About who is entitled to what land, that goes by 10 commandment, thou shall not murder, steal, covet. We don't invade into our neighbors land, murder them, send them out as refugees, and claim our neighbor s land is ours. That is pure evil.

Every piece of property has owner.
Isnt that what the Israelites did in order to take the promised land?

Not a promised land for unbelievers. Please see many people s explanation about it base on scripture.

Yes they murder, steal, robbery, genocide....

Jesus was prophesying that Jerusalem would not see him again until he came back, not as a lowly preacher from Galilee, but as the king of Israel.

Nevertheless I must walk to day, and to morrow, and the day following: for it cannot be that a prophet perish out of Jerusalem. O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, which killest the prophets, and stonest them that are sent unto thee; how often would I have gathered thy children together, as a hen doth gather her brood under her wings, and ye would not! Behold, your house is left unto you desolate: and verily I say unto you, Ye shall not see me, until the time come when ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord. Luke 13:33-35

That prophecy was fulfilled what appears to be 3 days later when Jerusalem saw Jesus descending the Mt of Olives as his disciples glorified him as the king of Israel.

And when [Jesus] was come nigh, even now at the descent of the mount of Olives, the whole multitude of the disciples began to rejoice and praise God with a loud voice for all the mighty works that they had seen; Saying, Blessed be the King that cometh in the name of the Lord: peace in heaven, and glory in the highest. Luke 19:37-38

Only one problem with that...we are not looking for the king of israel...we're looking for the KING OF kings LORD of lords

Another bit of evidence that "Blessed is he that comes in the name of the lord" was fulfilled when Jesus' disciples glorified him as king of Israel as he approached Jerusalem is what the pharisees said, and then Jesus said in response.

That phrase is actually a prophesy found in Psalms 118

Blessed be he that cometh in the name of the LORD: we have blessed you out of the house of the LORD. Psalms 118:26

It was a prophecy because after Jesus' disciples recited that verse and the pharisees complained, Jesus said the rocks would have cried it out to fulfill the prophecy if his disciples had not.

And some of the Pharisees from among the multitude said unto him, Master, rebuke thy disciples. And [jesus] answered and said unto them, I tell you that, if these should hold their peace, the stones would immediately cry out. Luke 19:39-40

Very good reading, yes, special time special commands by God. If you read carefully, in ot, God only tell isrealites particular time, place , particular wiping out a town, which is not to be repeated as a general rule.

Only God's commandments such as the 10 are general rule.

But wiping out town of jericho, ai,... is case by case special instructions. Please notice not every town God said to wipe out. Case by case.

Just as God told Abraham to sacrifice his son, a special instruction for a short time, not a general rule. Actually the general rule is just opposite, no human sacrificing. God is very much against it.

Yes, but it was permitted because God was judging the gods of the land to take away their dominion over it so that he could set up his kingdom with his law that would ultimately judge his son allowing for the salvation of the world. There is no need or justification for that kind of thing now.

Jesus said, the abomination that causes desolation would result in horrors unequelled since the creation of the world, and would never been seen again. If those days were not cut short, no one would survive, but for the sake of the elect they will be shortened.
In revelation 8 it states a third of the land and trees will be burned up. Will this happen outside of God's will?

No because he will be judging the gods of the world. When I said there's no need for that kind of thing now I meant in regards to him having his own earthly nation. His nation now has no borders.

So God has yet to fulfill his purposes with horrors unseen since the creation of the world
Incidentally, the abomination that causes desolation is already on earth, worrying times

Jesus said, the abomination that causes desolation would result in horrors unseen since the creation of the world and would never be seen again, it would result in darkness:

The first angel sounded his trumpet, and there came hail and fire mixed with blood, and it was hurled down on the earth. A third of the earth was burned up, a third of the trees were burned up, and all the green grass was burned up. Rev8:7

The fourth angel sounded his trumpet, and a third of the sun was struck, a third of the moon, and a third of the stars, so that a third of them turned dark. A third of the day was without light, and also a third of the night. Verse12

What is the abomination that causes desolation?

I saw a programme once. If there was a nuclear war amongst the main countries to posess those weapons(main countries) the result would be, a cloud would cover one third of the earth, the sun and moon would not therefore shine on one third of the earth, one third of the earth would be covered in darkness. A third of the land and trees would be burned up

It would be a horror unequalled since the creation of the world

Never has been

I will therefore put you in remembrance, though ye once knew this, how that the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed them that believed not. Jude 1:5
But with whom was he grieved forty years? was it not with them that had sinned, whose carcases fell in the wilderness? And to whom sware he that they should not enter into his rest, but to them that believed not? So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief. Hebrews 3:17-19

The land is core to Judaism, but not to the faith of Christ. The apostles were raised under the teachings of the pharisees, as all Israelites at that time were, but they abandoned any fixation on earthly things once they came into the full knowledge of the truth.

