Yes, I knew this man while he lived. We used to share some studies. One great man. We grew apart when he went into areas I wasnt working in. Yes, he shared his findings with me. I am going to post something I shared with Chuck so many years go. Have to go search for it.

Feeding of the 4 & 5 Thousand--Miracle of Multiplication
Lord does nothing without foretelling his servants the future. Take Malachi 4:2 for example.
But for you who fear my name the sun of righteousness shall rise, with healing in its wings ( or rays ). You shall go forth leaping like calves from the stall (grave).

I see this scripture as being meant for the Hebrews and telling of a future resurrection. On that Passover weekend I also see a time element being spoken. Notice the word sun and not son. Not an error in translation; Lord was saying the sun being made on the fourth day, predicted his entry and coming into Jerusalem on that Passover after 4000 years, also the revolution of the year.
Parables and stories are there to alert us things which are shortly coming to pass and for me none is greater than the story of the feeding of the 4 and 5 thousand.

“Why do you discuss the fact that you have no bread? Do you not yet perceive or understand? Are your hearts hardened? 18 Having eyes do you not see, and having ears do you not hear? And do you not remember? 19 When I broke the five loaves for the five thousand, how many baskets full of broken pieces did you take up?” They said to him, “Twelve.” 20 “And the seven for the four thousand, how many baskets full of broken pieces did you take up?” And they said to him, “Seven.” 21 And he said to them, “Do you not yet understand?” Mark 8

What a question? Do you not understand? Well, first the baskets. From the Greek manuscripts we see a portent concering the baskets. The basket used to feed the 5000 was a kophino, and the basket used to feed the 4000 was a spuris. This holds true in all 4 gospels whenever the baskets are mentioned, as well in the book of Acts. The kophino basket used to feed the 5000 was jewish because when the people followed Jesus across Lake Galilie he was asked questions only a jew was asked, such as, " Our ancestors ate manna in the wilderness

As for the basket used to feed the 4000, Jesus had left the area of Tyre and Sidon in Lebanon and approached the area of Decapolis. Decapolis was a group of ten cities given to the Greeks for their assistance during the times of conquering the territory. When Apostle Paul was fleeing Damascus, he was let down over the wall in a spuris basket---A Gentile basket in a Gentile city. So we can easily say the kophino basket used to feed the 5000 was jewish and the spuris basket used to feed the 4000 was Gentile. Strongs Concordance for kophino is #2894 and for spuris #4711.

continued

Now to the feeding of the 4 & 5 thousand. If the Lord had wanted,He could have made it come out to the very crumb as to what was needed to feed the multitude. The miracle was the multiplication of food and we will feed them just as Jesus did! The jews were fed with 5 loaves and 2 fish, and the gentiles with 7 loaves and a few (2) fish.

Feeding of the 5000
5 loaves times 2 fish = 10
5000 divided by 10 = 500 ( Lord divided it among the 5000)
500 times 12 baskets left over = 6000 ( Blessings multiplied)
6000 years

For in so many days the world was made, in so many thousand years shall it be concluded. Irenaeus, taught by Polycarp a hearer of Apostle John

Attend, my children, to the meaning of this expression, He finished in six days. This implies that the Lord will finish all things in six thousand years, for a day is with Him a thousand years. And He Himself testifies, saying, Behold, today will be as a thousand years. Therefore, my children, in six days, that is, in six thousand years, all things will be finished. And He rested on the seventh day. This means: when His Son, coming [again], shall destroy the time of the wicked man, and judge the ungodly, and change the-sun, and the moon, and the stars, then shall He truly rest on the seventh day. Barnabas--named an apostle in Acts 14

Feeding of the 4000
7 loaves times 2 fish = 14
4000 divided by 14 = 285.7143
Blessing left over are multiplied
7 baskets left over times 285.7143 =2000
2000 years
This is the number of years till his return. This time is called--The time of the gentiles, all are gentile christians concerning this story of the 4000..

Not an error in translation; Lord was saying the sun being made on the fourth day, predicted his entry and coming into Jerusalem on that Passover after 4000 years, also the revolution of the year.
So you think the LORD made the Sun on the fourth day? Do you think the earth is flat also? Just asking...

