So your a man putting yourself forward as a spokesman for woman...

Some may judge that as being condescending towards woman, thinking that they are incapable of speaking up for themselves..
I must say that I respected his response because I thought it offensive to both genders to make my OP a gender issue. I think some men really don't understand women and seem to think harshly of us. I understand though that we fall short though and we do have some general similarities. So like tourist, I will move on, God Bless you. Oh and thanks for giving your honest take on the matter, even if we don't see eye to eye; I am honored that you took the time, and to learn how others see it.

I too agree with the sometimes aggressive verbal banter. I see insults thrown around like a ball in a heated game of dodgeball. I often wonder why folks feel the need to try and bring another down.

Would you do me a favor, and humor a sister in Christ? Why do we, family in Christ, treat each other in a manner that lacks dignity?

I understand some of you are no nonsense, tell it like you see it, peeps. To be honest, I appreciate that kind of personality, despite my personality being irritatingly syrupy, lol. Don't get me wrong, I fall short too. I have bad days, less thoughtful and kind moments.

I think we should not have to censor every response. We want good debates and conversations that allow for a difference of opinion. We also enjoy looking at a matter, and then studying it together. Plus, I really enjoy humor, love it in fact. All of this is good stuff. But when we take what could be a nice thought provoking dialogue and turn it into a character assasination party, then not only is it not edifying, it is downright destructive and damaging to each other, our integrity, and to our faith.

So yeah. I am trying to understand and would welcome your feedback (please be nice'ish, though, lol). I admit, though, that I had another motive writing this. I wanted to vent a bit, expressing my response when I see it.

I pray we, myself included, all do better
here are some verses from the KJV ""SPIRIT FILLED LIFE BIBLE "" THAT I FOUND AFTER READING SOME OF THE POSTS THAT APPEAR TO BE A LITTLE HOSTILE ::: MARK C 9 V 33-41 /LUKE C 9 V 46==50 /1 TIM C 6 V 3--10 / 2 TIM C 2 V 22 --26 /TITUS C 3 V 9--11 /ROMANS C 1 V 16--23 / 1 TIM C 6 1--6 / JAMES C 3 V 13-- 18 / ALSO I COMPARED THESE READINGS WITH ANOTHER BIBLE AND FOUND THAT THE VERSES ARE THE SAME WITH THE EXCEPTION THAT THE WORDING IS DIFFERENT BUT THE "" MEANING "" OF THE VERSE IS NOT G-D BLESS

Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? let him shew out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom.
James 3:13 KJV
https://bible.com/bible/1/jas.3.13.KJV

Let as many servants as are under the yoke count their own masters worthy of all honour, that the name of God and his doctrine be not blasphemed. And they that have believing masters, let them not despise them, because they are brethren; but rather do them service, because they are faithful and beloved, partakers of the benefit. These things teach and exhort.
1 Timothy 6:1‭-‬2 KJV

Thank you so much. May He Bless you.
