Yet Jesus suffered and died outside the city gates - not in Jerusalem.

Hebrews 13:12 Wherefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people with his own blood, suffered without the gate.

John 19:17 And he bearing his cross went forth into a place called the place of a skull, which is called in the Hebrew Golgotha:

Luke 23:33 And when they were come to the place, which is called Calvary, there they crucified him, and the malefactors, one on the right hand, and the other on the left.

Leviticus 16:27 And the bullock for the sin offering, and the goat for the sin offering, whose blood was brought in to make atonement in the holy place, shall one carry forth without the camp; and they shall burn in the fire their skins, and their flesh, and their dung.

I am aware of that detail, yet still see that the local city is identified.
I also live out of town, yet my nearest town is named on my address.
Where was Jesus sentenced to death?

According to the Bible, Jerusalem is described as God's chosen earthly dwelling place and holy city, though scripture also points to a future heavenly "New Jerusalem".
Uh anyone think God is going to be over throned???

when you say jewrusalum is the harlot, you meant the past? Or modern days?
The harlot is riding on the beast? Shouldn't them be in the same time frame? They work together.

I feel the beast is in modern days.

I feel the beast is modern days too.
Those events transpired and John wrote about them but the spiritual warfare is by no means over.
The spiritual legacy of the beasts and the harlot continue in different forms.
They can be recognized in other periods of history too.
John however was writing about "things which must shortly come to pass" Revelations 1:1.
John also told us that there are many antichrists (1John 2:18).

I think that the beast that comes out of the sea (the Mediterranean sea) is Rome, and the beast that comes out of the land (looks like a lamb, speaks like a dragon) is Jerusalem.
His 2 horns are the last 2 high priests.
We are also told much detail about the Roman kings.

Revelations 17:10 And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space.
11 And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition.

At the time John was writing 5 Roman kings had fallen since the birth of Christ: Julius Cesar, Augustus Cesar, Tiberius Cesar, Caligula and Claudius.
One is: Nero Cesar.
The other is not yet come: Galba, who reigned for only 7 months, and thus "continued a short space".

After that the Roman Empire disintegrated into civil war and chaos and was by all appearance dead.
Following the civil wars, the 8th beast Vespasian (69-79AD) "miraculously" arose, and founded the Flavian dynasty.
It was under his son Titus that Jerusalem was destroyed.

The Beast who John was not at liberty to name in person is Nero Cesar.
The number of his name is found when transliterating "Neron Cesar" into Hebrew letters, and adding up the numerical values of those letters.
What translation of the Bible do you have, the anti-semetic version?

The verse below is very clear that the land of Israel belongs to the Jewish people in the past, present, and future. This is not symbolic and it is certainly not referring to non-Jews who are Christians.
Ezekiel 37:21-26 -

This is what the Sovereign Lord says: I will take the Israelites out of the nations where they have gone. I will gather them from all around and bring them back into their own land. I will make them one nation in the land, on the mountains of Israel. There will be one king over all of them and they will never again be two nations or be divided into two kingdoms. They will no longer defile themselves with their idols and vile images or with any of their offenses, for I will save them from all their sinful backsliding and I will cleanse them. They will be my people, and I will be their God.

“‘My servant David will be king over them, and they will all have one shepherd. They will follow my laws and be careful to keep my decrees. They will live in the land I gave to my servant Jacob, the land where your ancestors lived. They and their children and their children’s children will live there forever,

Ezekiel 37:25 And they shall dwell in the land that I have given unto Jacob my servant, wherein your fathers have dwelt; and they shall dwell therein, even they, and their children, and their children's children for ever: and my servant David shall be their prince for ever.

It is well understood that God brought the children of Israel back to the promised land after this prophesy, yet how do we reconcile the eternal nature of God's intentions with the fact that God also made an eternal new covenant through Jesus, and that He not only used the Romans to destroy old covenant Israel, but intends to destroy the whole earth?
Some say that old covenant Israel will simply be reinstated.
Yet Israel has already existed in many other forms and this would clash with Revelations 18:21
"And a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone, and cast it into the sea, saying, Thus with violence shall that great city Babylon be thrown down, and shall be found no more at all."
Which indicates that old covenant Israel is finished forever.
I would suggest that Jacob and the fathers also dwell in heavenly Jerusalem, and "David" is also the house of David, so the prince is Jesus.

What translation of the Bible do you have, the anti-semetic version?

I have the one that says:
Matthew 11:21
Woe unto thee, Chorazin! woe unto thee, Bethsaida! for if the mighty works, which were done in you, had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago in sackcloth and ashes.

I have the one that says:
Matthew 11:21
Woe unto thee, Chorazin! woe unto thee, Bethsaida! for if the mighty works, which were done in you, had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago in sackcloth and ashes.
Sorry I shouldn't have implied you're anti-semetic although those who try to say Israel is 'the beast' must not have a clue to what God thinks of Israel.
The Bible contains several key passages where God promises that His covenant with Israel will last forever and that He will never abandon them. Notable scriptures include Jeremiah 31:35–37, Romans 11:25–29, and Isaiah 54:10
Sure one can pick out areas in any given place where you'll find sin abounding as well as fantastic work for the Lord going on. God picked Jerusalem to dwell in, it can't be that bad.
God's 'chosen people' the beast...really??? Gnite, blessings to all🙏✨

It is well worth bearing in mind though that God has an eternal heavenly Jerusalem, where Abraham Isaac and Jacob will continue to dwell.
Israel has had many forms in the Bible.
It was a single man after Jacob wrestled with God and prevailed.
They were still the children of Israel when they lived in Egypt.
They were still the children of Israel when they were "in the church in the wilderness" Acts 7:38.
Israel lived in the promised land under the old covenant.
Jesus and His disciples were all children of Israel.
The kingdom of Israel continues now into eternity under it's rightful king Jesus.
It is Jesus who defines who are the rightful citizens and who are not.

