As for Mat 10 are you a disciple of Christ? I see no special preference given the disciple of today regarding what is required tell about the kingdom, heal the sick and so forth. Why would the requirements be changed for today? Same Christ same gospel same needs!
And what is with the results? In Gospel and acts I read, that all which came to christ ore the apostels got healed. If you are rigth, then where are all the healed christians? This would be a big deal in the words press. Then it would be that everybody who askes Jesus for healing would be healed.
Then we as christians would not know sickness and pain.
But this is not realistic. This time without pain and sickness we will have in heaven, but not one earth.

As i told you before in mission field this is different, the Lord shows there more his power then he does in our "christian" countrys, where many people dont want to hear anything about Jesus. You can talk to them about God, not about Jesus.

If you take Matth 10. This order Jesus gave to his 12 disciples for a special time and with special order, if you want to use one of them for today, then you have to take all for today.
On the otherside, you lack to show the proof. Ore is it so that all people for which you pray and laying you hand upon becomes healed from their sickness and free from demons and leprosy?
I know a leprosy colony in India, they would be glad if you would come and heal them.

Sorry, but today is not the days of Jesus and the apostels.

And who is getting the honor for healing? The one who has the great faith ore Jesus who heales, even if somebody has a small faith?

Like it or not we are called by God to walk by faith and not by sight. He tells us in His Word that without faith., it is impossible to please Him. If you want proof for why God does what He does or doesn't do., you may be very disappointed for a very long time. Blessed are they who don't see and yet believe.

Faith doesn't always give us proof before we step into the water. Most often it's not until we take the step like they did when Moses parted the Red Sea or when Peter walked out on the water towards Jesus. Our guarantee is His Word and His steadfast love for us. "Looking to Jesus the Author and Finisher of our faith"

While many people have observed that some sick and suffering and dying do NOT get healed, others have observed that many sick and suffering and dying DO get healed. Sometimes healing is immediate and other times it is progressive. and IN the progression., we learn a bunch of things about Jesus and our salvation and His love for us that we might not have other wise learned.

What do we say to those things? I say "if God is for me, who AND what can be against me". No one can walk our Christian walk for us. We are each required to walk it out OURSELVES one on one with the help and guidance of Holy Spirit. The Bible says to work our your own salvation with fear and trembling. Meaning- in all seriousness and dedication of heart and mind. We work OUT what Jesus has PUT IN us. Working OUT our salvation is not working FOR our salvation. But it is working OUT our salvation in all it's beauty. And it is a progressive learning of what He has actually done for and to us and IN us.

I have no idea what all He is doing in your life or other peoples lives here, but I do know what some of His promises are and want to keep learning about Him and what salvation is about. Salvation is much more than being saved from going to hell. Our salvation is to be learned about as we are on this planet. We should be learning about His faithfulness and His love for us NOW. We should be seeing answered prayer and actually feeling His presence in this world as we walk here knowing He is actually right WITH US.

We are supposed to be growing in the GRACE AND KNOWLEDGE of our Lord Jesus Christ. What that means for some believers may not be what it has come to mean to me. Some don't believe in healing for today or the other gifts of the Holy Spirit., I do and so do others here on CC.

I have no idea why some believers are not healed but God does and He will work that out in His time with His other children. But my responsibility is to tell about His promises and His faithfulness regardless of what the world shows. Regardless of the hospital wards. As it was shared before., it is also God's will that none would perish but that all would come to repentance and have eternal life. Does this mean God has failed? How come He has not caused all people to be saved?

Why did He decide to work out redemption the way He has in eternity past with the rest of the Godhead? And what is THAT all about? How can God be ONE and yet 3 different persons?

He could have just zapped us all and made us all saved without having His Son suffer and die on the cross at the hands of sinful people. But He didn't do it that way. Asking- "how come?" to some of these questions is a waste of time in my opinion. Some things are NOT for us to know. Some things ARE for us to know. Some times asking how come is good and needed and helps us learn. While at other times we have to accept by faith what our Father has not allowed us to see. And we have to believe He is good regardless of the circumstances.

A great thing about faith is when we do step out and He is pleased He gives us peace about what we don't know and increases our faith for the next time. AND that joy that passes all understanding is worth the trials we went through. But again., at certain times.,each one of us has to walk alone just like we came into this world.

The secret place of the Most High is a personal place. He made us personal beings. We are also social beings and need other people BUT we are also isolated to some degree and God wants to be the One to meet that need to fill that void. No one can meet God for us as individuals when we see Him face to face and answer for the things we did or didn't do.

