I walk 6 miles daily, 3 of those miles in early morning. For health reasons i started doing walks and will keep doing them. Spiders are not bad yet but as it warms up more they will be out mostly in the woods.
I do spring mushroom hunting for morels and spider webs across the face is all part of being out in the great wilds, Not much you can do about it. Enjoy your walks. :)
6 miles daily is awesome! We usually just walk for about 30 minutes total but I think we are going to continue to increase it each week or so, as I would love to be able to walk or run a marathon eventually.

I remember when I was 21 I would run 4 miles upon waking up, then lift weights at noon in the condo complex community gym for about an hour, and then run again for 4 miles at night before bed. I was in the best shape of my life back then. I think I was so fit, that it really took a lot of effort for me to even sweat. I wonder if that is even possible now but I’d love to try.

Mercury and Venus and the moon
My morning walk is before sunrise with my Jack Russell. She has an afternoon walk too.
Anyway, this time of the year, I see a very bright Saturn in the east risen up and over the ellipse of the earth. When it first appears, I know Spring is around the corner, and yes! Here it is.
God bless your walks, mornings and nights.

Yesterday on my morning walk, I finally didn't go through any spiderwebs.

i guess it doesn't happen every time....just the last few weeks.

i wonder if that is because it is Spring time now? Not sure....spider expert? @CarriePie what do you have to say about this?

Yes, in SoCal it is warmer than most of the rest of the country. This means that you will start seeing spider webs sooner than the cooler areas/states. For example, in northern Oklahoma, I see orbs more towards late summer and into fall.

Still no spiders today. It was kind of cold this morning on my walk.

Do you go on a morning walk?

If not, why not?
I use to go on walks at different times to take my dog for a walk, usually we would go around 3am but I had a thought that this is not safe so I started taking him in the mornings around 9 am but my dog is an untrained chihuahua/terrier mix and very aggressive towards other dogs and i kept running into other dogs sometimes in packs and I'm afraid that eventually something really bad is going to happen to him as there has been 4 close calls already. I may join planet fitness and walk on their treadmills.

Not sure if you are a morning person but maybe an earlier time would be best to walk your dog?

I have a habit of waking up at 3:30am every morning. I usually wake my fiancé up around 4:30am and our walk usually starts at 5am.

I found that there usually are no dog walkers around that time but I have seen wild animals, such as coyotes and raccoons, so far; I’ve smelled skunks also in the area. There is way less traffic also around that time, if you are in a city neighborhood.

If you or anyone takes this advice, it might be great to have protection on you, such as some pepper spray.

Walking at Planet Fitness might be better on your joints because of the flat surface, so there’s that but if you like being outdoors, then there is the latter.

I'm still going on morning walks. I've been starting out when the street lights are still on, but it's just enough light to not need a flashlight. It's been particularly nice lately since the mornings have gotten cool. I hear roosters, hawks, crows, songbirds, and woodpeckers. I smell the sweet smell of wild clematis and see the cattails bursting because it's the end of the season for them. I walk along the edge of the woods, so I sometimes see/hear other critters. My own pics.... (the county mowed down the cattails after I took this pic) wild clematis.jpgcattails end of season.jpg
