Firearm-related violent crimes in Florida have dropped by one-third in just four years, 2007 to 2011, while concealed carry permits jumped by 90 percent in that period. Further, violent crime of any kind dropped almost as much, 26 percent.

The Clackamas mall shooting in Oregon after the Aurora movie theater shooting was stopped by a concealed carry permit holder. He didn't have to fire a single shot, the assailant blew his own brains out instead of face resistance. A lot less people died that day.


This guy though... he sounds unhinged, which is unfortunate.
