This may just be a picky personal preference of mine, but when I'm messaging back and forth with someone, eventually there are so many messages the words are stacked vertically, which is a tad annoying and obviously is almost impossible to read. Is there some sort of setting... something that can change this? I know it's a small minute thing, but I thought I'd ask.

Yes. It's called highlight and delete.
Just select the portions you want to remove and hit backspace. There is no automatic way to do this.

I specifically prefaced my question because of you, Ugly. Duly noted, unfortunately my backspace button on my keyboard has been replaced with a pizza bite. As a matter of fact all of my buttons have been replaced with pizza bites. Maybe I should resolve this issue before tackling another? I have gained a completely new perspective.

Yep. I usually do that after every three messages, or thereabouts.

Drives me nuts too. Even worse when i'm on my phone and it's much harder to highlight the things i want to get rid of. Argh!

That's exactly why I asked, actually! Funny, you mentioned that. I've never had to use CC on mobile, like on a regular basis, and I noticed it was much more difficult. Adding pictures to threads is pretty much impossible as well, but we won't talk about that.

If you scroll to the bottom of the Mobile version there is a link that takes you to the full site. I never use the mobile version.

It's not possible with a link, but it is if you put it on your phone and I have it on full site.

If your backspace key does not work, any other key will accomplish the same thing once you highlight the parts you want to delete. The only difference is that the backspace key does not make a character while any other key will, but the important thing is to eliminate the unwanted text from the series of back and forth messages.