The land was promised and given to Jesus. No one but he is entitled to it

In the same day the LORD made a covenant with Abram, saying, Unto thy seed have I given this land, from the river of Egypt unto the great river, the river Euphrates: Genesis 15:18
Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ. Galatians 3:16
The Father loveth the Son, and hath given all things into his hand. John 3:35

Who belongs there now, or who belongs there in the future? I don't think he really cares who lives there now, but the resurrected Israel, the true Israel, whom he will bring with him when he returns, will live there forever.
ChristRoseFromthedead, you never let me down, as I know you will aways have an answer for me, but I think your response to what Jesus meant when he said, "you will not see me again" is a bit of a stretch. For some reason you bolded, "“Nevertheless I must walk today, and tomorrow, and the day following: for it cannot be that a prophet perish out of Jerusalem.” I am not sure how you interpret that, but the verse "“Nevertheless I must walk today, and tomorrow, and the day following" is a Semitic idiom meaning, "my mission continues for the appointed time". Then "It cannot be that a prophet perishes outside Jerusalem” is simply "Jerusalem has become the city that kills God’s messengers". So, He is essentially saying, "My death is not random. It must happen in the city where God meets His people—and where His people reject Him." His people in this context are the Jews who rejected Him in Jerusalem. Then following right after that, He says, "For I tell you, you will not see me again until you say, ‘Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.’” Context is key, and it is clear Jesus is referring Jews who are not His followers.

I think I understand why you might want to see it another way, and it is I think because it messes with your narrative you are trying to push, yes? In any event, I am glad we agree that the land is core to Judaism, but it is a misguided to say Judaism is "not to the faith of Christ". A few corrections from your comments above. 1 century AD Judaism had much more groups than just the pharisees, as the Pharisee were one of many groups. In fact, in recent years it has been found that there were more groups than believed prior. Therefore, the Apostles came from different various groups from with Judaism. Paul, the Apostles to the Gentiles came from and is a Pharisee. If all the Apostles or Jews in general were Pharisee's, then Paul would not have to say this about himself. One thing that all these groups had in common was their expectation of the Christ (Jewish Messiah). Judaism in general believes in a Messiah but it was a new Jewish group that appeared on the scene from Judaism that called themselves "the Way" who believed that Jesus is the Messiah and they still considered themselves to be Jewish adhering to Judaism.

So, to make the claim that the Apostles had no care for the land is also misguided. Every apostle was a Torah‑formed Jew. For them: the land was a covenant gift, the land was tied to Abraham’s promise. After the resurrection, the apostles STILL expected a restored Israel. In Acts 1:6 — after Jesus rose from the dead, the disciples ask: “Lord, will You at this time restore the kingdom to Israel?” If they had abandoned the land, this question would make no sense.

In any event, you brought up the seed again. So, if you want to discuss the seed as I asked in my prior posts, then again, I ask, please explain in detail what you believe about the seed, so that I can see through your lens and perhaps we can prevent present our views without going in circles or we can continue with our current discussion, but please lets not do both. One topic at a time, and then move on to another, so that our discussions does not get fragmented. Thanks.

Absolutely 💯
The entire Bible, God keep telling people to stay under His wings, stay inside His gate, get on the ark, stay inside the passover blood gate...

The only reason we have an unconditional covenant with God is because God give us a new heart, born again in spirit.
There is no such thing as unconditional covenant with evil doers and support evil stuff. So no matter how evil they are, We just support all the evil behaviors? That make us part of the evil too. Just don't make sense.

Read the Bible!!!

My reason for bolding it was to show that Jesus appeared to be saying that Jerusalem would see him again after 3 days

His people in this context are the Jews who rejected Him in Jerusalem. Then following right after that, He says, "For I tell you, you will not see me again until you say, ‘Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.’” Context is key, and it is clear Jesus is referring Jews who are not His followers.

I don't agree with your conclusion that he was only speaking to those who were not his followers. Not all of Jerusalem disbelieved. When Jesus said Psalms 118:26 would be uttered when Jerusalem saw him again, he was not in Jerusalem. When Jerusalem did see him again as he descended the Mt of Olives, his disciples said exactly what he said would be said. And if they hadn't said it the rocks would have cried out those words because he said they would be uttered, as I explained in a previous post.

I think I understand why you might want to see it another way, and it is I think because it messes with your narrative you are trying to push, yes?

