Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and the propitiation for our sins. He is the means by which God the Father propitiated the problem of our sins for himself. Jesus died for our sins, God inflicted all consequence for our sins on Jesus.

Romans 3:24-26 KJV
24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:
25 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;
26 To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.

1 John 2:2 KJV
2 And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.

Something I should have included in my original post is that all our sins were laid on Jesus and that he was put to death for them by God the Father.

Isaiah 53:6 KJV
6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the Lord hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.

1 Peter 3:18 KJV
18 For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit:

May, I add John 1:29, John 19:30, Hebrews 9:14-17
So we can now presently have a friendship with Dad, a conversation of honesty? Telling God I just got angry again, I lusted again. I need truth Father, in how to deal with my ignorance and remain in humility to you, not to think I know, I get it, got it! Now trust you only to know you, seeing you have continued to love us all. Not understanding why, Just that you do that and have done that for a long time, ever since Genesis, even though Adam and Eve fell, in not believing they would die if ate and in unbelief ate! You still continued in love, Clothed them, fed them and then put them out of the Garden to teach them, not for to punish, to disciple them, to learn and trust you Father, wow, woe is me as in Isaiah 6:1-7. Even to Cain after he killed his Brother Abel. You did not kill Cain, marked Cain, not killed, amazing, Adam and Eve deserved to get killed and yet you did not kill them either. Then we see, at least me, in the "Testaments, you killed first born of Egyptians and the soldiers also, that first cursed The First Chosen to be killed 10 curses then Ten Laws. Amazing
What was God revealing to people, at least to me, I ask? I get truth told to me personally, so does one, anyone else in belief to God get this too, personally as well, this I see as I stay in not denying God no matter what troubles happen or not, As in the book of Job, tells me, thank you Father and Son for us to be new in trust to you to get us through all troubles we all get in to, and it is by Faith, trust to you, not by me, doing better than anyone else ever. Luke 18:9-14. Matthew 18:24-35.

God just loves us all, wants the best for us all, does not want anyone of us to fight, even though we all have done that and might do that again.
you reported Sins that are past
Romans 3:24-26
I see any sin committed is past so fast, it remains from God as forgiven in Son for us all. What? I can do nothing about past, can you? I can not do a thing about future, anyone else? I see to stand in the present second, and say to God whenever I sin again if do sin again or not! To not make a gigantic mess over it, as is made over it by religious leaders, and not be a person better than others ever as I read Luke 18:9-14 I see this being forgiven, reconciled ( 2 Corinthians 5:17-20) by God presently remains from God to me and all others as well, 1 John 2:1-2, read forward through to verse 27, and trust God Father and Son as Won to be our teacher, in this new life given us to abide in freely. Amazing to see this, when God reveals this to us all in love to us all, that God would not fight back in flesh at all. And did not, who went to that cross willingly and died once for us all to save us in his resurrected life (Hebrews 10:10), not of works any work from us, if it is of our flesh works, then it is not grace is it or a gift? To add any work to a gift, makes it not a gift

God gives, one, anyone that willingly receives becomes new, Thank you

Yes, propitiation, not atonement. I found this article which says it better than I can:

https://www.desiringgod.org/interviews/why-does-atonement-disappear-in-the-new-testament
“who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.”
‭‭1 Peter‬ ‭2:24‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement.”
‭‭Romans‬ ‭5:11‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Propitiation of sin is part of atonement appeasement of gods wrath against sin has to come before atonement and reconciliation can happen. Sin is death that’s why the lifeblood has to be shed to atone for it. The suffering and death is the propitiation and appeasement, but the life is in the blood of atonement . The blood of remission . it’s part of the same process “propitiation “and “atonement”

“For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that maketh an atonement for the soul.”
‭‭Leviticus‬ ‭17:11‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Jesus is the scapegoat , the sin sacrifice , the pass over sacrifice , the firstfruits offering , the daily sacrifice , the drink offering and fellowship offering he is both the propitiation for sin and his bloodshed was the atonement for sin that is able to remit sin he is also the the lord , the mediator and law giver , the high priest of God

he even at one point became the condemned “sinner “ hanged on the tree as a curse

“And if a man have committed a sin worthy of death, and he be to be put to death, and thou hang him on a tree: his body shall not remain all night upon the tree, but thou shalt in any wise bury him that day; (for he that is hanged is accursed of God;) that thy land be not defiled, which the LORD thy God giveth thee for an inheritance.”
‭‭Deuteronomy‬ ‭21:22-23‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:”
‭‭Galatians‬ ‭3:13‬ ‭

who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.”
‭‭1 Peter‬ ‭2:24‬ ‭KJV‬‬

propitiation is about appeasing wrath

“Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, ( god hates sin and his wrath against it was appeased in Christs terrible suffering and death ) he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand.”
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭53:10‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Atonement is about remission of sins by bloodshed because sin requires death . And the bloodshed is from life tbat was given up for your sin. One is redemptive and one secures oir escape from his wrath but this is written just before that part

