If you don't mind, please define YOUR understanding of the term "sovereign" when applying that to God, which the Bible never does.

Anyway sir I'll leave with a closing thought before the next hearing, before tickety boes boes.
pursue the lord and if you love the life he will give you peace and rid your thought of the things that cause unrest.

And then when your ready to talk about tulip, and you've got rid of all those false idol thoughts and tulip being used to make you feel inadequate,

Remember that the lord loves you and also bare in mind that the next time you talk about tulip with me I don't want to hear anymore false idol poop about tulip, because as far as I'm concerned that poop belongs in the toilet.

Bye for now mm. Have a nice weekend.

oh really ok I suppose he doesn't no.
He doesn't ever define his authority.

I must of reading a comic book one of those stories that just made use his sovereignty is power and authority, of the highest and the greatest just to imagine it more than what it is and let it go my head claiming it for myself.

Yeah I guess I should live by hope I guess instead, and err become a cherry picker.

Honestly you where told it meant a lot to me and once Gain you try to poke me,..

Well sir happy prodding

Bye for now.

I'm absolutely lacking in any measure of comprehension what you're talking about. All I did was ask you about your understanding of the term after having answered your question by way of the dictionary. I did not poke you with anything. You chose to assign the term "sovereign" to God. I stated to you that the Bible never even mentions the term "sovereign" nor "sovereignty" with God not even referring to Himself as a Sovereign. It's people who conjure that up and apply it to the very Lord who never used that term.

You seem to love your little smear tactics veiled behind encouragement sounding words and phrases, but the acid is quite unmistakable as it spills out from your diatribe of victimhood antics. I simply asked a question and you play the worn out "victim" card. Dude, that is getting so old these days.

Will you not define for me what you mean by your use of a term that the Lord never inspired to be written in His word about Himself?

MM

I can agree with that. Yes, but He does not use that authority to perpetrate injustice. He does have limits to what He CAN do.

MM
well that must be me seeing as you got all these crazy suspicions about me,

Well anyway have a nice poke back if you want poke away son if it makes you better.

I did tell you I hoped wasn't going be a ding ding ding a dong dong dong. But I do hope you get some rest

Bye for now mm

Having an intellectual conversation with you seems to be an impossibility with all the ding and dong nonsense you keep spewing, and acting like a victim on the basis of some imaginary pokes at you. I'm older than you may think, and I'm not your "son." I may very well be older than you, but, then, age doesn't make one more right or more wrong. What matter is that the Lord is always right.

I like going on the offensive on topics in order to dredge up as much truth from the word of God as can be had and to destroy falsehoods wherever they may rear their ugly heads.

Yeah intellect eh, that's a good subject, comprehension to, being able to comprehend that people need spiritual awareness is more important than human wisdom in this world.

It's like being burdened by something, having the intellect to seek the lord is better way to go really than to try and cope with that all by yourself.

It's takes time for something to sink in, well you never know ,in 3 days time a person could find complete peace from being told something they didn't know.

It's amazing what happens when it comes to the lords ways. He can make a person really smart.

He can do so much for anyone of children, because they hear his ways, they seek all the time, after growing in his ways, and fully realise they need his ways all the time. Yeah it's amazing, and a person doesn't have to bogged down by what the world thinks, regarding public discussions, you can always feel like it's all about a gotcha moment, but it isn't really it's all about maintaining respect and manners in public discussions, it shouldn't be about making someone look bad in public, all tho these things happen, you just have to be a man about it and get over it, so lets move on

And taking responsibility, in just a few days time, just by talking better with manners,.people can start to see a change, and then things can go tickety boo.

Everyone makes mistakes,.the worst thing you can do is not forgive yourself, as that's when a person can turn really nasty, grudges and stuff.

It's like you don't realise that when it comes to forgiving others you also have to forgive yourself.

tactics eh yeah, your a box of tricks when it comes to that one eh.

The truth is you cant admit your errors so you now have to find Error in me to justify your own error, what you don't realise is that when a person is like this, and you reads there posts your reading them as if they where looking in the mirror as they where typing them out.

Devine justice as well can sometime feal like an injustice.
But I tell you your getting close to 77 times you've tried your upmost to create one.

It's the other way round to, your going to have go back and forgive yourself 77 times.

I'm going to answer this in the simplest way I can think of. Yes, it IS possible to lose salvation.

