Getting people to understand the simplicity of the revelation of the Christ.
I yearn for people to embrace the simplicity of God’s grace through faith in Jesus Christ.

God has given his adopted children many choices to make, as they live their lives here on earth, but their eternal inheritance is not their choice, but God's choice by his sovereign grace.

So you're saying God created a people with no choice, they were created for destruction. I don't see anywhere where the Bible teaches that.

OP headline:
Many are called but few are chosen

Matt 22:14 "Many are called but few are chosen"

Context is always KEY! Below Vine's Greek to English bible dictionary lists 7 meaning based on context used: 5 times as a verb, once a noun & in Matt 22:14 an adjective.

I listed eklektos/Greek to chosen/English 1st

Vine's Expository Dictionary of New Testament Words: Choice, Choose, Chosen
[ Adjective,G1588, eklektos ]
akin to A, No. 1, signifies "chosen out, select,"

Additional context:

Jn 12:32 Jesus said" if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw ""all"" men unto me
(MY NOTE: Jesus was lifted up on cross & most importantly from the grave. Everyone born post resurrection will be drawn/CALLED. Only those that place their faith/trust in Christ's sin atoning death, burial & resurrection will be/are the Select/CHOSEN or Elect see G1589 below)

In short, all will hear, few will believe & trust in Christ's sin atoning work & resurrection.

[ Verb,G1586, eklego ]
to pick out, select," means, in the Middle Voice, "to choose for oneself," not necessarily implying the rejection of what is not chosen, but "choosing" with the subsidiary ideas of kindness of favor or love,

[ Verb,G1951, epilego ]
in the Middle Voice, signifies "to choose," either in addition or in succession to another.

[ Verb,G138, haireo ]
"to take," is used in the Middle Voice only, in the sense of taking for oneself, choosing, 2 Thessalonians 2:13, of a "choice" made by God (as in Deuteronomy 7:6-Deuteronomy 7:7; Deuteronomy Its special significance is to select rather by the act of taking, than by showing preference or favor.

[ Verb,G140, hairetizo ]
akin to the verbal adjective hairetos, "that which may be taken" (See No.3), signifies "to take," with the implication that what is taken is eligible or suitable; hence, "to choose," by reason of this suitability,

[ Verb,G4401, procheirotoneo ]
signifies "to choose before,"

Notes: (1) For procheirizo See APPOINT, No. 12.

(2) Stratologeo, in 2 Timothy 2:4 (AV, "chosen to be a soldier"), signifies to enroll as a soldier (RV). See SOLDIER.

[ Noun,G1589, ekloge ]
akin to A, No. 1 and B, "a picking out, choosing" (Eng., "eclogue"), is translated "chosen" in Acts 9:15, lit., "he is a vessel of choice unto Me." In the six other places where this word is found it is translated "election." See ELECTION.

There are two serious problems with God predetermining a person's salvation.

The first problem is that the nation of Israel was chosen, was elect, yet Israel was grafted out of the tree of life. How can God's election of Israel fail?

The second problem is that Christianity is in decline worldwide. Is this because God is selecting far fewer people to save?

Well, two points, God said He can graft them back again. And perhaps we are in the age of the end of Gentiles coming in.

No one was disrespecting him, he chose to take offense.
I wasn’t paying attention to any specific interactions but was generalizing as to whether or not there are expectations of Christians affording respect to others and my mind went to the Golden Rule. 😊

Matt 7: 21 " Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven, but he that doeth the will of my Father, who is in heaven." ,
Jesus has a kingdom on earth which is his church. His church is called by several names, such as; The kingdom of heaven, the new Jerusalem, The church of the first born, The church in the wilderness, The church of God,. The church of Christ, The bride of Christ, etc.
There is a universal, or invisible church, that is comprised of all of God's elect,(many are called) and there is a visible church comprised of those elect to whom the Holy Spirit has revealed the knowledge of Jesus finished work on the cross (but few are chosen to understand the finished work of Christ, the remnant, the little flock, etc)

All of God's elect have an inheritance of heaven, but some of them are not allowed membership in the visible church, due to their behaviour.

