Praise the Lord for premium ice cream.
I don't drink whiskey, smoke or chew....
Or go with girls who do...
But I do have to watch I don't eat too much premium ice cream. For desert, a mix of Belgium Chocolate and Vanilla Bean Turkey Hill premium. No it didn't have any turkey in it, but was still very tasty. 😋
I better get up early tomorrow and go for a speed walk.
Speaking of speed walking, I normally start my day with a good coffee and brew it in a French press. If you are a coffee drinker and haven't tried one, the secret to great coffee is IMHO:

1. Organic (coffee beans are heavily sprayed)
No bug killers on organic.
2. Fresh purified water. Not tap unless you use a Berky or close equivalent. Best investment for health you can make.
3. French press...most use a glass 1 liter/ quart beaker with a handle. 4 minutes and it's done. Read reviews. Just about everyone likes that method, but some brands work better than others.

I love coffee too.

As a couple pieces of information....

Coffee is naturally bug resistant. The caffeine in the plant (as well as the altitude) repels most bugs. It does need some fertilizers.

I know a lot of people like a French press....but that last bit of coffee is always tempting me to drink it. (It seems like a waste even though it isn't)

I prefer a V-60 to a French press. 50g coffee to 300g boiling water.

I've been playing with some blends and roasting profiles.

I like the pour over better than the drip brew method. It eliminates coffee waste and is always smooth.

I wish that I had a photo app that was secure. I made a couple of insulators for my french press. Ladies call them "cozies". It keeps it hot twice as long. I should name them tactical wraps, because of the mil spec camo. The one thing I don't like is that the glass carafe cools down too quickly without it. I have a USA made stainless thermos. I just don't like how the metal changes the taste.
Anyhow, I should use the pour over method too. I have paper filters.

Have you tried Open Camera?

Or get a Linux phone. There are a scant few, and they won't spy on you.
I watched a YouTube video on those a long time ago and forgot to follow up. That's probably a good idea. I'll start by looking for the Open Camera app. Is it something that would be a Google play store purchase for Android?

Everyone knows I'm the last person on earth 🌎 to ask about techie things 😬, but Open Camera should be free under Google Play, unless it's changed.

I put it on my phone soon after I got it.

Hooray 🥳 for free apps! Right now they're the only kind I use.

Thanks a lot!
I should do that this evening. I'm getting off here and writing it in my list right now at lunch.

I dont go to a cafe much but there used to be one round the corner from the church and I would collect their coffee grounds in a bucket and chuck them in the church garden or compost. I also did flowers for them.

The church am attending currently has no garden and only one indoor plant
Though the evening garden club is held at another church I dont go there for services. Maybe one day. They do have a community garden, but we dont look after it, someone else does.

I think gardening is therapeutic (and a lot of scientific evidence suggest that it is) but it shouldnt be like a luxury that only the rich can afford. I think its a necessity for your soul.

It's good organic matter. It has a little nitrogen in it that will benefit the soil if it's mixed in. If it's used as a thick mulch it holds moisture and prevents weeds from taking over. You have a good source. I used to just use the little bit I have on blueberry bushes, but Ijust heard that after brewing, it's no longer acidic and can go anywhere. I should verify it with a pH strip, but a few master gardeners have been spreading the word on coffee grounds.

Coffee grounds also make a nice scrub if you mix them with body wash, but I've read that the grounds will eventually pool up and clog your drains?

So I stopped using them and use just plain salt instead.

Cheap, dissolvable, and helps buff away rough knees and elbows. 💪

You know what's terrible, if I have sugar in the house, I will start trying to sneak it into everything -- coffee, tea, cereal, oatmeal... 😭 I'm weak!

So that's why I've had to stick with the salt. 😬

The sandal styled shoes and sometimes flip flops because that is so much cooler in the summer and when I lived in FL I even went full barefoot a lot times but not so much up here in GA they think its weird so I'm careful about it.

Why scales serve me well. Great for resisting missile file.

Coffee, candles, and plants, preferably blooming but lately my home has become a rescue where withering houseplants have found sanctuary. The only thing missing is a fountain of water reflecting the candlelight. It doesn't have to be yuge, just enough to catch the flickering flames. Cinnamon scented candles are up there on the best list, but I think Cassia is my favorite scent. Add a citronella incense stick to keep the mosquitoes at bay and out of my pie, cake, custard, or similar confection and.... oh! and a wind catcher, even if it a pinwheel!

I cant do candles, parents cant handle and think Im going to burn the house down. But I havent.
I used to have an oil burner and use essential oils, but now you can just use diffusers with the reed sticks.

My luxury thing to do is have a hot bath with epsoms salts and a few drops of essential oil..which reminds me next time must buy some more lavender.
