I was also surprised at the number when I first read it. I guess maybe they really crammed those prison ships.
Well presumably there would be no cargo, only prisoners as the cargo and the conditions would be...err...deadly pretty much.

It's odd though because when I think a large ship, I think a Spanish Galleon and according to a simple search, they only hold 150 people.

Not sure what they were carrying...

Acts 27:18,38 NKJV
[18] And because we were exceedingly tempest-tossed, the next day they lightened the ship.
[38] So when they had eaten enough, they lightened the ship and threw out the wheat into the sea.

Also, in verse 19, they threw the tackle out as well.

and here I thought those little Galleons held only about 80 people.

(This is more of a Bible Trivia Riddle)

Through the new birth we are given a new nature which means our desires will now coincide with God's desires...except ONE! Which one is that?

Oh dear......riddles are so tricky! lol! :giggle:

Let's see......all except ONE?

My guess is that only God will desire CONTROL. We no longer desire to have CONTROL of ANYTHING and God has to have control because someone needs to be in control.

How many wise men came from the East and spoke to Herid?
Great question!(y)

The Bible does not tell us how many, only that wise men came from the East. Three gifts were brought - gold, frankincense and myrrh - so the wise men are usually depicted as being 3 but, we really do not know how many.

Close enough. The answer I was thinking of was 'worship'. He desires worship but as Christian's we don't or at least shouldn't desire to be worshiped.

Yes! Only God is worthy and will desire worship. Excellent answer!(y)

okeedokee...

What was Job’s mother called?
Let me think about it.
Ok this is real trivial lol...
What were the two columns called on the temple built by Solomon?
And to make it less trivial, what were the meaning of their names?