Sure one can pick out areas in any given place where you'll find sin abounding as well as fantastic work for the Lord going on. God picked Jerusalem to dwell in, it can't be that bad.

The children of Israel have been through many things at many different times in their relationship with God.
If we wish to understand that relationship in this time we should look for passages that are relevant to this time, regardless of whether they sound good or bad in our ears.

Israel was scattered. Jesus saved the remnant when He went to the heart of the earth. Jerusalem was detroyed as God said. That generation saw it happen. This generation will see it happen also. 1948 had a purpose.

Just because man calls something/someone 'Israel' or "Jew' doesn't make it so. God makes it so.

Romans 9
6 Not as though the word of God hath taken none effect. For they are not all Israel, which are of Israel:
7 Neither, because they are the seed of Abraham, are they all children: but, In Isaac shall thy seed be called.

Romans 2
28 For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh:
29 But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.

You can believe man of God. God said this happen...

Isaiah 65
12 Therefore will I number you to the sword, and ye shall all bow down to the slaughter: because when I called, ye did not answer; when I spake, ye did not hear; but did evil before mine eyes, and did choose that wherein I delighted not.
13 Therefore thus saith the Lord God, Behold, my servants shall eat, but ye shall be hungry: behold, my servants shall drink, but ye shall be thirsty: behold, my servants shall rejoice, but ye shall be ashamed:
14 Behold, my servants shall sing for joy of heart, but ye shall cry for sorrow of heart, and shall howl for vexation of spirit.
15 And ye shall leave your name for a curse unto my chosen: for the Lord God shall slay thee, and call his servants by another name:
16 That he who blesseth himself in the earth shall bless himself in the God of truth; and he that sweareth in the earth shall swear by the God of truth; because the former troubles are forgotten, and because they are hid from mine eyes.

His servants, by another name, are called Christians. A Christian is not anti-semetic, but they don't hide the truth either. God wants ALL to be saved, that's His will. My great grandfather's name was Solomon. It appears he left 'being Jewish' completely behind. I never could find his story. I wonder if he read, "come out of her my people"?

Yet, all of the "Christian" Zionist still did not explain why they are shouting support of a pagan calf?

did Jesus ever command His followers to worship golden calf? Or any pagan gods?

Still going on with this nonsense. smh Saying Israel deserves to have their home and protect it is now pagan. Some people are in for one rude awakening when Christ returns.

This is absolutely false. Either you've never read the Bible or you didn't read it with comprehension. And the regular crew is just as ignorant of the Word as you are.

Mathew 27:1 When the morning was come, all the chief priests and elders of the people took counsel against Jesus to put him to death:

Mathew 27:1 When the morning was come, all the chief priests and elders of the people took counsel against Jesus to put him to death:

John 10:18

18 No one takes it from me, but I lay it down of my own accord. I have authority to lay it down and authority to take it up again. This command I received from my Father.” - Jesus

Israel and the Church

For those who do not realize that Israel and the Church are the same, they are showing a lack of understanding that Christ and the Church are the sum and substance of the O T Prophecy. Christ is in all the scripture Lk 24:44,47

And he said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me.

And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, he expounded unto them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself.

He and His People, believers in Him, are the terminus of prophetic scripture.

The Nation of Israel had no other purpose for existence apart from being a type preparing the way for the New Covenant People of God of whom the end of the ages hath come 1 Cor 10:11

11 Now all these things happened unto them for examples [a type]: and they are written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come.

And without whom the OT Saints of old could not be perfected Heb 11:40

40 God having provided some better thing for us, that they without us should not be made perfect.

Which again solidifies that the OT Saints are One Church with the NT Saints, for this is readily perceived with the Transfer to both jew and gentile the names and privileges originally attributed to National Israel i.e Rom 1:6-7

6 Among whom are ye also the called of Jesus Christ:

7 To all that be in Rome, beloved of God, called to be saints: Grace to you and peace from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Rom 9:24-26

24 Even us, whom he hath called, not of the Jews only, but also of the Gentiles?

25 As he saith also in Osee, I will call them my people, which were not my people; and her beloved, which was not beloved.

26 And it shall come to pass, that in the place where it was said unto them, Ye are not my people; there shall they be called the children of the living God.

Also 1 Pet 2:9-10

9 But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light;

10 Which in time past were not a people, but are now the people of God: which had not obtained mercy, but now have obtained mercy.

These scriptures, duly considered, with the blessing of the Lord, can be seen to unite or to recognize the union of the OT Saints with NT Saints. 4

Yes I was wrong about the time of Julius Cesar.
Wikipedia says he was dictator of Rome from 49 to 44 BC.
John did not claim that the first beast was present at Jesus birth however, that was my mistake.

I understand that you interpret those passages into a different historical context than that.
Would you be able to provide us with any detail on the identities of the beasts and kings?
Here is how I see Rev 17:10:

Revelation 17:10 And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space.

In its time Rome was governed by seven forms of Government

1. Kings
2. Consuls
3. Dictators
4. Decemvirs
5. Military Tribunes
6. Military Emperors
7. Despotic Emperors

5 had fallen in Johns day they were already past
the one is - the 6th form of government that was present in Johns day was the Military Emperors
the not yet come - in Johns day were the 7th form - the despotic Emperors

Diocletian marked the start of the Despotic Emperors - Prior to Diocletian all the Emperors wore the Laurel Crown but Diocletian discarded this and wore the Diadem - which was the badge of Asiatic despotic Sovereignty

The Papacy is the eighth in verse 11

Revelation 17:11 And the beast that was, and is not, even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and goeth into perdition.
