If that is you in your avatar then thats lies. You are a pretty young lady. So deal with it =P
It's me... And you made me smile lol
Guess we always see ourselves different than others see us...
Some see themselves as meatloaf babies lol hahaha jk
love you ugly
Culturally it is. I've grown up hearing about it and have even experienced it. Women trying to choose what i will wear. Nudge me, push me, buy something that is what She likes, not what I like. Its a well known mentality. Which actually fits with the psychological approach that women take in a relationship. Which is women look for potential. Expecting to see a man change. But really the whole 'tell a man how to dress' mentality stems from the modern concept of marriage/dating, which is the woman is in charge and the man just says 'yes ma'am' and doesn't argue.
And nope, but someone posted that pic in a thread so, naturally, i had to pick it up and use it since it seemed to disturb people. We all thought it was meatloaf. Finding out its cake kind of takes the fun out of it. : /
Oh! It's a meatloaf baby with a bacon nappy (diaper)? That makes sense now. Not only is it creepy, but also delicious!
Makeup does not make a girl pretty, nor does it even help (In my and Liamsons opinion anyway, perhaps there are others that would disagree with us). That's the idea that sells the stuff but the overwhelming majority of the time, it just diminishes the beauty the woman actually has. It has the opposite effect of the reason it's applied for....lol, it's ironic.
Your friends statement makes absolutely no sense if you have an outlook like me and Liam do......the phrase "They like already naturally pretty girls" implies that makeup can actually help or bestow some type of beauty that isn't "natural"....which I don't buy into at all.
This is why I wear make-up.

Now that that's clear... lol
Yes I wear make-up . I wear it because I feel prettier that way.
No I don't always wear it , but most of the time I do.
The last time I got "hit on" was at a dollar store near my house and I had no make up on...so yes... I go places without makeup sometimes.
I agree with the " if you don't recognize her without it " answer.... that is too much and should be toned down.

Your face with no make up is PRETTIER, period.
Accept the fact and embrace the truth.
If that's freckles I see then BONUS point for you.
I always find girls with freckles cute and sexy.
They are like stars shining across the night sky - so you have all these stars on your face and how COOL is that?
I once saw a girl and her face was literally covered with freckles; thought it was like an entire galaxy displayed in her face.
If my future wife has freckles and she doesn't like them somehow, I will kiss her freckles lovingly every day and night and tell her how much I ADORE her freckles while looking into her eyes. She will know I meant it.
Alexis- you are an absolutely beautiful young lady ... no if, ands, or buts !!!!

I'm really curious... here are some before and after shots of ordinary looking women. You men mean to tell me that you prefer sans-makeup? Be honest!

(By the way, I have tons of freckles myself - I don't really have a big problem with them, but I don't mind covering them up, either. This is more about the eyes.)
Well, it's a weird mentality. I couldn't imagine treating a grown man like a child who can't dress himself.I would not be with someone just to try to change them (it probably doesn't work anyway). But I hear about women (an sometimes men) who do this a lot so I don't doubt that it's common.
(And don't be disappointed... it is meatloaf. xD Cake wrecks is just the name of the blog, but they sometimes show other foods too.)
