I think he's going to quickly find out that mayors don't really have as much power as he thinks they do.
Free daycare... free transportation.... replace police with social workers... not in a million years. Communist or no communist, it's not going to happen.

He is going to find out some other things as well. Campaigning to appeal to those who want free things has a price to pay. There will be a lot of people leaving the city, I have already heard that real estate agents are getting swamped with people looking to move out of NYC and a lot of parents are also investigating how to pull their kids from public school by the end of this semester.

New York City is an extremely tough town to manage. I wonder how he will do? Also wondering about the New Yorkers who voted for him? A lot of self-hating NYC Jews are die-hard democrats. Did they really vote for him?!??

It must be that Shakira law he wants to pass that made him so attractive to them..... 😂

One thing about this, when this moslem starts instituting sharia law in NYC, we'll see if Trump actually has any courage or not.

That would be advocating the overthrow of the US government and the Constitution so Trump would need to deport this guy IF Trump has any guts.

If Trump does nothing then it shows that America First is just another fraud.

In answer to my own question, this what the wiki for his page says:

Many Jewish leaders and voters, however, remained critical of Mamdani.[85]

Like I said, self-hating Jews and that why they're still in NYC and not in Israel defending their homeland. I speak from experience and can say they're a lot of fun to hang out with, but a lot of them wished they weren't born Jews.

I agree but with the nuance that he'll at least try and in trying he'll get something or at least break the great stagflation and cultural and political stagnation, thus playing into my keeping vote where it is towards a Golden Age of sorts. Not that Mamdani will be the king of the Golden Age anymore than Trump is, but rather pieces on the board to catalyze the overthrow of the Old World Order and the ushering in of the Golden Age, but of course I will praise Jesus either way honestly no matter what scenario unfolds.
