Ever been annoyed to the degree that you can't find a swear word good enough to express how you feel so all you got left verbally is hissing like a cat....I've been there lol.

I keep my car radio off, like you have said, distracting. I believe that CD's are obsolete. Never heard of spotify.

I find myself getting annoyed often but refrain from swearing. I might incorporate that cat hissing idea into my repertoire.

My pizza the other night was a disaster! I had to say "Oops!" twice because it fell apart
during construction (totally my fault), and while removing it from the oven. Tongs helped
me rescue it LOL. However, it had the same great taste and nutritional value as always :) Yum!

Not sure why I admit to reading Dork Diaries on here lol

Ok I read Dork Diaries.

Sometimes you need to read something light and funny. I am not a book snob. I know some librarians and teachers can be. Like people arent allowed to read comics.

Growing up I can remember many trips on my bicycle pedaling to different stores to get the latest comic books. I was into mostly DC comics.

Where we moved in Tennessee is one of the most windy places I ever remember living as it can howl sometimes. Plus the wind chimes I bought are constantly moving and it's a nice sound to listen to as we sit on the porch and watch the birds eating at the feeders.
I actually love the sound of the wind when it’s not bedtime. Sounds like your porch is a lovely place to be. :)

I found out that Jagged Little Pill, one of the albums from the 90s by Alanis Morrisette, has now been made into a totally woke musical.

?!

I remember I used to listen to that album religiously but I gave away all my CDs so dont have it anymore. It had 13 songs on it and I would know every word. I saw Alanis in concert but all I remember was she liked to spin around a lot and wave her long hair.

She grew up catholic, but it seems she is now buddhist. She was 19 when she wrote those songs and they were, at the time, like the zeitgist because they were confessional and didnt shy away from the pain, rage and confusion while expressing how you felt about bad relationships. For a woman to actually have an opinion was radical...it still is. Rather than to suffer in silence or take a chill pill like we are told.

what a release it was for gen xers to sing her songs although some likened her to a wailing banshee. But you gotta let it out somehow.

You live, you learn.

It really is right now as we have several bunches of Spring flowers that are out and making the place look lovely and most always have birds at the feeders. It's been a little too cold to sit on the porch last couple of days but have had some nice ones to sit and enjoy the nature.

I've seen a few robins over the past week. It won't be long now and I'll be serenading the squirrels again! :)

Our ornamental cherry trees blossomed just over a couple of weeks ago :)

The magnolia trees are coming to bloom, now, too :D

I feed the squirrels peanuts. Helps keep those critters away from the bird feeders. Of course, the blue jays eat most of the nuts.
