Knowledge can build an atomic bomb. Wisdom tells you how you should use such technology. Definitely wisdom is superior.Had an fascinating conversation with a friend tonight and hereby proclaim that wisdom is far superior than knowledge. Any thoughts?

My thoughts are that without knowledge there would be no need for wisdom. Wisdom is utilized in the application of knowledge.Had an fascinating conversation with a friend tonight and hereby proclaim that wisdom is far superior than knowledge. Any thoughts?
Your comment provoked a thought so allow me to sidestep outside the realm of faith. Is instinct knowledge or wisdom, and if it’s wisdom, then is it applied without knowledge? My thoughts are that without knowledge there would be no need for wisdom. Wisdom is utilized in the application of knowledge.
Knowledge: there are sharks in the water.Solomon asked for knowledge and wisdom and That’s what The Lord gave him...no difference imo
Interesting question. I would say that instinct is a form of knowledge. Of course, even animals have instinct but probably do not have wisdom as they would react to a certain situation without considering the consequences or a better course of action.Your comment provoked a thought so allow me to sidestep outside the realm of faith. Oh, have you seen the reef movie. TerrifyingKnowledge: there are sharks in the water.
Wisdom: don’t go swimming.

There are three gifts that usually work together in our walk with God.
Knowledge [knowing hidden things that have been revealed by the Holy Spirit]
Understanding [ Getting an understanding of why these things have happened]
Wisdom [knowing how to deal with, what has been revealed, through the holy Spirit]
Yes but how do you know what to love or come to understand what to love?Yes so far so good but one commandment of Jesus
which is love the Lord your God with all your heart
and your neighbor as yourself. We can be the brightest
the wisest and best ever born but without love we are
nothing at all. Scripture says love fulfils the law so if
we don't love, we don't know God.
What about love, love conquers all. God bless, thanks for your post
You got me, in my hesitation to post, I didn't grasp the post correctly. My apologies. I thought the title of the thread was about knowledge vs wisdom. PS: These are gifts of the Spirit. Love is a fruit.
