus said that, "for ALL have sinned and fall short of the glory of God," Rom 3:23 and Romans 7, Paul talks about his struggle with keeping the Law, God's Commandments, the BATTLE, (that I referred to in post #43) This RACE (ref. Paul) struggle, battle between Good and evil, that is in our "members" our bodies, over the disposition of our soul. (This "conflict" between Good & Evil, is what Ellen White's book, "The Great Controversy" is about ) ( my second favorite book )
Whether to Good, the Nature of Christ and His Righteousness dwelling IN us ( His Holy Spirit ), unto Salvation OR the spirit of Satan, and his anti-Christ spirit, that only leads to disobedience = un-righteousness ~~> and perdition.
Referring to, "by there fruits, you shall know them" .. if someone has rationalized away obedience to God, by their self-righteousness.
... ( and yet calling themselves Christian ) .. you will see it in their disobedience to God's Commandments, noticeably their keeping the Antichrist's false Sabbath, Sunday, rather than Our creator God's Sabbath, the Seventh Day Sabbath, which symbolizes our spiritual connection to and allegiance to The Father, our God, rather than the lord of this world and his sabbath. ( Eph 2:2, 1 John5:19, etc.
Then the devil, taking Him up on a high mountain, showed Him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time. And the devil said to Him, "All this authority I will give You, and their glory; for this has been delivered to me, and I give it to whomever I wish. Luke 4:5-6
