Ok christian guys who say that us women need to cover all of ur skin,so they won't look at lust at us women.Foolish,Jesus was around beautiful women all the time ,He was human also,He was able to control himself,I'm sorry 1still_waters,but men n boys need to learn self- control,I don't see men dressing there bodies to show no skin.I don't think it is right for us women to cover every part of ur body.Self- control Jesus had.U men n boys need to prayer for it more.I will say that girls n women shouldn't have their breast or butt cheeks open wide,if u know what I mean,but come on guys the back skin showing or a lit part of ur legs or arms,Y don't we just become mummies for u lol,learn self-control.us women have to do the same with u guys.I,myself love to look at guys eyes or smile,how do u cover up a smile u don't ,I use self-control.Let me no what u think???I'm so sure u will.

Pointing out someone else's sin to try and justify your own is causing you to sin even more.

Matthew 7:4 - How can you say to your brother, 'Let me take the speck out of your eye,' when all the time there is a plank in your own eye?

When a man ogles a woman in a bikini, what caused the man to sin? Would he have sinned if the woman wasn't flaunting her body?

Luke 17:1 - Jesus said to his disciples: "Things that cause people to sin are bound to come, but woe to that person through whom they come."

Matthew 18:7 - “Woe to the world because of the things that cause people to sin! Such things must come, but woe to the man through whom they come!"

If a woman wears a short skirt, or short shorts, or a shirt that exposes large amounts of her cleavage, are they doing it to glorify God? Does it really glorify God when a woman's butt looks "sexy" in a pair of short shorts, or when her breasts are hanging obscenely out the top of her blouse?

Romans 12:1 - Therefore, I urge you, brothers, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, holy and pleasing to God—this is your spiritual act of worship.

1 Timothy 2:9 - I also want women to dress modestly, with decency and propriety, not with braided hair or gold or pearls or expensive clothes, 10 but with good deeds, appropriate for women who profess to worship God.

1 Timothy 4:12 - Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity.

The problem I see her is militant feminism. Women feel they are under a great injustice because men can't seem to keep their eyes to themselves, and it's a man's fault that they're looked down upon.

This is the same injustice Eve experienced when the serpent tried convincing her that God didn't want her to eat the forbidden fruit because He didn't want her to be like Him. It's nothing but pure, unadulterated jealousy and pride, and a sin.

Ok, so this doesn't mean wear a potato sack that goes from the top of your neck all the way to the tips of your ankles as you walk around with bed head. It just means having your priorities straight, and finding your beauty from something substantive and of God.

Yes Jesus had self control. Yes us guys should too! But what does this imply for you women? Full license to wear over revealing clothing, just because us guys should have self-control?

Everyone has responsibility.

Everyone should exercise self-control.

And everyone should exercise a 'reasonable' amount of NOT causing someone to stumble. That would include not wearing overly tight and overly revealing clothing. Now if some guy says some horse manure statement like, "Well eyes and ankles cause me to stumble too." - Then that should be recognized for the unreasonable statement that it is.

But just because some people may say unreasonable statements like that, it doesn't imply folks should NOT exercise some 'reasonable' amounts of discretion and not cause a sibling in Christ to stumble.

U missed understood what I was saying,But so true what u wrote,I pray that the younger women read this n get convicted,because I do agree on all the sex selling bodies that u guys have to come in eye site with,I'm so glad I am not a guy truthfully.I just think that us women shouldn't have to look like a guy,all covered up.God had blessed us with curves,we shouldn't hide them but we also shouldn't flaunt them either,I think we should have a happy medium here,us women dress to look like Christian women(not like a bee keeper suit like 1still_waters,he suggested we don't) us women need to feel like a women,not look like man n men need to have self-control more over ur curves,hidden in ur clothes.If u think that I am still wrong I am not judging u,but U have to understand How ,us women feel also.ok God bless

NO,So how can us women look n feel like a women without tempting the guys.There is a reason Y we r made different.We should look different I think,but if what the Bible says about us women should do,I believe we would look like a guy instead of a women NO jewerly,NO feminine clothing,because if we should layer clothes u won't see ur figure,so like a said look like a guy.I guess it's where we want to draw the line.

I'm a skirt and dress lovin' man myself, lol. A woman in a dress shows an exuberant amount of femininity (wow, my brain got tongue tied just typing that!), skirts too, with a nice top. If a woman has breasts, naturally whatever she's wearing is going to curve over them, and that's plenty to show how feminine you are and still be modest.

We're not saying wear carpenter jeans and a button up flannel shirt. Nothing could be farther from the truth! You can be feminine without being obscene quite easily.

Honestly, teenagers nowadays are surprising me in a really good way with their new styles. They're wearing dresses that are indeed short, but they're wearing leggings underneath them. If the neckline of their tops dip too low, some of them wear something underneath it that hides their cleavage. I want to pat them on the back when I see them if I knew it wouldn't make me look like a creep, lol.

Thing is, your body may have nice curves, but God still didn't intend for you to flaunt them. That doesn't mean hide your feminine side, that just means don't flaunt it like a prostitute trying to sell herself.

just to put this out there, when we get to the judgment seat we will be responsible for our thoughts and actions we won't be able to put the blame on any1. no saying but Amy, Ashley, Amber wore their clothes to tight. This goes for the girls as well. The bible tells us that if we are to cause someone to stumble in their walk we will be held accountable. so both men and laddies share EQUAL parts in this subject...laddies have some respect for yourselves and guys control yourselves!!!! those names were random btw! no nasty letters pleaze!!!
