We're talking about the official authority bestowed on men in official positions in church, where they can exert that authority, and their role of head of household in their families. I don't know why people keep mixing this up. God wants both men and women to preach the gospel as well as build each other up in day to day life.
I think this issue is important because satan has been trying to upend the order that God set from the very beginning. He himself is doing this because he himself wants to usurp God the Father's authority which is the highest over all. This is why he attacks the order God set for His people.
Notice how he approached Eve instead of Adam to initiate the sin. And he succeeded. So this has been a sin he promotes ever since he wanted the authority of God the Father for himself. I don't want to be a part of any of that and urge other Christians too to not fall prey to it either.

Are you really claiming on a public forum that all male nurses are gay? Are you really that much of a fool?
I lean toward the understanding that 1Tim2 is speaking specifically to wives in concern to their husbands, consdering the final verse in that chapter which footnote reveals
"d Literally, She, however, will be saved"
and, the verse conclusion is... "if they (my emphasis) continue in faith, love, and holiness, with self-control"
To me, the "they" isn't so cut and dryly referring back to women but seems rather more relevantly referring back to the husband and wife pair.

I did consider it as a potential career option when in HS. Decided against it and don't like male nurses. As far as that goes, I'm not too fond of MDs either.

There's no issue in outing a specific individual who has committed a crime (though better to wait until he is convicted), but slandering every person in a category because of the sin of a few is prejudicial, unjust, and possibly illegal.
Slander is individual. Yes, I'm prejudicial about a few things and people. But I agree that a conviction before exposure is wise. I have a list of those criminals and I believe that God will bring them to justice.

I didn't say they were gay I said the guys are not good caregivers and sometimes woman aren't either. Think of your childhood which of your parent were easier to annoy first? Who rose their voice first? It's not mother it's usually the dad with the belt. The mother is the comforter. Even though people are trying to change the order of in modern society. It's dysfunctional. It must be the devil that makes us humans want to change what God has made straight there we are trying to make cooked and what he made crooked we try to straighten. It's impossible if its not his will.

Jesus clearly had no problem with The Samaritan Woman teaching in John Chapter 4.
1what translation is it? I would very much like to read it and it would also settle this debate if this translation is in fact true
