Shouldn't we do this the whole year.
Many times people are not receptive to a presentation of the gospel in any form, this is a time of year when there may be some opportunities even with them.

It can be a good conversation starter. Especially to reveal truth.

Indeed and today a random doctor at my job was very receptive.

For some reason this verse came to mind during this season " Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God " because I've had an amazing experience to share faith and Jesus Christ with a doctor who was very spiritual but could not express anything at work, but he did express himself outside of work when i met him to fix his computer.
We talked for over 8 hours with no food and we were filled.

From Matthew 4:4

From Acts 17:26 - 28
:)
This is one of my favorite Christmas verses:

Luke 2:14

King James Version

14 Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.

The glory goes to God for sure for Jesus' birth. And, we certainly desire the Prince of Peace to bring peace to people of good will in our age and the one to come when He returns as our King!

Must be nice.

My doctors are usually like: "You're fat. That'll be $200."
Haha, yeah most of them are like that, i am surrounded by them on a daily basis. But the ones who are not doing things mechanically and are usually in higher positions are more thoughtful.
This doctor is actually the head of the department and a scientist because he has done some amazing work on cancer treatments.
Because he knows so much from a scientific perspective, he is also arriving at spiritual perspectives. As i've mentioned many times here, Science glorifies God, whether scientists realize it or not.
Most of them don't talk about it loudly because it's a career-ending move for them, and this is why i got a chance to talk to him for over 8 hours in his house when i went over to fix his computer on the weekend which he appreciated because it's outside business hours obviously.
He also sent me a few texts after and he said that "i feel very inspired by what you shared with me".
I feel like this was meant to be because when i fixed his computer on Friday, i knew that there would be something else for which he'd call me again (because he's a super geek) and he did call me on Saturday (i gave him my number) and that's when he was more comfortable to share a lot of things with me and open up.

God is the ultimate Scientist. Just look at the order in the cosmos and our own planet (minus our negative impact, of course). It's mathematics in motion!

And the honest scientific mind strives for logic and sound reason based on evidence and fact-based, data driven information.

In a Bible study group I facilitated a number of years ago, I had a brain surgeon as one of the participants. He was probably the easiest one for me to work with, especially on controversial issues or difficult areas of scripture, because he was so rational. I just used facts from the Bible and the ultimate fact that creation requires a Creator, and he became more faith-based as our group tackled some difficult subjects. Of course, the Holy Spirit was our primary inspiration.

The challenge is capturing those moments of receptivity and tailoring the gospel using the appropriate language and personal experience to effectively witness to others.
