I know that the holidays can sometimes be an ill reminder of the fact there is no significant other in our lives, or being away from family. But this is a community of Christian folk, why not support each other! :D Feel free to share any plans for Christmas, favorite Christmas songs, memories, shoot the breeze, whatever. :D

And I think this can be expanded to non singles I imagine. ;D

Been single all my life so nothing new this Christmas for me, the closest I got to having a relationship at this time of year was a year ago. She was lying to me about how she felt though.

Whoop! Whoop! Ain't no party like a Singles Christmas party, cause a Singles Christmas party don't stop.
 
It has to stop sometime because I WILL be at the after-Christmas candy sale, half-off. In the parking lot, waiting at the door at 5:55am.

After halloween, who cares? The candy is all low rate. After easter, bleh. After valentine's day, maybe a couple of good things. After christmas though.... ah, after christmas there is some good stuff to be had at half price.
 
My family and I are celebrating Christmas Eve and Christmas Day together. There's the Christmas production at our church on the Eve and Christmas lunch on the Day. My parents have invited a friend around for the Eve and meal and I've invited a friend around who doesn't have family to spend the day with this year (and our other friends are busy with their own families or not in town). We'll share in good food and drink, share about what Christmas means to us, hopefully pray for each other and then get into a board-game or two. This will be my first Christmas in a relationship but unfortunately we won't be together on the day. Maybe we can Skype later on in the day.
