A translation of a translation leaves people with other languages a step farther away from the original languages of Greek and Hebrew. Best that native Mandarin speakers learn Hebrew or Greek and then translate it into their native languages.
Instead a translation with dubious creditals, which is no one's language, being used as the basis for a Mandarin translation. Why go through English, modern or archaic at all? That makes no sense, and if people spoke other languages they would never say this!

Are you saying that God in all his power is not able to translate his word perfectly from one language to another?
Edit to add, what concept is man or God not able to convey from Greek or Hebrew into English or Spanish?
Our vocation in life is to surrender ourselves to God and as Paul said:
we become a new creation which means the Holy Spirit had entered
us. So I believe that any Bible that gives us the direction to follow to
achieve that vocation is good. We truly need to internalise God and
be the gospel to people who have never heard it because that may be
the only gospel they will ever read. Our intimate personal relationship
with God is the way we can improve the lives of many others. God
doesn't ask us to be the best, He asks us to be the best we can be. If
we are not His most trusted agents of the future, then i don't think any
Bible will help. We not only need to read the Bible, we need to trust
the Bible. We can always misinterpret a word but we can never deny
the Spirit in our heart. Time and again the pharisees tried to trip up
Jesus but it never worked. A good example is the following:

[SUP]24 [/SUP]A second time they summoned the man who had been blind. “Give glory to God by telling the truth,” they said. “We know this man is a sinner.”
[SUP]25 [/SUP]He replied, “Whether he is a sinner or not, I don’t know. One thing I do know. I was blind but now I see!”

Yes, you're all about you while others get derided as if they don't believe God is able...
That was my "Come on, man." response, and it is fitting.
They, (those you cast doubt on) do believe He is, and possibly, and it is probable, even moreso than yourself.
But this is typical of KJVO'ers - the accusation that others simply don't believe in God's omnipotence. It's frankly callow behavior and not Christian or charitable - and it is all over a Bible version.
oh, you didn't "start" whatever arguments are going on in this thread! they've been going on for longer than any of the people making them have been going at them. don't be discouraged
everyone knows better by first not knowing better.
and these kind of arguments, they flare up without anyone putting out tinder. actually it might be beneficial to give them a certain thread to focus all those arguments in, so they don't derail a different one.

I think it's a very valid question - Can God translate his word into other languages? Of course he can and he did and not one mistake was made doing so.

Scripture testifies to what God has done is doing and will do.
It is NOT God and if you are worshiping anything other than God, please be careful. I say that with no admonition or judgement, but please be careful sir. Pray and ask the Holy Spirit that dwells within you His thoughts on the matter.

Of course you think it's a valid question because you presuppose yourself a believer in God's omnipotence, while those who are not KJVO don't get the same love your neighbor as yourself treatment from you.
That, and it really wasn't meant as a question - it's a veiled accusation meant to demean one person while exalting another. But this is typical KJVO behavior.
Maybe you're sterotyping me because the reason I said what I said was because Angela said a translation leaves people a step farther away from the originals. My point is God DOESN'T leave anything behind when he translates his word.
I get it though, there are some real idiots in the KJV only movement... but what would we expect, the devil will always try to discredit God's work by any means.
Fallacy of equivocation!
There is a massive difference between believing that the KJV is not re-"inspired", and believing that it is not the word of God. A translation of the word of God is still the word of God... and it doesn't have to be "perfect" to qualify as such! Check the 1611 Preface to the Reader on this if you disagree.
