Hers one example: "Furious with rage, Nebuchadnezzar summoned Shadrach, Meshach, and Abendnego. So these men were brought before the king, and Nebuchadnezzar said to them, "Is it true, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, that you do not serve my gods or worship the image of gold I have set up? Now when you hear the sound of the horn, flute, zither, lyre, harp, pipes of all kinds of music, if you are ready to fall down and worship the image I made, very good. But if you do not worship it, you will be thrown immediately into a blazing furnace. Then what god will be able to rescue you from my hand?
Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego replied to the king, "O Nebuchadnezzar, we do not need to defend ourselves before you in this matter. If we are thrown into the blazing furnace, the God we serve is able to save us from it, and he will rescue us from your hand, O king. But even if he does not, we want you to know, O king, that we will not serve your gods or worship the image of gold you have set up."
This is the need for freedom of speech. A costly freedom potentially for the three of them, yet a needed position to have for the glory of God to be recognized.
But that is not what position you are coming from right? You are claiming Gods rightness, and thus purging those not in view of it because you are tired of the threads not being honest. Right? or am I off?
But what makes you think you are right in all you say? Is it strictly the Word you stand on? Is it all of the Word? Is it based on collective agreement with others of the same mindset? What is your stand. In purging the one spoken of in here what is his claim to evil? Where is in you that you do not have to defend yourself in this matter, as the three backed by God concluded, and God honored? If you want to persecute anyone in here I am not on board at all! If you want to rebuke or correct one in here they need to keep it in the light and be biblical in the whole of their argument. But the message that usually gets skipped when I mention it is we are only in Christ when His demeanor is being shown His fruit being seen.
