I don't really have a purpose with writing this entry but I have been feeling and trying to find something through these emotions and desires I have had lately, and how powerful the Lord works through all these things. As people of compassion and weary sheep it is important to know that the Lord is the one that is the perfector of our faith. But if we are not born again, we are truly deceiving ourselves. You must be born of both water and the spirit to enter into the kingdom of heaven (John 3).
James 2:22- You see that faith was working with his works, and as a result of the works, faith was perfected.
So there is a source of excellency within us when God is at work within us...
And we die to ourselves and allow him to live through us, it does not settle on the hinges of mediocrity or sign an endorsement with the foolish knowledge of the world but instead it flourishes, edifies, and glorifies the Lord Almighty...Kind of like a covenant promise or a rainbow expanding within the sky after a heavy rain.
Foolish pride has made a nest in the grass before these rains, and cakes like dried up muds on our souls. It ends up resisting the powers of the heavy rain but it is not more potent than the rain, it may be defiled by uncleanliness but the power of the rain the creator casts upon it causes the dirt to loosen and to detangle. The roots of bitterness, selfishness, pride, and the calamity within our hearts get washed away; all because of the one who created it, the Creator knew the seasons...KNEW that in the end the cycles of the weather and the times of the year were in subjection to him and that man may hire great weather reporters, but they have not hired the maker. The maker is still in the shop forming his creation out of clay while the clay may reply back "Why have you made me this way," and the Lord says "I am making a place for my people."
The Lord will be glorified in all things.
And his plan of creation is in the complete opposition and contradiction to the world, those who have strived to make themselves wise and are on the path to destruction...those who shake their heads at him, and scratch their itching ears, hungering! But they lack the bread they can use to be sustained and to rise, as the yeast within it. But they devour their bread of wickedness, and malice detesting the way truth and life- Jesus Christ is the way truth and life.
1 John 2:17-The world is passing away, and also its lusts; but the one who does the will of God lives forever.
