MissCris, I'm going to be pretty jealous if you've someone found shoes with Velcro flaps (no laces) in adult sizes -- I have been on the prowl for them since my feet outgrew my childhood pairs and if you've found a source without telling me, things could get ugly.

I have not accomplished this...feat. Haha. I did find some super cheap shoes at Wal-Mart that didn't have laces OR velcro, but they LOOKED like they should have laces. So I bought them. And wore them until they fell apart. I can't find them anymore, probably because they were stupid, so I just wear flip-flops pretty much all year round now.

y not. its just a scarf. keeps u warm and makes u stylish too. korean males use it for fashion.

Haha! That's not what I meant, although it also applies. What I was trying to say (in a sensitive manner) was that skinny jeans are so tight they can cut off the blood-flow to certain areas of the body needed to create children.

You can still have children and wear skinny jeans. Marry someone who else wears skinny jeans lol

And now for something completely disturbing (yet relevant)....

Besides, he could just be changing up his style to do something different ... That makes people stand out .. Just look a lady ga ga.. maybe?

noooooo don't look. it might not all be covered!

I asked this very same question!!!! a few weeks ago when keven costner was in a bunch of pictures wearing "fashion" scarfs. Does this make men think they look "cool" ??? Like when they wear little knit hats as they play in a band and contemplate writing songs??
I'm kevin costner's age and think he is handsome but he looks (IMO) silly wearing a fashion scarf just like those little knitted hat wearers in warm weather. I agree with those of you who said fashion should also be functional. Oh, P.S. can't help but think of men's ties.... what function is that??? But men look very nice in ties.... sooo i guess fashion is not always functional... but i still don't like the scarf and knit hat look.. :)

Irrelevant. The query concerns MEN who wear scarves.

I vote that if it is cold, fashion goes out the window. Survival first. If you want to look fashionable while surviving, this is permissible. But this also means that your scarf can be both unitasker and multitasker.

A scarf without a cold-weather top, such as a jacket, coat, or sweater...it looks out of place and unbalanced on your body. And if it's warm enough to not need a jacket, yet you wear a scarf, you just come off looking like a schmuck. That's my opinion, anyhow.

And all you nay-sayers on bow-ties, try living a good chunk of your professional life in a tux sometime. When you're in it as often as I am, you go and buy a tux that FITS RIGHT with a classic cut, and suddenly that bow-tie becomes the icing on the cake.

WIN.

Now I'm curious what you do that requires a tux...

Maybe I meant that scarves and shoe laces are both unnecessary.

I don't really know, my editor took the day off and left me to my own devices.

My friend Michael says that I'm his conscience, and when I'm not at school with him, he says things he shouldn't. Is it kinda like that?

Men wearing scarves? If it's cold, fine. Whatevs. That Justin Bieber nonsense... that just looked stupid. But if he wants to look stupid, let him. It gets him press, he needs it to sell CDs and other pointless items.

Here's the other side of this magical coin. Not all women look good in scarves too! It's a fact people, sad but true.

I was never aware that anyone viewed scarves as unmasculine?? Isn't their primary function to keep you warm in winter?

Scarves are the female connotation and are for girls
Bandanas are for men... and they bring out the eyes when we rob trains

why in the world is that guy wearing a scarf or a yashmagh on his head? Looks dumb and someone should teach him about fashion. I understand there is probably some cultural bruhaha there...but Im feeling particularly spicy this morning and the thread was scarves not headwraps.

I don't know, maybe it's because Arab and a lot of Middle Eastern people from which the yashmagh originates from have only worn them the last century in this manner and style? Before the West made them into a 'fashion accessory'. You should learn your history and culture, before making stupid statements.

Nah i was just implying i dont care about the history of my fashion options. It used to be headgear? Cool thats highly unimportant.

It's a lot like that. Except, my conscience doesn't take days off, just the part of my brain that filters out the extreme nonsense and helps me to make some kind of sense. Yep, yep.

LOL ok heres a joke in response to this. What does a cheap hotel and skinny jeans have in common? No ball room.