No, that is the modus operandi of dispensationalists. I see it the way I do because all of the prophets prophesied of those days in which the apostles lived. Scripture says so

And all the prophets from Samuel, and as many as spoke thereafter foretold these days. Acts 3:24

Yet dispensationalists disbelieve this and what other scripture plainly says in order to push everything into the future to make their narrative work. The fact that God has fulfilled, or is fulfilling, every prophecy pertaining to Israel in Christ and his body collapses their narrative.

Judaism in general believes in a Messiah but it was a new Jewish group that appeared on the scene from Judaism that called themselves "the Way" who believed that Jesus is the Messiah and they still considered themselves to be Jewish adhering to Judaism.

The pharisees were the mainstream group that educated the people. Jesus acknowledged that when he told the people to listen to them because they sat in the seat of Moses to teach the people. Everything else was either the ruling priestly class (Saducees) or fringe elements (eg., Essenes). So of course the disciples would have held beliefs taught by the pharisees.

So, to make the claim that the Apostles had no care for the land is also misguided. Every apostle was a Torah‑formed Jew. For them: the land was a covenant gift, the land was tied to Abraham’s promise. After the resurrection, the apostles STILL expected a restored Israel. In Acts 1:6after Jesus rose from the dead, the disciples ask: “Lord, will You at this time restore the kingdom to Israel?” If they had abandoned the land, this question would make no sense.

Since the disciples were inculcated in the ideas of the pharisees, they expected the restoration of the earthly kingdom then. But that idea vanished when they were baptized in the holy spirit at Pentecost. That was the promise true Israel was waiting for.

I ask you again, as I asked you before, to address Paul's statement in Galatians 3:16 that God promised the land to Abraham and to his seed, who is Christ, not Israel. That's a fair thing to ask since you claim the land was promised to Israel in the blood covenant of Genesis 15:18, whereas Paul says it was promised to Christ.

Thank you for your response:
Through the law we become conscious of sin Rom3:20
I have often heard it said only the two laws are written in the mind and placed on the hearts of believers. However, that would mean you could only be conscious of sin in regard to not loving God or your neighbour as you should.
If a believer committed adultery for example, would they only be conscious of sin in regard to not loving as they should, or would they specifically be conscious of sin because they committed the act of adultery?
You have the existance of the Mosaic law as a reference of what those two commands fulfill... . Thus As a Christian We know what love God and love your neighbor means Because we recognize There was once a mosaic law that was in place That defined Some but not all sin

Of course that's only if you can't pay attention to that law written under your heart. Killing somebody or sleeping with somebody's wife or stealing something is intuitively known as wrong and therefore you would not be showing love to God or to your neighbor by performing those Acts because in your heart you would know it was wrong

Jesus did not die at Calvary to abolish what is holy, just and good(Rom7:12) he died to end man's condemnation under what is holy, just and good.
If you asked christians if they knew in their mind God does not want them to steal, commit adultery, murder, covet, take the Lord's name in vain, all I know would say they did know that.
They would also say in their hearts they would not want to do those things.

I will write my laws in their minds
And place them on their hearts.

I never said it was abolished in fact I included it as a reference point for the main two points of love God and love your neighbor

It was not the Mosaic law that was written to the heart nowhere in the Bible does it say that not even in Jeremiah 31: 31

What we know happened is Israel failed miserably and God's plan of Salvation for mankind was given to the Gentiles to make Israel jealous remembering that the new law which was not renewed it was literally the correct word meaning new.

And you are wrong mankind now knows intrinsically that murder adultery theft Etc is wrong if they don't they grew up in a cave away from society on their own by themselves and have never associated with another human

Only somebody stuck in the first century understanding of Jesus's actions and ignoring 2,000 years of learning and scholarly work in research will conclude that the Mosaic law is currently binding on anybody

It exists in our Bible and will never go away as stated in Matthew 5:17 however even Matthew 5:17 does not claim that it is binding on anybody it simply says it's not going to fade away until everything in the Old Testament aka the law and profits are fulfilled

It is evidence of complete ignorance of the Mosaic law as well as the New Testament teachings in particular The Works of Christ on the cross that the Mosaic law is still in effect

Only cults like Hebrew roots and SDA attempt to use the Mosaic law as if it was still possible even though they have no priest they have no Temple there is no Levites and we can't do sacrifices without them moreover Jesus is not from the tribe of Levi an oven necessity are changing the priest will be a change in the law

So if you are a stupid person and I mean that literally who believes the Mosaic law is still binding unbelievers today even though it was never given to Gentiles in the first place you simply are proving that you do not understand the list above and have no place engaging people as if you know something because you don't
