I've driven worse... does the damage extend into the unibody structure? these pics looks like mostly unbolt/rebolt stuff which means this could be a salvageable total.

as almost anyone selling a car online would tell you, "that's not a scratch, it's just the way the light reflected there, I'm not really sure what is up with this camera."
Yep, it's just a scratch! It's just a flesh wound!
I'm going to let the insurance company salvage the car and get something else. I can't imagine driving that car again.

Maybe you could also distract from the front by telling a potential buyer, "Well, there's lots of room in the trunk..." 
(I myself can fit up to 8 bodies, er... bags of groceries? with no problems.)

I was heading eastbound and he was heading westbound (driving very fast, mind you). I was about halfway through the intersection when he decided to turn in front of me. I tried to stop, but couldn't. He was driving an SUV and I had a sedan. My airbag went off and that's where I got about half of my bruises and scrapes from. I'm not sure what Star Scream is, but I take it it's awesome.

It was/is a 2005 Ford Focus.Yes, you're right. The front end does curve towards the passenger side. You can't open the passenger side door more than halfway. The kid (he is 19) and I hit at an angle.
Thank goodness you're all right, Duchess. I sure hope the guy thinks twice about zooming out and pulling out in front of people!!! There is a road I go down everyday and the speed limit is 35, but people are always going 55 or more... I got hit several years ago by a kid who had just gotten his license like the day before--he had gunned it right in front of me while making a left turn but only looked one way instead of both.