Gen 1:14 And God said, “Let there be lights in the vault of the sky to separate the day from the night, and let them serve as signs to mark sacred times, and days and years, 15 and let them be lights in the vault of the sky to give light on the earth.” And it was so. 16 God made two great lights—the greater light to govern the day and the lesser light to govern the night. He also made the stars. 17 God set them in the vault of the sky to give light on the earth, 18 to govern the day and the night, and to separate light from darkness. And God saw that it was good. 19 And there was evening, and there was morning—the fourth day.

No, the earth is not flat

Ok, good, I appreciate your response since you sanctified the your Lord by giving a reason for the hope in you.

If you will, could you please explain what you considered the light was that God saw on the first day? I am not trying to prove you right or wrong, merely trying to understand how you reached your interpretation. Would you agree that Genesis 1:1 represents that the heaven and the earth were created in the same instant?

And I do apologize if this too far off topic.

I am going to pass on your question tho a good one. I would agree heavens and earth were created same instant

I would agree heavens and earth were created same instant
I think they erred when they changed the term heaven into heavens so that they could obtain a copyright on their Bibles since it conveys the idea that multiverses were created. Seeing that there would have only been one expanse of space (heaven) of matter (earth) that laid the foundation for what would become by the end of the first day would for a practical purposes our known and observed universe, Maybe the light that God saw was the darkness upon the face of the deep.

The word "universe" originates from the Latin universum, meaning "all things," "whole," or "entire". It is derived from universus, a combination of uni- (one) and versus (turned), literally translating to "turned into one" or "combined into one," signifying the totality of existence as a single entity

Have you noticed no months or days are included with one's birth or death??
Remember genesis is written from the story about creation that God told him on the Mount , and isnt written by those before the flood.

i only say this to suggest the possibility that this simply wasn’t a relevant point to God and we’re actually not getting many details at all on most subjects in the first sections regarding he times of the flood

theres a lot of missing details. Yet he had already given the way to keep the times and seasons days and months and seasons and years at creation. It’s possible that if we had first hand accounts from the relevant time periods many more details would be included . Even then birthdays and months arent really recorded often so it could just be irrelevant to the information God purposes man to know from scripture

it seems God is very deliberate in the information he gives man and when and how he reveals it to us

God's creation calendar beginning on 6th day
Even going backwards from the birth of Christ what the world knows of actual time today and its origin date relies on Egyptian records of time keeping and of course or even possibly older ancient Chinese records ….. of course those of us who look to scripture there’s really no way to decipher true dates based on when Adam was either created and in the garden . Or beginning when he was removed and barred from it after transgression when they began to procreate

scientifically it’s going to rely on ancient textual records of Egyptian society at least until other reliable older sources that make a claim about date keeping that early , emerges somehow .

The primary "beat" of Genesis 5 is the repetition of the phrase "and he died." By stripping away specific dates and keeping the focus on the massive spans of years, the author emphasizes the sheer weight of time and the inevitability of death. It creates a "rhythm of mortality" where the specific day of the week doesn't matter as much as the fact that the curse of Genesis 3 is being fulfilled generation after generation.

And where does the Creator give such evidence? I cannot think of any culture that does not recognize the difference between day and night, but that is hardly a calendar.

Leviticus.
His calendar has months and days, seasons and years, and is lunar-based.

How about--do you see the connection between Adam being made on the sixth day with the Lord taking animals and making clothes for Adam and Eve performing the first blood sacrifice and the Lord being the final blood sacrifice on the sixth day of the week

He died on the 4th day, not the 6th.
He then rose after 3 days and 3 nights ((in the same year lol)) on the 8th day, the 1st day of the week that followed. Firstfruits, always an 8th day, newness of life. after rest, stillness and quietness.

the 4th day is the day He set the stars in the sky, and the moon and the sun, saying, "let them be for lights in the firmament of the heavens to give light on the earth"

if the eternal God created the heaven and the earth, then wouldn't the heaven and the earth be eternal since God had created them? After all. a good tree bringing forth good fruit, so wouldn't the eternal bring forth the eternal?

is everything we make, human?

He has created all things, yet calls the things which are seen, temporary, and says that His eternal qualities are seen by those temporal things.