God doesn't have any grand children.

Who can know the mind of God? His ways are greater then our ways.

There are keys to the riches found in His kingdom. Scripture reveals them to us who believe.

The Lord searches the whole earth to find that heart that is purely set upon Him and to him he reveals those secrets.

To others it is just words and with no power there in.

Even the deciples did not understand his teachings until it was opened up for them.

Why did he send them out by two's? Why with no extra provisions?

They were to stay as long as the peace was present and they were received.

I think too often we pray expecting imediate response for a sulotion to a problem that has developed or a great deal of time. Why?

When Johnathan Lake sent out teams to pray it was commonly understood not to return until God had answered. Is this same principle the one used by the early disciples?

Are we prepared to be hungry, dependant and faithful to ask and wait upon God for his answer?

Is good to ask questions but is wise to wait for Gods reply!

Is the issue healing or forgiveness of sins and righteousness?

Some make out the enemy to be religion rather than it is disappointment and hurt in our hearts that says you cannot trust God, look at all the bad things that have happened in my life.

What is more precious, to be healed in your body or to be forgiven and walk in righteousness?

Those who wish to distract away from what purity and holiness actually is, say the problem is in people believing in the spiritual rather than the problem is dealing with the heart and taking seriously getting yourself right with man and God.

Jesus's healing was to underline this message, but the way some people talk it is just the healing that matters.

Peter do you rember in Luke the fifth chapter when the man with palsy was lowered down from the roof? What did Jesus say to him?

The message of the gospel is all about the connection of healing and salvation.

Christ came to heal and restore all the enemy had take from man though the sin of Adam.

Restored relationship with God the Father and freedom from the holds of sickness and demon possession. It all goes together that is the freedom in Christ we can all have.

Jesus heals our hearts and communes with us, but does not guarantee physical healing or wealth until we meet Him face to face. We are called to walk in obedience and love, applying the healing he has done in our hearts to our lives.

Unfortunately many have created an idolatry of healing and miracles, where if this does not happen God is not really in it.
Worse still using tongues or the anointing, they preach heresy and lead many astray into ignoring sin and abiding in worldly desires of greed and avarice.

Peter why then did people recive physical healing and still do today if it was only to be only experienced in the "meet him face to face time" And to what purpose would being healed then be?

This view of the scriptures is clearly in err!

I might add if a person does not receive salvation by this same measure your suggesting then God is not really in it.

Healing and salvation are gifts whether one accepts these gifts it clearly falls upon the individual to receive them or worse yet be told they do not exist.

This is about healing if you would like to discuss the other issues you have about things God does or doesn't do any more I suggest you start a topic on those issues.

I am saddened you can believe some of the word of God yet deny the power there in.

How on earth are you to pray without ceasing if it's not in tongues? I'd be done in 5 minutes or less. Lord let the whole world get saved in Jesus' Name Amen.

One further thing to ponder. You understand the blessings and curses of the law?

Deu.27+28 dealth with the penalty of sin or obedience to the laws which included the curse of poverty, sickness even death and separation to God.

Well here's the good news Gal 3:11-13 you will see these curses have been paid for.

Amen

[TD="colspan: 3, align: left"] When we go through a trial, we tend to ask ourselves, “Does God really love me? How come I don’t seem to see it?” When that happens, it is time to bring in the cross, for God’s love for you is displayed forever at the cross.

God gave up His Son to suffer and die on the cross for you. Jesus was pierced in seven places for you—in His head by the crown of thorns, His two hands and feet by the nails, and His side and heart by the spear of a Roman soldier.

Jesus wore the crown of thorns on His head so that you can have a sound mind free from fears, guilt, depression, anxieties and stress.

When Jesus first showed His nail-pierced hands to His disciples, He said to them, “Peace be with you.” (John 20:19–20) He wanted them to know that peace is found in His finished work, typified by His pierced hands. The more you see His finished work which has bought complete forgiveness of all your sins, the more your conscience will be at peace and rest.

Jesus’ feet brought Him to places where there was lack, diseases, rejection, condemnation and even death. And those feet were nail-pierced so that you do not need to be in such places yourself. He has rescued you from having to accept and suffer these things in life.

Blood and water flowed out of Jesus’ side when it was pierced. (John 19:34) Medical science will tell you that that means His heart had ruptured. Jesus died literally of a broken heart so that your heart can be filled with joy.

