Lordship Salvation - Saved By Grace Alone
Lordship Salvation - Saved By Grace Alone
Conclusion
My commitment to Jesus Christ does not save me. CHRIST SAVES ME BY HIS GRACE. My surrender to His Lordship does not save me. CHRIST SAVES ME BY HIS GRACE. My obedience to His Word does not save me. CHRIST SAVES ME BY HIS GRACE. My love for the Saviour does not save me. CHRIST SAVES ME BY HIS GRACE. My ability to fulfill all the demands of discipleship does not save me. CHRIST SAVES ME BY HIS GRACE. My behavior and conduct does not save me. CHRIST SAVES ME BY HIS GRACE.
Have you been justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus? Is your hope based upon what you have done or is your hope based upon Jesus’ blood and righteousness? "I dare not trust the sweetest frame, but WHOLLY LEAN ON JESUS’ NAME!" May we be standing fully on Christ the solid Rock, not upon the sinking sand of our own fragile commitment.
Just shows how fallen some are are from the truth. Makes me wonder if they even read the bible.Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock. ... And everyone who hears these words of mine and does not do them will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand. Matthew 7:24, 26
There are NO requirements other than faith in the gospel of Christ in order to receive the free gift of eternal life. You, just as many others, are confused in your understanding of scripture. It's likely going to stay that way until you humble yourself and seek Gods truth instead of mans. I pray that you will. It just takes asking Him to show you and opening your bible and studying with an open mind instead of having your own perception going in. It must be understood by revelation of the Spirit. The gospel of John is an excellent place to start.
As far as your Matthew 7 scripture goes, check this out....
Isaiah 61:1-3 (KJV)
61 The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me; because the Lord hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;
[SUP]2 [/SUP]To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn;
[SUP]3 [/SUP]To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that he might be glorified.
The tree that God plants can't bring evil fruit! This truth is also supported in 1 John 3:9. When we have been "born of God" or spirit is incapable of sin. Our sin is only of the flesh, which will not enter the Kingdom of heaven, only our glorified bodies will. (1 Cor. 15)
I have listened to all different teachers and I compared what they teach with what the bible teaches. I'm not sure what your definition of "hyper grace" is, but I assure you the teaching from that series in Galatians is line by line truth of the word of God. If you think you find something false in any part of it, bring it to my attention. The truth is in Gods word, but it MUST be understood the way it was meant to be, not the way people want to read it.

I barely have time to read a few posts let alone listen and watch all the videos on this site.
I equate hyper grace teaching to the old anti nomianism.
Thus this challenge should go towards legalists and antinomians alike... I challenge anyone to stop listening to their usual LS teachers for however long it takes to go through this study on Galatians
If anyone's record player is stuck then surely it is yours!Same old song and dance - grace alone faith alone Christ alone, code words for anti-doing salvation.

Wow! That looks like an amazing resource. I only skimmed over it but it very much seems to cover much of what anyone would want to know on the subject. Thank you for posting it.
If you like that you will love this teacher/preacher. Not many are teaching truth anymore.

The sinking sand is really on the not doing them
Mat 7:26And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand:

There is no such thing as 'anti-doing salvation'.
Purely a construct of your mind.
"Made righteous" is the only way you and I can "be perfect[/B]". It is His righteousness by which we are saved when we place our trust in Him ALONE!
If not we will "do" as Israel as trust in our own righteousness........
But this is salvation:
8 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God,
9 not of works, lest anyone should boast.
10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them. (Eph 2:8-10)
Perhaps you should meditate on this passage for a time...
I'm not sure what it is that makes you think people who speak the truth about grace are not "doing". We "do" because we love Him, but not in order to be saved. This is the difference, you teach "do to receive", we teach "do because we have received". One of the things Jesus said to "do" was.......
Matthew 5:48 (KJV)
[SUP]48 [/SUP]Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.
I know how I am doing with this instruction, how are you coming along with it? This is a command that was given for you to "do" correct? Are you doing it? Are you "perfect" as He is? No, I didn't think so. Why would Jesus instruct us to "do" perfection knowing that we couldn't possibly be perfect? I wonder if He was showing them (and us) just how far we as mortals are from being perfect with His "Sermon On The Mount". Have you ever read it all? Have you kept all it's instruction every minute of every day of your life?
I wonder if since Jesus knew they (nor we) could be perfect, He was showing them (and us) the only way to be perfect was by depending on Him and His righteousness?