KJV Galatians 5:19-22
19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,

20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,

21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

Revelations also shines a similar light on the subject.

KJV Revelations 21:8
But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

So correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems to me like losing salvation IS possible, if you fall under any of these categories. And yes, repenting and asking for forgiveness is ALWAYS a good idea.
Please don't tell me I'm lost please

I want to repent help me
Repent - in its simplest terms- simply means- To change your mind, to think differently, mainly about who Jesus is and why you should trust Him with your life.. The moment you
absolutely trust, have faith, in Jesus as your Lord and Saviour the Holy Spirit will become active in your life. The problem was and is how our sins are taken care of. If you have trusted Him in the past, but returned to your old ways, you must Confess or name your known sins to God so they can be addressed.

Your life should reflect the change that comes from believing that Jesus did indeed die on the cross for your sins, that He was buried and rose from that grave, and returned to God our true Father in Heaven. He promised to return again, and He will. You will need to pray for strength because none of us can change our insides, our heart and thinking, only Jesus through the Holy Spirit.

You will become acutely aware of each sin, each stumble, but as you use 1-John 1:9 throughout each day, your faith will grow and you will finally have peace with God- and that peace will change the way you view yourself, and the world around you. He will never leave or forsake you, but you must trust Him with every aspect of your life.

God bless you!

Please don't tell me I'm lost please

Don't listen to him/her/it or whatever. It's sad that they can't tell the difference between the Kingdom of God that is yet to come on this earth and salvation. The Kingdom of God is the Millennium. That kingdom is what we Israelis have been looking forward to for Millennia.

Many Gentiles too will enter that kingdom if they refuse the mark of the beast and endure unto the end of the tribulation. That's the nature of that period of time that Paul had no idea when it would come. He could not have known that the dispensation of grace would last 2000+ years, and serves as a dire warning to those who will miss the rapture. That is an indication of Paul's wisdom, knowing that many who know of his gospel, but will miss the rapture, they will have to endure in order to enter that Kingdom.

Also, that reference in Revelation, that's for those who will have been left behind after the body of Christ is been removed from this earth, and THEY who will be left behind will have to endure in works of their own effort to attain salvation in the end. We today are sealed by Holy Spirit when we have come to faith in the death, burial and resurrection of Christ on the third day, and what that has done for us who are in Christ ensures that we will not be here to endure the tribulation period with all those who will not yet be saved at the start of the horrifical period. When you believe Paul's Gospel in 1 Cor. 15:1-4, you are sealed. Those people out there who talk about loss of salvation have not one verse at which they can point that speaks of the seal of Holy Spirit being removed, nor that the Father forfeits His own Spirit after removing what He showed to be permanent by these comparatives.

2 Corinthians 1:22 Who hath also sealed us, and given the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts.

Sealed and given the EARNEST of His own Spirit, meaning that for the Lord to take back salvation from anyone, He would be forfeiting His own Spirit. There are all kinds of slick interpretations people will throw at others in the hopes of getting them to believe the Lord is fickle and untrustworthy, the claims of which makes salvation a matter of works. Let them try to earn and retain their salvation through their own works if they think they can. They believe NOT in the sufficiency in the Blood of Christ.

Ephesians 1:13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,

So now you have seen two proofs for the permanence of salvation. We also have this, which reinforces what is quoted above:

2 Timothy 2:13 If we believe not, yet he abideth faithful: he cannot deny himself.

See that. Some believers have and will traipse off into unbelief, as did the prodigal son, but who also came back and was received because his father was faithful and unwilling to deny even himself. That is the extent of the love the Lord has for us.

Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

That prodigal son, when he returned, he was a changed fella. He was humble rather than proud, and he returned. Those who think themselves empowered to declare loss of salvation should think more deeply about that, for if the Lord will go to extent of taking back salvation from anyone, they too should worry about their salvation right now because we ALL continue to sin on a daily basis. None of us can remember every sin and confess them all in order to ask forgiveness. When it comes down to it, we don't have to ask for forgiveness. That's a creation of religion to think that they can arbitrarily carry that requirement over to us from the Kingdom Gospel people. We are not Kingdom Gospel people. We are under the gospel of grace, which is Paul's gospel given to him by Christ Jesus.