And just as Eve came forth from Adam’s side when he was sleeping, the bride of Christ, the church, came forth from Jesus’ pierced side and death. If He died to have you as His spotless bride, He lives today to care for you.

Beloved, the only man-made things in heaven today are those scars on His body. They will remain forever as tokens of His everlasting love and passion for you. So if God did not spare His Son, but delivered Him up for you, how will He not with Him also freely give you all things!

Healing today is a gift of grace, but most it is just a partial healing for a focused issue.
There are many here who have been healed of one issue but have many others. How many need glasses, have joint pains, blood pressure problems etc. yet say the Lord heals everything. The reality of whole healing today is a lie.

Now typical of people who argue this today, you say I am claiming healing does not happen today. I am not, I am just saying the emphasis on the miraculous is wrong. The miraculous is changing peoples hearts, the fruits of love in community.

I am saddened you care more about the "miraculous" than changing peoples lives with love. Too many talk about power but it is empty and fake.

Healing reality - lay hands on everybody and pray, some might get healed.

This is like dolling out medicine and not knowing who it will help or why. It is not believing healing has a purpose or a reason, it is just mechanically applying a belief which obviously is not understood.

There are testimonies as high as you can stack them of prayer and no healing. So the reality is the Lord does not respond well to this behaviour. Jesus prayed and people were healed. There is no record of he prayed and it failed.

So whatever people are doing it is not what Jesus did or understood. The sad thing is those who often talk about "power" are not talking about the power of love and its transforming power in peoples lives. Rather they are often into heresy and distortions, emotionalism and superstition about demon possessions and missappropriating the reasons for illness and moral issues in peoples lives.

It is largely why WOF is now discredited and hyper-grace is the latest desperate grasp at the miraculous without heart change or righteousness.

Ahh well what more can I say? I have proven to you what scripture clearly states about healing and you haven't been able to disprove it with scripture.

So now all you have is a stack of those who haven't been healed and what the WOF guys and the whoever's are all to blame?

Wow! As for the love which seems to be the core issues here. Where is it that you are demonstateing this?

You have been pretty judgemental and hipercrital about something you have been crearly been proven wrong about. If this is the love that is missing I would have to agree!

there are a 100,000,000 of them compared with the few who are healed

Oh didn't know you was a tag team!

Well from personal experience I know what I have said to be true.

Does the healing always come instant? No

My wife and I were hiking in the mountains behind our house. As we reached the top of the mountain my wife fell on her left knee injured it pretty good. She wouldn't let me touch it she was in a lot of pain. My fist thoughts were how am I going to get her down and should I go call to have her professionally taken off the mountain?

Then the thought came to me to pray for her so I put my hand over her leg where it was injured and prayed the prayer of faith believing fully God could heal her and loved her.

I asked her wh was going on her reply was she felt heat on her leg. This was interesting because she wouldn't let me touch it.

Well I asked her if she could stand she said she thought so. We went down the hill without even a limp and she has never had a problem with it since. BTW she was 62 at the time and never forgot what the Lord had done for her that day.

I have a friend I grew up with one day he came by. I sensed something was not right with him. So I asked.

He told me he had just come from the hospital they had run three tests on the growth on his neck each confirming it was cancer. I asked him if he'd like me to pray for him? After a little reluctance he agreed. As I was praying it was as if the Spirit was speaking to me saying this cancer needed more prayer. So I told him what I heard and asked him when he was to go in the hospital to have it removed.

He told me it was scheduled for the following Friday. So I set up another time before then to meet and pray.

Well Friday came and went. Saturday I get a voice message. He was in tears they had operated on him for 7hrs and could find NO cancer. He thanked me for saving his life! I said well it was God who healed you. He loves you!

I could go on but is already a book.

Praise God He really does love us!

Why would things change today? Is the same God same Holy Spirit same gospel!

I have shown you proof in the word what.. you fail to do is show me where in the word God changed His mind about healing!

Is a weak case that there are still many not healed and even weaker that some doubt God still heals or only on a grace moment. My bible says God loves us all and died for all sin and transgression.

Is okay if you choose to judge me and make fun of the gifts of the Spirit that is on your head.

As for me I rather beleive what God says!

That's not rare. It's getting less rare every day when believers are being trained and simply step out and do it.
Stop looking at the big preachers. God said something about a 'big preacher' with a healing ministry to another preacher. He said: It's not good. One guy on a podium is doing everything. The believers have to do it.
