People come in three types.
The first are those that love model railways and enjoy the hobby.
The second would love to but lack of space, or funds or family commitments mean they dont have one at the moment.
The third are those who dont know they like model railways yet. They just need to discover the hobby for themselves.

The second would love to but lack of space, or funds or family commitments mean they dont have a collection at the moment.
The third are those who don't know they like old coins yet. They just need to discover the hobby for themselves.

When I was little I had a coin collection. One day I spent it all on penny candy. There were certain candies that I discovered that I really didn't care for.
 
I find it odd that some in the past have thought that because I like trains that I could be autistic, but as everyone likes trains, even those who dont know it yet, this is not the case. Someone even gave me this odd online test to do. I did try it but one can't go by the accuracy of such tests as there is nothing wrong with me. I just like trains! :D
P.S. Tests are frustrating... Makes ones safety valve blow!
 
Oh I love model trains!! When I was a kid it was my dream to have a huge train set in the basement with buildings and people and cars and stuff... When I was around 4 we had a neighbor who had one of those big sets and it had lighted buildings and some lighted signs too. I thought it was the coolest thing in the world!

My parents got me a little HO set one christmas which had an engine, one car and a caboose and it had a circular track that we set up around the christmas tree and I would save up my allowance so I could buy more cars and more track, but it never got to be much of a set. I had a small N gauge set once too. Do they still sell N gauge trains??
 
Yes. N gauge is still popular. I have 00 (The UK version of H0) and 0-16.5 (See pics. The UK version of 0n30) as I can make my own things as it is much cheaper.