I hope this may help your confusion, and not add to it

Isn't that disrespectful and proudful for a Christian?
It's disrespectful and snide.
The worst personality type will then accuse the one they insult of choosing to be insulted by the words the offender chooses to use as weapons.
Take what they're showing you as proof of Jesus warning you they are there.
There are many here.

What I'm saying is that man does have a choice if he responds to the Father's will by obedience to His Holy Spirit.
God has given mankind the freedom to choose how he wants to live his life here on earth, but his eternal inheritance is given by God's sovereign grace, without any action on mankind's part, however the scriptures teach that those who have been born again, when they commit a sin, can get delivered (saved=delivered) from that sin by repenting. This is a deliverance that they receive as they sojourn here on earth.

Many of God's born again children of God interpret all salvation (a deliverance) scriptures as having reference to eternal deliverance, and the result of them doing so, is the rendancy of them believing that mankind has to work for their eternal salvation (deliverance).

There is an sternal deliverance, which is given by God's sovereign grace, and there is a deliverance here on earth for his adopted children that is earned by their good works.

What I'm saying is that man does have a choice if he responds to the Father's will by obedience to His Holy Spirit.
Only if he's NOT a Calvinist. Calvinists have no CHOICE AT ALL about anything (The "I" in TULIP).

And "Love" in Biblical context, appears to be in terms of OBEDIENCE, not necessarily any sort of "Feeling".

Like in John 21 Jesus puts Peter on the spot and asks "Lovest thou me (Agape)", and Peter essentially answers "not really" (Phileo), I'm Fond of you. Jesus' SOLUTION to the disparity is "Feed my Sheep". This indicates that the process of Dealing with His people, will create in Peter, the "Agape" - which we do see later in Peter's writings as he matured.

At risk of my being completely hypocritical, I am reminded of the Golden Rule.
Do to others what you would have them do to you... How is that a comand to respect one who is continually in error.
Maybe one would have someone rebuke them strongly for continued error.

When saved I trusted in Jesus a while back, but being filled with the Holy Spirit, I believe , has occurred in the last few years.

F.Y.I.
We receive the indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit when Sanctified believers gather around us, lay hands on us, and pray over us.........The Apostle Paul showed this in Acts.

Reveiving the indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit does not need "years" to occur. So, I am not sure what you were "filled with." However, IF you have NOT had Sanctified believers gather around you, lay hands on you, and pray over you to receive the indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit.......you DO NOT have the indwelling presence of the Holy Spirit....

Might wanna studdy and work on that
Sounds like salvation by works to me.

We can always rebuke in a respectful manner; whether or not we do so is simply a choice each one of us make. Again I say that I’m being hypocritical because there are many times I’m not respectful. The good news is we are all a work in progress.

Yes amen hearing the gospel gives mankind that choice
Hearing the gospel does not contribute to a person's eternal deliverance, however, when a born again child of God hears the gospel it can deliver him as he sojourns here on earth.

Free will, you betcha!!!!!!!!!!! God didn't create us in the image of robots. Every day of our lives we'll be faced with choices, God's way or Satan's way, life or death, salvation or damnation. When we make these choices keep your eyes open and your mind clear. When we makeyour decisions, reach out your hand for what you choose and know for sure that 'what you choose' is what you'll receive.
God sets before us life and death, and says choose life, that you and your offspring may live, You are not rightly dividing the word if you are taking "life" in this verse to mean eternal life. God has made available a good and peaceful life that we can live right here in the midst of the world corruption, if the born again child of God will choose to follow God's instructions for his children.

God has given his born again children the freedom to choose as to how they want to live their lives here on earth, but their eternal deliverance was made by God's sovereign grace, without any action on man's part..

If you see me be wrong then go ahead and explain my error to me
And receive the same abuse you've afforded already when others already have? No. You can only be let to behave against Christians as you do if we give you leave.

I won't.