So, our sins and our turning away (those who do that) can and will affect rewards, treasures, with all of it passing through the fire of testing to see what remains...that which we built with. All you have to do is build with precious metals and stones that will not burn in the fires of testing when we stand before Christ. When we are saved, the power of sanctification begins, and all this talk of unbelief and sin, leave that to those people who have not faith in the strength and power of the Blood of Christ, all of it being apart from works and efforts in our flesh. When they dream about salvation lost, they are dreaming of an unknown god who is not the God of the Bible but rather a creation in the minds of those lacking faith.

So the next time you hear someone claim loss of salvation, ask them to whos to you where that line is located. Draw it on a piece of paper and list sins on each side so that they can show to you what THEY think if the point of loss. Their inability to show to you that line is evidence for the fact that they know not at all what they're talking about. They fail to differentiate the difference between outright salvation and the Kingdom that is yet to come upon this earth.

I want to repent help me
well you need to repent for yourself first.
Pursue the lord for peace, if you love him he will give you peace.

Then he's even kind in helping you to forgive yourself.
Coz you see feeling no good about self is a good start, but you have to do then is depending on how much alcohol you consume everyday, whether your alcoholic dependant or whether you can manage to do a cold turkey, is try to stop.

And if your addicted to the hard stuff like whiskey, that's not going to be easy. But what you can do is go to a rehab clinic or a doctor, if it's really bad like being alcohol dependant you need to seek medical. guidance.

And if you don't know your alcohol dependant then you need to find out.

Theres often a cause of turning to drink, do you drink to drown your sorrows,.or do you drink because you just like it.

so are we in the mood for an intellectual discussion today ?

Some have asked how God could ever put forth differing gospels. Well, He did. Jesus and the twelve preached repentance and water baptism up to the cross, the disciples never making any mention of the death and resurrection of Christ until after the cross as an indictment against Israel for what she had done to her own Messiah. Paul preached no such Gospel or water baptism or any other work of effort on the part of the believer.

Some then go on to ask why Paul baptized, and even asked under whom were some baptized, hearing the names of men in whom they were baptized. That was disturbing, and still is to think that those people then and even now fixate on their action of baptism as if it had any measure of efficacy whatsoever for their salvation. Paul, unlike John the Baptist, was not sent to baptize but ONLY to preach his Gospel that pointed ONLY to the death, burial and resurrection on the third day the Lord Jesus Christ. That is the totality of the gospel today, with nothing else added.

Water baptism is all fine and dandy for those who want to make that public declaration, but that's all it is...a declaration of becoming a new creation in Christ Jesus with the old man being buried with the sins of that former self and raising up a new creation.

Then there's the constant yammering about loss of salvation and there allegedly being a singular gospel. That singular gospel nonsense is not only an intellectual dishonesty in admitting the differences in the elements within each of the gospels preached throughout what is called the New Testament, but also considering Paul's objections to those other gospels, although true gospels of good news for the audiences to whom they were relevant, but brought an accursedness upon those who continued to preach those other gospels to those who were Paul's labors in preaching the Gospel of Grace.

If they were all the same gospel message, ignoring the differences, then it would have been very strange for Paul to call anyone else accursed for preaching those other gospels that were not the Gospel he preached. Again, denying the differing elements in the Gospel before the cross, the Gospel after the cross, and the mystery Gospel revealed to Paul, the denials are utter nonsense on the basis of wishful thinking on the part of the individual denier.

ok well firstly God having authority over all creation, means also God sovereignty to me.

Now more importantly is God has authority over me, which means I can truly love Gods sovereignty (authority), because that means nobody else has authority over me.

But now the others reason is about God having authority over me, as long as I respect his authority, then I'm also respecting the authority he has over anyone else.

Because you see its not just about just me, when we talk about God having authority over me, it's also about God having authority over others.

So you see if I was to have authority over somebody else, that could be because I was the manger, and they they where the worker. Also I can have authority over my child over making decisions for the well being of my child.

But what I can't do is have authority over there ways once they leave home and become an adult, I can guide them still.

And i can't have authority over what they believe or there salvation either.

That they must workout for themselves.

However I can guide them.
But that always starts with the milk of the word first.

Now speaking of the mik of the word, because to need because people can start on the meat first when they shouldn't be.

Understanding that Gods sovereignty is as much for me as it is for you, is the first stage to talking about Gods.sovereign will.

Bye for now mm
