Personally I don’t gamble, we are given the example of being a shrewd servant.
It can be argued that gambling is wasteful with what God has given us.
On the other hand I wonder what people make of the stock market, bonds etc.
In a way that’s a sort of corporate gambling, you buy shares hoping to make
lots of money etc. Many do that successfully, some lose millions.
The whole of our economy is based on playing the stock market.
Then there is cold hard currency, verses digital currency.
I think there are different types of Gambling, personal and global.
The personal stuff I have got to say, is a big no no. It wrecks people’s lives.

We do tend to think of gambling in terms of expending money now for a return straight away.
Yet we make long term investments in the hope of a return, like pensions and the like.
I'm not saying that is wrong to invest for retirement.
I know some believers who think it's wrong.
