Something I did a while back ..sort of a poem . I have titled . The Key . . . . . the Open Door

What a miracle the love you have revealed. Teaching your thoughts as revealed.

I spent my life soul searching to no avil imprisoned and locked without a Key.

All my souls searching with all of my might . . could not aid me I was loosing the fight.

Blinded and deaf, I felt with my hand, stumbling and tripping trying to stand.

Again and again I gave up the searching for the Key and determined again I would never be free.

The prison I lived in was so dark and so cold. God sent his Son to free from the dark eternal abode.

So bright is Love and powerful His might . It illuminated by mind and diminished what I called sight.

Then a soothing gentle voice giving me ears to hear ... saying; "This is my Son in whom I am well pleased" At the sight of his face I fell to my knees.

So brilliant was his countenance at last I could see. His face reflecting the love as the reason he suffered for me.

The prison door opened as I gazed at his face. I fell again and thanked him for the gift of grace.

He took me by the hand as I started to cry again whispered, it was why he chose to die .I thanked Him as a followed his light showed the way and marveled at the fact for my trespass he did pay.

My soul the restless wander is no more .He is the key the open door.

If I take a long holiday and am not sure if the time of my return....... I get a housesitter. I have cats,dogs,plants,mail,and paper that will need attention until my return! Now when I go I leave them in charge of what is MINE,I GIVE THEM THE 🔑🔑🔑🔑🔑🔑 KEYS🔑🔑🔑🔑🔑🔑 to accomplish this task. I give them ALL the keys! I hold NO KEY back( even to the liquor cabinet) . I trust my sitters with all I have given them ,that at my return its all in order and good standing!

Good analogy.

Jesus left us in charge.
What we allow is likely to be what overcomes us.
That is why binding and loosing is key.

If a local outlet manger has authority to run that store,they do not contact corporate with no brainers.
That company agent manages the store. Stealing,tardiness,disobedience etc are not referred to corporate because it is up to management to invoke their given authority.
They say "here are the keys to the store whatsover you act on (bind) we will back you (bind with you)."

IOW Jesus was handing us authority to follow his example and do what he did.

Without keys we can be deceived to think we have arrived, in our understanding, while not having enterred in at "The Straight Gate." "Wisdom is the Principal thing, therefore get wisdom, and with all your getting get understanding." "Christ is made to us wisdom from God."
Understanding of the "Word of God" is a map of the Journey, while wisdom is influence of Grace to be on the Journey: to Live from the Heart of God and not from leaning on our umderstanding of the Word. "Lean not on your understanding but Trust in the Lord." "Grace and Truth came by Jesus Christ." "Living in the Will of God: from the Heart of God, is having a double portion of The Holy Spirit, described in Acts 4, in the face of persecution. "All that Live godly shall suffer persecuton." Its the diference between the wise and folish virgens. Neither am i ready to Live from the Heart of God yet, but almost, Fortunatly we have a little time left. "Stive to enter in at the Straight Gate, for many shall seek to enter in and shall not be able."

I'm not a disciple of MacArthur. Why must all of a sudden you want to lob personal insults? I follow the principle laid out in Acts 17:11.
Maybe you could defend your position with Scripture?
Power is not synonomous with authority. I have experienced plenty of God's power both in visions and in my human frailty. So please, enough with your petty assumptions and stick to the topic.

The miracles Jesus did were not meant to be abstract history.
He is alive and has a body.
That body has hands that touch the sick and heal.
That body has a head... Jesus
That head uses the mouths of his disciples (me and you) to cast out demons and break chains off people.
He uses our mouths to speak his words.
His ministry on earth is THROUGH US.
WE NOW HAVE AUTHORITY.
HE GAVE US THE KEYS TO THE KINGDOM

The sin of sectarianism, means, "the exclusion of all others, outside of a particular group." Jesus said to His Apostle, "Forbid him not:" In others words, just because you are a Apostle doesn't make anyone a second class Christian that they can not have power also to cast out demons.

I offer my private interpretation of what I believe the Holy Spirt is teaching me as any other person who defends the mutual faith that they hope is working to defend them also. .LOL When did your writing become scripture?

Again, we all have power, but not all have apostolic authority, or we could all be writing Scripture.

Where did I say I had that kind of authority. You can believe what you want, I just hope and pray it doesn't contradict Scripture.
