if you keep v. 18 you fulfill v. 11-17. God is more than a set of rules, by the way. but you law-lovers cannot see that.

Following suit with King David. One cannot love the law without faith in God. Denying the instructions of the law denies the enlightenment to know how to exact it. God is love, and He gave the law. You might think that man lives by only part of God's word instead of all of it as Jesus quoted Deuteronomy to Satan to resist him.

JESUS perfect standard o righteousness did not change but Moses said if you keep the law you need to keep it all.
James said that if you offend the law at any point you have offended the whole thing
Paul said those under grace are not under law.The law was not made for a righteous man.

Paul didn't say that. He said that things that were against us were nailed to the cross. He wrote "Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;" Colossians 2:14

This is referring to the handwriting of our debts that were sinful. Shtar (Aramaic) means handwriting. It's specifically the kind that is on bill which makes sense if you have a debt to pay. This certificate of debt is not the law but is the 2nd witness of our sins which would normally require penalties, but is nailed to the cross. All the law does is expose the debt we are responsible for, and the debt is forgiven by nailing it to the cross.

Then Paul also said: "But this I confess unto thee, that after the way which they call heresy, so worship I the God of my fathers, believing all things which are written in the law and in the prophets:"Acts 24:14

Now if you put Paul's beliefs together in these 2 scriptures, it is clear that if he worships by believing all things written in the law, that he certainly cannot say to others that the law has been nailed to the cross and has been annihilated. It's our sin nailed to the cross, not the spoken words of God. Jesus said we will live by every word that God has spoken. And by that God's word also exposes (elucidates) to us what needs to die.

"And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me." Luke 9:23

Does our Faith that Justifies us void the law? No.

Our Faith upholds the law.

Jesus came to fulfill the Law which he achieved through his death and resurrection. As Paul says the Law was given to lead us to Christ He gave us two new commandments, Love the Lord your God with all youir heart and Love your neighbour as your self. These fulfill the whole Law. I strongly advise Christians not to disregard the first five books of the Bible (the Torah) because their the contents explain so much of the New Testament Im saying this because so many Christians get the impression that they dont need the old testament, which was the Bible of Jesus and the Apostles. If you want to know how to live a Christian life and understand Prophecy study it and compare what it says to New Testament passages. The Lord Jesus talks about mixing the old way with the new way. He says it can't be done.

If we do indeed now obey the law by faith, we are obeying God, the Father. This is the product of newly known Love, tht is God dwelling within each of us. It is a joy t ohonor our parents, and so to honor our Father in heaven by obeying what we now know is wise, His commandments. No one can say it is not a good thing to refrain from stealing, and that the grace of God permits coveting. You cannot say this, nor can I.

When I declare by the Holy Spirit it is a joy to be obedient, it is only because I know I live in grace and mercy and that when I do slip up, I am counted as obedient regardless, but his does not lend to deliberately sinning, nor does it lend to taching against God's will for His Children.

We obey our parents in this age, most do anyway. Why is it so difficult for many to understand that in grace the challenge of obedience is most welcome because our gratitude for God's wonderful sacrifice for our souls to be saved is accomplished.

Yes, we are saved by grace, but this is no escuse to ignore that the law is established by faith.

Now, I will not go into the laws, which are to be observed and which are not again. I have done this so many times, and I believe when I have it has beenignored by those afraid to understand.

The laws we should attmpt to always obey are quite obvious when guided by the Holy Spirit. The laws that are no more are quite obvious to all who have sstudied the law and know just how Jesus Christ has taught us all which are noo more. The Bible is clear on the fact that God does not change we all agree about that (hopefully).

Now something God asked me the other day was how do a God that is not changing judge people for 4,000 year one way and for the remaining 2,000 years a different way? Guys, we are so caught up in the "to law or not to law" discussion that we are missing God's Word and his heart for our salvation. The law was never a plan of salvation but to basically distinguish God's children from the heathen nations. The law (or guidelines) was this covenant between God and his children. God we will follow you and therefor we will do X,Y and Z. The one problem most people have with the law is the Sabbath day keeping. We all agree that the rest of the 10 commandment are actually morally acceptable. Guys, come on. Let us stop this bickering over 1 out of 10 of God's commandments. Trust God to teach you about his Word and let us trust God to use us as instruments for the greater good of His Kingdom.

Think not that I am come to destroy the Law, or the Prophets. I am not come to destroy them, but to fulfill them.
