Jeffrey Epstein, wealthy financier accused of child sex trafficking, commits suicide

Epstein, 66, was arrested in early July on charges of child sex trafficking and conspiracy to commit child sex trafficking after returning from France to Manhattan on a private plane. He had pleaded not guilty to those charges and was ordered held without bail.

He was previously put on suicide watch after he was found semi-conscious on July 23 with marks on his neck on the floor of his jail cell.

Epstein, was accused of sexually exploiting dozens of underage girls, some of whom were as young as 14. He faced a maximum sentence of 45 years in prison.

Conspiracy theories already flying since a dead man cannot testify in court, so maybe he was murdered...?

I guess he realized his association with him could be a problem for his political aspirations.... those associations were not a problem in the 1990's though.

I think Trump said he really just didn't like the guy. He only knew him because he was in the elite a-list circles in Florida.

Well Roger we can hope... however it is not a stretch to state that pedophilia is the norm in elite circles and has been for a long long time.

The only that is happening now is it is not hush hush... one step closer to normalization.

I wonder if anyone thinks this really was a suicide. Mr.Epstein had information on Bill Clinton's , shall we say, unique behaviors in private? Didn't JE know at least the Clinton's history? People die when criminal activities start to get investigated and that have ties to the Clinton family.
