Welcome to CC. :) This is not a dating site. You'd probably have better luck on eharmony or christian mingle.. And being newly single, why not enjoy it for awhile, instead of coming on a site and look for guys? :) Also, be careful who you invite to PM you. There are many weirdos and posers here. Not every man is a man, nor every woman, a woman. And don't give out any personal info, unless you want the entire online world to see it and all the freaks contact you. Anything posted here is searchable on any search engine..
 
Continue to build your relationship with God and trust me he will place someone perfect in your life. Abraham and sarah desired a child but instead of waiting upon the lord they took it in their own hands. As people when we seek things on our own without the counsel of God it tends to have bad results. God will bless us as long as we trust on him.
 
Salutations! There are a few good ladies that would make great friends for you. Cinder and seoulsearch are two of them. There are others but my brain just went AWOL so I can't think of their names right now... pay attention to which people say in their Forum posts and you'll find some good friends here.

Either I've just been complimented.... or Lynx is mentally stalking me and seoulsearch. But since I've been volunteered, guess I have to be friendly now.

However, I must warn you in advance that of the two of us, Cinder is the saner, more sensible, well-cultured, and definitely more polite one of the two of us.

If you're looking for wisdom and good advice, she's the one you'll want to go to.

Me? I already shot Lynx a reply with my reaction to him passing me off in the forums. I can't type it here because it would probably get me banned. :cool:

If you're looking for an answer and a mindset that usually goes against the grain, then I am definitely your girl. :)
 
Let the record show that the two ladies I deemed trustworthy enough to recommend as friends to a newbie... now view me with suspicion for recommending them. :p

Did you ever see the movie Stonehearst Asylum? This site is a bit like that movie.

Enjoy yourself, just don't pet Lynx - he's an indoor kitty, but not exactly tame.
 
I'd stick to just the sensible women on this site if I were you, especially where you have been through I would spend more time with focusing on Christ. Usually everything else falls in place after our aim is Christ.