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.”
‭‭1 John‬ ‭1:9-10‬ ‭KJV‬‬

then comes this part

“My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous: and he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for our's only, but also for the sins of the whole world.”
‭‭1 John‬ ‭2:1-2‬ ‭KJV‬‬

so we need to acknowledge and confess our sins even though he suffered and died so harshly to propitiate gods wrath , but he also stoned for our clear conscience when we confess our sins knowing his bloodshed was for our atonement and reconciliation cost

(required appeasement of wrath )
“But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him;

( atonement and reconciliation )
and with his stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.”
‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭53:5-6‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Absolutely true, John 19:30, John 1:29. Now risen where new life in God Father's Spirit and Truth is given us to be new and love all, not just a few as in first birth I am guilty of only loving those that loved me back

I, tell you in the First Testament it is written an eye for an eye. Now it is Love all, feed your enemies and that is not just about physical food or physical care. More importantly about our Souls to get saved by God Father in risen Son, since all first born flesh is dead to God after Adam the first Ate. Now the second Adam Jesus Christ in English, a life-giving Spirit. Not a flesh giving spirit, A life in Father's Spirit and Truth for us each to be new and love all in truth and be truthful one is not perfect, only God is, to me at least I see
Romans 8:1-3 all. sin, since the Savior Jesus did what is done once for us all. no more works of self can account for anything unless it be God doing it through me at least, seeing 1 Cor 13:1-3, and need God's imputation of God in me to do the work done for us all by Son working through us all in love to all in 1 Cor 13:4-7
Peter, feed the sheep, my sheep, everyone in God's spirit and truth leading thee only, thank you Lord for this gift!
God, did it by Son for me and all the world of people, it is done, we are all reconciled as forgiven by God in Son 2 Cor 5:17-20. Now see 2 Cor. 5:16 to see no more flesh to lead, we once knew him in the flesh, today no more. and how blessed are those that do not see physically (He said to Thomas) and know spiritually from God they are saved by God in God's love and mercy for us all to be at rest in. Hebrews 4:9-13

thank you for your sharing brother, as I see share back and we both grow into maturity in

Amen brother your hearing the gospel and seeing the kingdom of God

“Now it is Love all, feed your enemies and that is not just about physical food or physical care. More importantly about our Souls to get saved by God Father”

“When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory: and before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats: and he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.

Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:

( why ?)

for I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in: naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.

Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink? When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee? Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee? And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.”
‭‭Matthew‬ ‭25:31-40‬ ‭KJV‬‬

notice what you are saying there , is just what Jesus was saying above in the gospel of the kingdom

Hiw many of us would feed Jesus if he was hungry ? Offer him help in his time if need ? Share our food with him ? Visit him in a time he needs a friend ? When we love someone in his name we are loving him

“By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments. For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous. For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith.”
‭‭1 John‬ ‭5:2-4‬ ‭KJV‬‬

He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.”
‭‭Revelation‬ ‭2:7‬ ‭KJV‬‬

“He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death.”
‭‭Revelation‬ ‭2:11‬ ‭KJV‬‬

He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it.”
‭‭Revelation‬ ‭2:17‬ ‭KJV‬‬

He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.”
‭‭Revelation‬ ‭3:5‬ ‭KJV‬‬

Loving one another in Jesus name and ways in deed and truth is salvation

Romans 3:24-26 KJV

26 To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.

1 John 2:2 KJV
2 And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.
The Lord Jesus Christ satisfied the Fathers Justice for ALL sin with His work on the Cross......Propitiated the Father. SATISFIED.

Sin is finished. It's all been paid for.

What mankind needs now is to be reconciled.......Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you shall be saved. And that Goes for EVERYBODY. The Father is fully Propitiated by the perfect work of Christ.

Salvation/reconciliation/justification ~~Equal privilege and equal opportunity for ALL. Acts 16:31.

That includes all, even those that do not see what is seen from God to each person yet
As we each grow new in this done work of Son for us to be new in his risen Life as a gift given from God Father himself to us each to love, regardless
A great Ex: is John 8 to me is when he said to her
"Neither do I accuse you" go and sin no more
Do you think she stopped sinning completely? I see I bet as best she could willingly in thanksgiving and praise to God through Son. Then the religious leaders start using you better not or else and make people guilty and end up trusting in self and other people over the truth God has revealed love all. get busy there, and I see no more time to sin, how about anyone else? Amazing grace this is given to be new I stand in trust to God Father of in risen Son thank you Lord
Impute, your truth to me and all others too, as I already see you still doing that one person at a time thank you
