My own personal comment on the above:
It looks like they get sanctification in the here and now and being saved for going to be with the Lord confused as the above are all good things for a Christian to possess and are in fact the fruit of abiding in Christ in all areas of our lives while here on this earth.

Just shows how fallen some are are from the truth. Makes me wonder if they even read the bible.

Your point above is moot, because nowhere have I ever said or even suggested that we can be saved by works. We are only saved by Faith on Christ's Blood shed upon His cross. So no need to make false accusations with trying to declare I said something I didn't.
First of all, the Matthew 7 Scripture is not my... Scripture. It is God's Word, our Lord Jesus' Own Words. It's better to have respect and declare it as His since He said it.
I understand your point, but there's always a contrast of reality in God's Word, and in this case like what Paul taught in Romans 7.
Rom 7:14-25
14 For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin.
15 For that which I do I allow not: for what I would, that do I not; but what I hate, that do I.
16 If then I do that which I would not, I consent unto the law that it is good.
17 Now then it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.

I equate hyper grace teaching to the old anti nomianism.
Thus this challenge should go towards legalists and antinomians alike... I challenge anyone to stop listening to their usual LS teachers for however long it takes to go through this study on Galatians

Therein is the crux - I liked his statement " When ever it depends on man's faithfulness - you are dealing with bondage and failure"....works-based salvationists that pervert the gospel of the grace of Christ have a very hard time with this statement.
Thus - their continual need to "maintain" their righteousness. They can't see that to rest fully on what Jesus has already done ( it's called faith ) brings a life of good works flowing from the life of Christ in and through us.

I'm not sure what it is that makes you think people who speak the truth about grace are not "doing". We "do" because we love Him, but not in order to be saved. This is the difference, you teach "do to receive", we teach "do because we have received". One of the things Jesus said to "do" was.......

I know how I am doing with this instruction, how are you coming along with it? This is a command that was given for you to "do" correct? Are you doing it? Are you "perfect" as He is? No, I didn't think so. Why would Jesus instruct us to "do" perfection knowing that we couldn't possibly be perfect? I wonder if He was showing them (and us) just how far we as mortals are from being perfect with His "Sermon On The Mount". Have you ever read it all? Have you kept all it's instruction every minute of every day of your life?
I wonder if since Jesus knew they (nor we) could be perfect, He was showing them (and us) the only way to be perfect was by depending on Him and His righteousness?

Those verses remind me a little of some verses I read in Romans!
Romans 5:18-19 (KJV)
[SUP]18 [/SUP]Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.
[SUP]19 [/SUP]For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.

"Made righteous" is the only way you and I can "be perfect". It is His righteousness by which we are saved when we place our trust in Him ALONE!
If not we will "do" as Israel as trust in our own righteousness........

10 Brethren, my heart's desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved.
[SUP]2 [/SUP]For I bear them record that they have a zeal of God, but not according to knowledge.

Perhaps you should meditate on this passage for a time...

Perhaps you should meditate on this passage for a time...
What happens when a person believes this way, then reverts to believing that they must do something to be saved? According to hyper grace, since they believed the right way they became the righteousness of GOD. and that can never be taken away from them. So in essence it really doesn't matter how they believe.
Your comment contradicts itself. First you say you do, then you say it is impossible to do. The latter truly shows where your heart is at.
Working my way through it. Painful to listen to. The speaker is not very discerning IMO because he doesn't realize that the Galatian problem was that pharisees were coming from Jerusalem and telling the gentiles that they couldn't be saved unless they became circumcised and observed the whole law of Moses. That would include sacrifices and everything else, not just the 10 commandments as this speaker alludes to. In essence, it was teaching to place faith in an altogether different covenant.
